Meanwhile, a one bed room condo here in CA cost $2,450/ month. Love your videos. Do you have to sign an annual lease for the apartment? Are there month to month lease?

Yes that's a big reason why we came back to China. We got tired of how expensive it is back home and it was getting hard to travel which Is our passion. So we decided to come back to continue our travels and save money at the same time. Yes you have to sign an annual lease so basically you make 4 payments a year and pay for 3 months in advance. There is also month to month but it is rare and if you do the month to month it will be a little more expensive but not too much.

Apartment #1 was also my favorite. I'm so happy yall got it. I'm an ESL Teacher in NYC, and have been living here my whole life. Everything in NYC is astronomically Expensive and I'm just tired of working to pay rent. No vacations, No recreational activities because everything is just so high priced. Take your family out to McDonald's, expect to spend about $50. I'm now considering relocating out of the country. My top 3 places are Vietnam, Thailand, and China. The first few months, I will like to explore and learn the city (not working) and then eventually seek employment teaching English. I've already been teaching myself how to speak Chinese. Thanks for the video. #NewSubscriber ⚘️

@@sincerelylatoshamonique8781 Ya I know exactly what you mean that's why we decided to come back to China. Much more affordable and much more ease of travel which is what we love to do. We can literally travel every weekend if we want to and not break the bank or even get close to. And we have so many holidays to travel out of the country for so cheap as well. Not to mention how cheap the housing is this apartment would be at least 3000- 4000 I believe in New York .Also I wouldn't got to Thailand or Vietnam unless you just want the experience because the pay is really bad there. The only country that pays a really high salary is China for ESL so it is definitely the best of you want to teach English abroad. Also if you have any questions at all feel free to add me on Instagram and ask me ok there. @oregon805 Thank you for the sub!! 😁

@@djadventurearchives Thank You so much for your wonderful words of encouragement. I'm actually watching another one of your videos now when you discuss Teaching in China. I will connect with on IG. I have almost 4 years experience teaching English at the top ESL school in NY. Are there any programs that require ESL instructors to teach adults?

Does it take time adjusting to a Chinese kitchen and bathroom? Are apartments unfurnished?

@@djadventurearchives It was a rhetorical question - I only mean to say that the apartments always look spotless and with modern furnitures.
In UK,you visit some and say to yourself 'do they really deem this habitable to the point they expect one to pay for it'
