Most people want to be prepared enough to deal with natural disasters and riots, or to defending their house/neighborhood and or leaving it,(bug in, or bug out). Most people want to be prepared to fight but dont have the time or budget to put most of their chips into that. When it is Probably on the lower side of what is a possibility for most Americans and the reality of in a shtf and that if your in multiple gunfights regularly your probably gonna die soon. Getting a cheaper build with a good dot that lasts and having a quality conceal carry and the Ammo to train is gonna be better. Most people barely have the time and money to train and should focus most of their budget onto that.
I agree with the other two guys here a *bit* more than Trench. But here's the thing: if you can afford SOLGW and DD, then you have no reason to go lower on the totem pole. Those guns are TOUGH. But if you can only afford BCM, buy BCM. Same goes for PSA, BCA, and even (dare I say) Anderson Arms. What you can afford, buy up to that quality. Yes, there's the low probability that America will collapse to the level SHTF people say. History has proven that level of collapse INCREDIBLY rare and only regional at worst. Usually due to invasion. BUT while rare, the possibility is never zero. So train accordingly. Much like the gear you buy, train as much as you are able in the manner you are able. Get a good rifle (the best thing you can afford), buy whatever kit you think applies to you, and then train two levels past what you think is necessary. Be prepared for what you think SHTF looks like in your area, then prepare a little past that, just in case things were to degrade further. Just my two cents.

We were about to set up for the night out in the jungle, darkness was closing in, we had our war paint on but had taken off our old leather glove shells. Our hands might as well been aircraft landing lights in that photo.

At a certain point a switch fire is called when team B gets to a certain point. It seems to me that switching fire is just shooting at nothing. Why keep shooting? Indeed, I am an outdoorsman and I find most of the tactical stuff makes sense but there are aspects that are strange/I find to be borderline stupid. There are a lot of legends who talk about al there tactical gear and with a complete lack of basic wilderness gear that can make a person go from life sucking to comfortable. @@trench_grenade
What are your thoughts on picking up different tactics from hunting? Me and my best friend grew up hog hunting in TX all thru high school. It was common for us to go out from 8pm to 2am every other weekend no matter conditions. We both joined the Army about a year apart and were 11C. But we found we already understood some small things from running/crawling thru the woods chasing down pigs. We also talk about using hunting as a training tool. Go out and get your soldiers to see what their weapon system does to a live target. Maybe we can’t train the full spectrum like normal but at least you can get them that “buck fever” oh shit feeling. Maybe we’re just goofy country guys but I think if done right we are teaching them tactics and how to feed yourself. Sorry trying to keep it short. Thanks for what you’re doing on here and on the trail teaching the next generation that serves!
I would add that hunting in all seasons would be good experience booster. The other animals in the area are finely-tuned to noises, movement and smells. City dwellers are attuned to different clues, or should be, so evasion skills might expand from hunting. FWIW, anyway. With cameras everywhere, arty-smarty, drones, nv/thermal, I don't know. Makes taking a deer both easier and harder. I guess being a rifleman makes the person a hunter by definition.
Permanently a fixed flashlights with pressure pads are cringe in 90% plus situations. I can do the same thing with a QD mount and a flashlight with a button on the base. If I’m larping through the woods I can throw the light in my pack and I don’t need to carry an extra or worry about letting the whole world know my location.
@@trench_grenade For sure.. It makes sense for Civilians to have WML though.. But, if it’s your only Rifle it makes more sense in my mind to be able to remove it when it’s not needed.
I will admit I don't get out and train in my kit out in the woods like I should but to be fair I don't have nor do I know anyone with any substantial land to train in. The only areas with wooded areas is my Metroparks and let's just say that anytime someone is wearing anything tactical the cops are called - such is life in blue areas.
@@trench_grenade The regional public use areas are the Metroparks. Since I'm so close to the Michigan border this area has had the regional law enforcement brainwashed that anyone doing activities in gear are "extremist militia" types. Hell, I've even tried finding airsoft fields but none within a 100 mile radius. I'm trying to find some friends that have land out in the boonies so we could train but that's my only recourse. Now here's an idea after you complete your original video series; but how about a more urban patrol scenario to fit the majority of the population since there going to be more people in the suburbs than out in the country.
Bout once a month or maybe a little less, my wife complaining about ammo expenditures and busy with family latelyl might try some late rut larp hunts after xmas tho
Maybe give a little insight to us in the city. Locking down and peotecting our block/neighborhoods, holding positions in our neighborhoods, bugging out of our neighborhoods, taking over another strong point if home is too compromised... anything you think would help brotha. I don't know, im a student in learning so im all ears... God gave me 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. 👍🏾
Because that's silly and counterproductive til shit has actually hit the fan for society at large. Besides, from a training perspective, operating in the suburbs is much easier than operating in the woods.
@RedForman22 well... when you consider the terrain, environment, exposure, wild animals, etc. of the woods, I think it's pretty fair to say it's more difficult to patrol out there than an area with sidewalks, paved roads, plumbing, and electricity.
@@climbermatt556 for one you are a idiot if you think your going to patrol anywhere during shtf and not be killed. Is it easier to walk on pavement I had no idea.

Here to redeem my hug and kiss, THANK YOOOOOOU.
Oh, 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Permanently a fixed flashlights with pressure pads are cringe in 90% plus situations. I can do the same thing with a QD mount and a flashlight with a button on the base. If I’m larping through the woods I can throw the light in my pack and I don’t need to carry an extra or worry about letting the whole world know my location.
I’ve only used a wml a handful of times for work
@@trench_grenade For sure..
Find public use area
Keep after it

Rock on
Can you please consider doing some videos using a sand table or at least a white board , those are interesting a lot of times

Thanks again
💪 once a month when We can.

@trench_grenade where do you go train public land?
On x app
Maybe give a little insight to us in the city. Locking down and peotecting our block/neighborhoods, holding positions in our neighborhoods, bugging out of our neighborhoods, taking over another strong point if home is too compromised... anything you think would help brotha. I don't know, im a student in learning so im all ears... God gave me 2 ears and 1 mouth for a reason. 👍🏾

In the circles I run in multicam is red team. Any thoughts on this Trench?
Multicam should be your standard
Great. More playing in the woods. Why don't you try this in the real suburbs like 90% of us.
Because that's silly and counterproductive til shit has actually hit the fan for society at large. Besides, from a training perspective, operating in the suburbs is much easier than operating in the woods.
This is in the suburbs
@@climbermatt556suburbs is easier than patrolling in the woods haha? What world do you live in nerd.
Excellent content as always man, appreciate your time. I am curious however on an unimportant note why are certain things cringe and what the hell kind of Internet fuddery lore causes xyz to magically be considered cringe?😅
Infantry thing. Some things are cringe off work etc
@@trench_grenade fair enough, I did find it hilarious at an axe throwing BBQ n bar my 2 Marine lil brothers damn near came outta their skin when a Chair Force airmen was in his uniform at the bar...we actually thought they were gonna toss him out and he knew it n wouldn't make eye contact 😂. Fuckin 2 legged pitbulls those outstanding crayon eaters turned into lol
@@Jordan-ql6tm this basically sums it up
@@trench_grenade 😂 ah I love it. Appreciate you speaking on intelligent group movements & communication. Would be interesting after more in this same video to think about grey man style of behavior in terms of movement, awareness and safe communication. In a hypothetical video game style break down of civility it would be interesting entertainment topic to explore...eh eh trackin? Lol think this pre-work out has my larp cylinders firing too hard lol.
If only you'd spent some of those ducats on a quality microphone...
This is the new microphone

Get out there
I’m telling you these were suppressed.
Not nearly enough ammo... a 30 round mag only weighs one pound. Isnt breaking contact and maining fire superiority basically mag dump after mag dump? Belt feds going cyclic type of energy...
Not necessarily
Only once a month, with full kit.
