The timber rattlesnake which is considered to be an endangered species. The Mississasuga rattler that dwells in a marsh in a township in the N.E..part of the state and the copperhed mostly in the S.W. As you know most snakes are reclusive. The water moccasin being an exception. I think the natural beauty and climate that you experience is a good trade off for being cautious.
