As someone who watched the anime and the anime only, I could agree on that one. I never could play any of the games because I didn't think they were that good and I didn't know the anime was based off the games until I rewatched it at some point. And when I finally did know about the games, I realized I couldn't get them because they never came here in the US. From an anime perspective, my personal favorite season would have to be Inazuma Eleven GO: Chrono Stone. I know it's not the best of stories, but I found time travel to be an entertaining story concept for the GO series. I loved Fei's character, but Zanark Avalonic is probably the best Chrono Stone character. Everything after Chrono Stone (still focusing on the anime) was a waste of time.

@@wes-ht9pl The Inazuma Eleven games feel sluggish and mediocre on an emulator.
The mechanics were worse than in IE2. Changes on your Teams were only possible in certain locations for example. And getting specific players in this game is based on pure luck since they are in vending machines

Def Inazuma eleven 2 was so much fun. The scouting system was also really easy to use. It's a shame that you can't get some things because the wifi connection got cut out.

Yeah I agree with this ranking, IE 2 has really nice gameplay ngl. Granted cs’s postgame is really good, it’s main story and drop rates just ruin it. Galaxy is alright, if ignore the fact that it’s kinda easy compared to cs (mainly due to exploits and the level 99 routes being more ‘balanced’) , only if it had good reverse positioning like cs.
What's wrong with Chrono Stone's story? ...Is time travel really THAT mediocre of a story concept like Chrono Trigger?
@@Loner098 most IE stories are mid at best, this one just lacked any sense of direction in its plot like the villain swap at the end kind of fumbled it, a lot of characters didn’t really do much and overall just wasn’t great. It wasn’t terrible, just didn’t do anything- maybe except character interactions, which every game does - good.
@@turdperson4463 I personally thought it was a cool plot twist how El Dorado, a group who was originally their enemy, became their ally for a short period of time. Also, is this from the perspective of the games or the anime? Here I thought everything after Chrono Stone was a waste of time.
@@Loner098 from a games Perspective, but like El dorado are still bad, like chairman Argos is still a terrible person. Ngl I wanted the hyper evolved to win, which is bad as the player shouldn’t want the villains to win.
@@turdperson4463 Well, I thought Argos' had a decent motive for getting rid of soccer from the protagonists. And I guess Simeon could've gotten better work as a villain, but you could at least agree it's better than the awfully rushed Ares and Orion.

Chrono stones has a better story than Galaxy. That's the only thing it's better.
Galaxy's story in the game is better than the anime. Very very solid. Has better gameplay, mechanics and many upgrades as well as better balance. Is better in almost everything
Yeah I agree, IE 2 is better than 3 as a game and story too. IE 3 had a terrible scouting system and it was hard to get everything in game. I would rather use cheats.

I'm playing IE:GO Light and I agree with you. It's definitely the worst IE, even though i had some fun with it.
- Matches in Story Mode feel very scripted with lots of unnecessary tasks
and you don't really feel in control.
- Bad scouting system. I won't even mention topics and photos, and how bad most of the characters movesets are... Good scout characters are either locked behind DLC or you need to beat the game to get them.
- Hissatsus are very scarce and lacks variety, most stores I checked had duplicates. Some matches even had multiple players using the exact same move.
- Fighting Spirits are way too unbalanced.
I gotta agree with this but it'll always be my favorite game along with IE 2 Blizzard lol. Also love the Kaiji pfp my dude

Yeah, I just finished the 3 GO games and I must say: the story, graphics and OST are good enough, the gameplay outside Story Mode is also pretty decent. They all have some issues related to gameplay balance, scouting system, and intrusive tasks during matches, unfortunately. But they're fun enough if you can get through it, and the amount of content is also huge.

My favorites are IE2, IE3 and surprisingly Galaxy (it would be Chrono Stone if it weren't so slow-paced and grindy, but I love the story, OST and mixi-max + armed keshin combo).
@@kuroggg i agree those tasks got repetitive. they shouldve been less like the DS trilogy. the scouting is also annoying yeah. I just gave up and didnt scout characters until galaxy. great games overall tho ye

Galaxy never released outside of Japan. The only way to play it are in Japanese or ROM hacks with different language translations.

Playing IE2 and IE3 (JP) I didn't really feel a difference in pace and graphics beyond the pacing, so I wonder what you meant by "slow and ugly"?
Emulating IE 3 is the worst thing ever, you need to speed it up by a lot to get it to normal speed.

@@uninspiredname2974 I've played jp ver before 3ds ones came out and can agree, but 3 eng ver on my 3ds has slow downs and lag at times, crashed once but never again haha

why can't we have recruiting as easy and fast as inazuma 2? Why can't I recruit ff players in 3 till post-game? why can't I get half the Saints Way players until post game? Why can't I just beat people in matches to recruit them? No I get literal gacha grind and have to redo matches 5 times for a guy that helps me get the guy that helps me get 1/4 of the way to the guy I want.

@@Sa32929 I mean, the last anime entry for the series was Orion which had a horribly rushed ending; even Galaxy was only slightly better than both it AND Ares. The last news we ever got for Inazuma Eleven was the introduction of a new game called Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road of Heroes which had been delayed multiple times to the claimed year of 2023.
