    This is exactly what I was looking for! Thank you! :D I was making a sweater but it was way too short. Instead of starting it again, I decided to make ruffles!!!!

    I didn’t find this confusing at all! Seems quite simple - just repeat two rounds until desired length. The first round is alternating 1dc into one stitch & 2dc into the next, and the second is just one single crochet into each stitch. And joining the rounds with a slip stitch if you’re working in rounds. Thanks for the tutorial!

    I’m working on my very first blanket, all basket weave stitch and it’s coming out gorgeous! However, the tutorial I followed basically puts an extra stitch at the end of every row which has made all of my edges just wavy… kinda like an unintentional ruffle so I was just gonna go with it and do a ruffled boarder when it’s done. This is exactly the look I had in mind, I didn’t want a super tight ruffle and I’m so excited to put this on my blanket, thank you!

    Just curious is there a reason for the SC round in between or would it work the same without it? I love the loose ruffles

    Hi thanks for the tutorial, any plans to show how you made the actual t-shirt or any tips? Thanks!

      Thank YOU for watchin! The shirt in the video is actually a paid pattern of mine. You can find it here: www.thesnugglery.net/product-page/ruffles-and-puffles-top-baby-girl-crochet-pattern
      I am working on a video about crocheting top-down sweaters which is the way this top is constructed so please stay tuned for that!

    Can i stitch granny square to the ruffle?? Will the granny square look like a ruffle too??

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can add the ruffle to the edge of a granny square no problem. Just make the granny square first and add the ruffle like the video. Adding a granny square after to a finished ruffle would be trickier and you'd probably have to do some decreasing

    • @peipeifey
      @peipeifey 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      The Snugglery i mean like i want the granny square to be a ruffle so when i make a top it’ll have a motif (im making sunflower granny square) ruffle.

    • @TheSnugglery
      @TheSnugglery  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@peipeifey ooo that's a cool idea. I'm not 100% sure how to pull that off, plus keeping the sunflower motif. You could try adding twice as many stitches per round of the square. That'll make it ruffle but you'll probably have to play around with it to see if you like the result

    Idk if you’ve seen other crochet videos, and I know you’re new at making videos, but if you didn’t cut the video or speed it up in the beginning, I think it would be a little easier to understand. But otherwise, thank you for the tutorial! Had to make ruffles on my 6 mo olds pennywise costume😅

    How would I make it looser ?

    • @vene7749
      @vene7749 ปีที่แล้ว

      probably by adding more 1dc between each of the 2dc and experimenting until you get the look you’re going for

      Sorry about that! I'm still super new to TH-cam and explaining myself in video. I wanted to demonstrate a two row repeat to make this little ruffle edge. The written instructions are in the description box and are much clearer.
