One of those cables is ground and the other two could be the left or right channels the the first one on the jack is connected to left the middle is right the third is ground if it has another piece it’s the mic you can use multimeter to check the connectivity to the wires

I have built this, but not with the exact components, used a lower value resistor and higher value capacitor with 5V (and a 2n2222)
