I was surprised when she said she was the first person of colour to hoste the Globes, and then when I went to check it turns out that although there have been 76 Golden Globe ceremonies, only 11 of these ceremonies have had actual hosts. And 4 out of those 11 were hosted by Ricky Gervais 🤣
@@fassbrig i know she thanked "the cast" but the show is all about the two of them they are equally as important to the plot and Jodie's performance was brilliant and i feel she lost a great opportunity to highlight that...i feel like sandra was nominated alone...and deservedly by the way...because they basically didnt want to name two from the same show but i hope in future jodie also gets the recognition she deserves.....because killing Eve without villanelle is non existant !

Particularly Kim Bodnia as Konstantin. His and Villanelles constant interaction was equally well played out between them. Jodie’s time will come. Right now it is Sandra’s time and she deserves to be recognised.

Elana Leanna i love JodIE but no, Villanelle was not the whole show. The show wouldn’t have been successful without the both of them. Villanelle is easily appealing, she plays into our inner desires, and Jodie’s performance was downright breathtaking. But Eve is more subtle - it takes an incredibly talented and seasoned actress to be able to carry the nuances and mundaneness of Eve and make it exciting and relatable. It’s true that villanelle easily steals the show - her humor, her power, her carefree attitude, but she was not the whole show. Villanelle rarely had any character development until the last three episodes, meanwhile Eve’s character developed steadily in each. And as for outside the show, Sandra has had to work very hard, wait for respectable roles, and overcome certain prejudices that Jodie may never face just to be on that stage at the age of 47. Jodie is already getting roles to star in two Hollywood feature films with some big names - something she rightfully deserves. But all in all, Killing Eve was successful because of them two, neither one was the whole show but Eve’s character was more challenging in terms of subtlety and emotionally, and Sandra clearly deserves the awards.

Uh, yeah she did. Sandra takes a very boring, mundane character and plays her with such nuance and grace. While everyone is looking at the shiny object (villanelle) Oh is killing it. Jodie is fantastic, and she will get her awards she deserves as people tune in, but to say Oh didn’t deserve is is just a garbage opinion. 🤷🏽♀️
