This time is absolutely amazing considering everything. The "official" lap time of the track edition rcf on this race track is supposed to be 7:52 (BTG) without any traffic, under ideal-ish conditions and a professional driver (and only one person which obviously means less weight). So I assume a sub 7:50 should be achievable, maybe even an 7:45. Anyway, congrats to that amazing driver. He knows his car in and out. And thank you to you too for doing these videos. It's rare for a lexus fan.
@@2URLex It's also more predictable and the Lexus forum speculates that the facelift fixed some of the understeer problems that the RC F had and therefore made it less necessary. I would've loved to have it as an option, though.
@@2URLex I have it, too, and it's awesome :) It makes a big difference IMO. But the predictability seems to be a common-ish complaint. Maybe it's also simply the fact that e-diffs are far more common now and not as much of a selling point, plus the track edition is already quite highly priced as is. AFAIK Lexus never gave an official explanation for why it's missing.
QUESTION: been meaning to getan RCF for little under a year and I sound 2 specs that I want since the perfect spec just doest exist for me, first one is a 2016 standard RCF, BUT it has that beautiful white interior but at the same time the second spec is a 2015 but with the carbon package with the roof, do you think it's possible to get the carbon roof swapped after and also does the carbon package come with anything else other than the carbon roof/spoiler. thank you love your vids!
As long as the ring press department doesn't find this going viral (unlikely given the small channel) and the guy doesn't have a media license, it will most likely not be a problem.
Love seeing an RC-F being tracked, but more importantly, the Track Edition being tracked 😃
This is the best part.
Best comment of the year 👌

It is rare. Yup. Thanks for watching
Yet another awesome video! Love these Nürburgring hot laps in the RCF TE.
So do I
Great run today! Your partner has the TE dialed in and today the Lexus was the Big Dogg!! Good job!
It was good hot lap
You got the skills indeed on the road
Stay blessed
He has mad angry skills 😂
Dam i have a stock I can only imagine this. Bonkrss
Awesome run, does the new TE have a TVD as well? Also was that the PCS chiming at 6:10? I turned mine off because it almost caused an accident.
The track edition doesn't have the TVD and you can't option it
@@Sebb747 fair I guess, extra weight and whatnot

@@Sebb747 love mine, predictable enough for me to carve roads. Guess it varies by driver other than machine

Always nice to see naturally aspirated V8's on the Nurburgring. What tires is it running? 4S?

How's your RC F doing? If my estimation is correct, it's in the shop for over 6 months now.
It be like that sometimes

The carbon package comes with tvd in the early years. The carbon roof cant be removed without paying anlot of and a professional team to install.
@@thehuangbros so basically every early carbon package comes with a tvd
@@kaikaiv17 in pre facelift yes. But the first releases had tvd with plain roof
It would be great if you show the speedometer.
There are other videos on this channel with that.
Isn’t timing a tourist lap illegal?
🤷🏻♂️
Supposedly
