@@thatoneyounguy Canadian rules have been in the old ones. I think I saw something saying that it won’t be in the base game but it will have a dlc for it. Idk if it’s free or not.
The graphics aren’t bad at all, it’s just the player movement that looks kind of bad to me. other than that it looks fun!
Yeah I agree I actually think the graphics are above what I expected but the animations looks wonky as all get out lol still though very excited to try it out
I would be happy with 2010 graphics if they get the gameplay right. I miss FUN football gameplay. I don’t need the focus to be on micro transaction with player cards. I don’t need 30,000 different presentation scenes or 10,000 different crowd models. I just want engaging and fun gameplay.

The game being on Unreal Engine 5 is huge. UE5 has software-based Ray Traced Lighting with little impact on frame rate. You can see the lighting engine in action via the game Satisfactory (Update 8).
Once the devs take full advantage of UE5, the visuals will rival Madden.
Shoot and it ain’t even hard to Rival madden visuals so that’s kinda huge
I hope they add a community download area so the people who like to make unis and teams etc we can save time and download it ourselves.

The graphics looks great, animation is a bit choppy. But what I’m here for is CUSTOMIZATION. The uniform and logo making is the best. And the community creations is going to be groundbreaking

Maximum Football is really the future of football simulation, no likenesses or lawsuits to worry about and im very thankful for it. Im curious to see what formations they will add. I would love to see some singlewing in there.

It gives off the early 2010’s ncaa football games vibes. I loved those games and they played well so I’m excited for this game! Still think I will end up playing madden more but this will help the college football itch!
It would be sick if since they don’t have licensing for NFL and other leagues, they made their own league you can play. A whole 32 team league of custom teams. Since they can’t get real players, they should get fans to agree to be scanned and be in the game as volunteers to fill the rosters with real people. Could use random overall generator i.e. But yeah this game looks sick with its new features and modes and I’m excited to play it on its release
Nfl license is what sell game’s maximum football been coming out for years now it barely sells

I would pay even 20 bucks for this game.... i feel bad playing this game for free when it comes out.. i feel like even 20 per would help them move forward.. i understand they may have microtransactions and DLC i think ?
I know this is way late but, I just viewed this video today.
I think the timing interception coding is really good for the game. If coupled with a swat button (just like in Madden) but with no timing penalty then the game gets even more dynamic for the user.
Example: There's less than a minute in the 4th qtr and the offense has 4th and long with no time outs remaining. A long pass is thrown and now the user defender has a decision to make... hmm, do I go aggressive or just swat the ball and play it safe.
Players may need that interception for XP, or just to be taught a valuable lesson for always trying to pick a ball. Most players I hope would just swat and secure the victory, but in either event, its something that would definitely be immersive in a way we haven't seen in football.
So in short, timing picks with a penalty for error, coupled with a swatting mechanic with no timing penalty.
Customization looks “really good”. Player movement has a ways to go, IMO. Looking forward to creating some colleges though.
Game is looking great! One of my biggest criticisms was the o-lineman standing straight up after the snap, not looking like they were blocking anything. They made it look a lot better, though.
I’m excited to return to making 5 teams on the game and share screening to my friends to see who’s team does best

I had a Retro Bowl league where I had custom teams like the Miami Vices, (miami vice neon colors) brought back the Oilers, turned some cool CFB teams into "NFL" teams, and turned other sports teams into football teams. I can't wait to customize Maximum Football so I can bring that from the 8 bit world
The idea of helmets flying off when you get hit makes me melt… (pauusez) it would be so satisfying and sweet for this game ( 7:30 )

i think the graphics are great. They need to pour all of their resources into gameplay and feel. I know the game is still being developed but from what they have shown, the running is blocky and the animations look like they are missing frames. I hope that wont be the final product. it sorta still has the "axis football" kinda feel to it. Also, I think they refine the play art a bit better. Just my opinion though.
This is like if madden gave all the left over animations to Doug flutie and he put a game together like a mad scientist in a tool shed
If the co-op online is like NBA 2ks pro am or fifas pro clubs then this game is going to be outstanding.

The game is looking great needs some more work on some of the animations but what I think would really help them is if they fix the camera I love the way madden 23s camera is and if they can implement something like that to the game I’m sold
I'd buy this game for $70 over Madden 24. This game has so much potential I would fund this game to be able to do more.

They want accurate running? Watch game film. Watch WR breaks, DB back peddles. Watch sprinters coming out of the blocks. Watch videos of coaches showing proper form. Every single position has dozens if not hundreds of proper form videos.

Customization looks great as well as the graphics. However, those running animations are stiff and lack all respect of gravity lol. There’s no gathering / shift of momentum when changing direction, no lean. Player movement looks like an old Nintendo game.

What they need to do is get this game out 2 months earlier then madden and before football starts. So everyone can play this for 2 months smart if they did that. If it comes out a few days before madden or college football no one will have time to play it.
