That is one of the most violent "hoods" in the country, and ACAL is VERY welcomed there. Those in the video are cool with him and live there. The gentleman rolling up one was murdered not long after this, (not related to the song) Very sad. The Cadillac is his personal one and he wrapped in camo. ACal is showing that regardless of your race, there are the good ones and the bad ones. Every race has negative stereotypes.

Hispanic here raised in the 70’s & 80’s in a trash city, whites, blacks, browns & reds, we were all poor and in it together. None of us saw color we saw struggle and freedom to be together. In the 80’s nobody cared what race anyone was either. We were far past all that. This started back under Obama and his oligarchy consisting of Hollywood, mainstream music icons, mainstream news, other mainstream television personalities, the corrupt UN, academia, etc. They all started pushing propaganda to racially divide America around 2012 not long after the Obama administration repealed the Smith-Mundt Act removing restrictions that kept the US government from using propaganda on its citizens. They were still doing it of course but never in such a blatant, widespread and unlimited way.

Old Head here…He brought out the negatives of sub-responsible males. Men, as a whole, need to step up and be accountable and drive the direction of our society. He spoke truth like Chuck D or KRS back in the day, and they made you think. As far as the N-word, any one over 40 knows it comes down to the intent of which you say it. I still have fun with the guys I work with and we bring up stereotypes to have fun and laugh at each other, it works because of mutual respect. Keep up the good work, maybe some of the young guys will pick up what you’re laying down.

No Chuck D was speaking about Government control and its destruction towards us and he pointed out who is actually behind the words Government and its Caucasians, now he is not about fighting the power he has joined them. The Bible says we are not to unite We are the Israelites and the Messiah is the only person who is going to rectify this madness as it is written Caucasians cannot change they were made to be as they are a bane to our existence, once we get 144,000 back to following the laws 12 from each tribe then this world ends and a new one begins.

No matter what race your talking about , they have haters towards another race . As long as politicians are looking for votes , then you'll have one promising to end racism...all the while throwing gas on the fire . Racism won't ever end , and if people realize it but decided it's not for them , then get involved with people who believes the same . The past is past and I don't care about history someone doesn't share or keeps in hiding . I can't go back in time to change anything . @@jamessmith7959Actually the black family before the civil rights movement, even before the civil war was matriarchal which is why slaves children followed the lineage of their mothers not their fathers. In honesty we’re taught that slavery was a grotesque part of our labor force, but evidence shows that slavery may have been a well balanced migrant workforce where everyone benefited. We are taught that slaves were treated inhumanly, but actual laws in southern states at the time had laws that protected slaves from abuse. Evidence has revealed that some of the largest and wealthiest plantation owners were in fact black, and crazy enough black women. And how does this story of chattel slavery fit with the factual evidence of prolific use of share cropping?

Simply listen to how rap has evolved over the last 30+ years😔 I aspired to have all that money thanks to rap. I got locked up in 1997 and had a year in county to reflect on my life choices. First thing I did when I got out was get the whip and kick of the chronic album. Prior to being jailed I listened to the lyrics (I was all about that bass🤣). When I got out I HEARD the lyrics and realized why I did what I did🤦‍♂️. Adam showed how stereo types in the poor black and white cultures give an overall view of that particular class that isn't necessarily true. For instance, "white trash" and "hillbillies" are frequently mistaken to be the same, but are morally different on so many levels. He is saying "white trash" class are looking for handouts and are basically morally depleted, where as "hillbillies" are poor, but work hard and respect family. Because both classes are poor, society just lumps them together. The same happens in the black culture with the 2 different poor classes. One obviously looking for handouts and morally depleted, and the other is hard working with much respect for the family. He also showed us that "the powers that be", just want to turn the cultures against each other instead of helping and encouraging unity. This song gives a great message! Thank you for your honest and wonderful review!

TH-camr Stevie Knight did an interview with Adam Calhoun about this song. Basically, Adam grew up like this, saying Nigga was normal to him. Black folk around him called him Nigga and he said it back to them, and NO ONE had an issue with it. Im Native American and I grew up with Black families, its normal for me too. Im an only child and my was with a black dude since I was 2 years old until I was 20. Went to all his family reunions, gatherings, hung out with his homies (he was from the hood). Also, aunt married a black dude and had 5 boys, they are like my little brothers. But I am respectful, there are those that do not like it when I say it, so I will not say it in front of them. Sometimes ill ask how they feel about it, just so I do not catch them off guard. I see the word the same as Mexicans say Ese, or the same as homie, homeboy, its a work or friendship to me. Shit, like I said, im Native American and my team is the REDSKINS!!! And I do not take offense to being called a REDSKIN!

I appreciate that you 2 took the time to listen to what he was saying and how he meant for it to come across. At first when I saw the description I was like here we go with people getting but hurt over something moat likely harmless. (When I first saw the description I hadn't heard the song or even heard about the song) I was pre judging myself, for that I apologize. I agree with what you took from what Adam was saying and how you went back and played the verse a second time before you made a comment on it. You just got another subscriber here. The world needs to "do their homework" so to speak when they hear something. Reacting and then fact finding is not the way to do it. I see it on the daily people just co-signing to what they heard and act on it. I know someone personally that was falsely accused of something that never happened and some people went with it and tried to unalive him. He barley survived being beaten down and stabbed. Now there are some people in prison for doing what they believed was right.
Had they done alil bit of "homework" the wouldn't be sitting there regretting what happened. ( I'm not trying to say whether they were right or wrong in their belief that if someone has done what he was accused of that they were doing what was right.) If I was in prison for doing that to someone that I thought deserved to be un alived i would have to believe it to be worth spending the rest of my life in prison. Can't imagine the shit that would be going thru my head if i found out that it was not correct info. I allways tell people to get yo information verified yourself. Make sure things add up. Dont co-sign what someone else say especially in that type of situation. Have a blessed day
