Let's be clear, I only ever knew the name Mac Lethal because of their former beef. I was late to the history of hip hop. I was a Tom Macdonald fan FIRST. But I can't say that this diss was trash. There was some stuff I thought were easy jabs, a little too many hits at Nova, but that's how it goes with diss tracks, anything is up for grabs. This was insane. Great response video, dude. Good job keeping it honest and unbiased.

Never once did I think that bar about Mac Lethal in God Mode was meant to be a diss. Like many, I felt it was meant to show regret. Tom even said in a livestream that he doesn't want to ever do diss tracks again bc of how it made him feel. He said he didn't like how one person wins and feels good while the other is humiliated. It also bothered him that ML got harrased year(s) later. I really don't understand why Mac Lethal would take it as a negative and then go after Nova, too? This was so unnecessary and disappointing.

Not a Tom fan, but I agree that the number of bars about Nova made me a bit uncomfortable. I have to wonder if Tom's "Mac Lethal Sucks" played at least a small part in Mac's divorce. Maybe some of this is retaliation. Tom took a few shots at Mac's wife (that weren't true; she is in fact attractive). And Maybe Mac's wife was worried about her and their daughter's privacy. Either way, I think significant others and other family should be left out of the beef if they're not an active participant.
That was years ago, though. If Mac had an issue, why didn't this come out, back then? Even "God Mode", was 2 months ago, and mac is just now, trying to respond. Seems like desperate for attention.
