The central beaches have world class waves for surfing (they host 3 or 4 world championships from March-July) but are rocky. For beautiful beaches without rocks you need to go east or west of La Libertad.
We did! Turns out not taking the additional insurance was the best thing to do. The credit card refunded us 100% of the money we had to pay and it was pretty straightforward. Had we paid the rental company for the additional insurance, we would have had a 1500$ deductible. So out 1500$ and the credit card won’t refund anything in that case.
I'm Salvadorean and I've never seen a deer, even in the national parks. So what happened to you is like seeing a unicorn. It's sad but such a rare event.
The guys at the car rental place also said they have never seen a deer. In Canada we have to be very careful when driving on country roads not to hit deers.
Deers are more of a common sight now, because they have destroyed their natural habitat so they have gotten near the cities. There are many of them near the place at work, by where the offices of AVIANCA are located.
OOOOOH NOOOOO!!!! You kill the last deer in en EL Salvador!!! just kidding, when in you is the adea to have fun....everything goes to acomplish your aventure, BUT if you are kind of complaining for any details...aventure could turn into a bad experiences. can happens anywhere.
@@DonaldthefelontrumpMan, you can smoke weed at El Tunco, it is a hippie kinda place. Weed is illegal in the country, which s*cks. Hopefully someday they legalize it.

We were there during the world championships but only found out about it the morning we left. Unfortunately, we didn't see it.
welcome home
Thanks!
Costa del Sol is one of best beaches without rocks, there is also Los Almendros and El Cuco.
Thanks for the tip!
Pizza is so famous in Italy!
Yeah, Pupusas are kinda famous here. Kinda like our NATIONAL DISH!!! 😅 But how could she know?
The best beaches are in the central coast of El Salvador between Amatecampo and Costa del Sol.
Good to know!
Nope, they are past Costa del Sol: El Espino, El Tamarindo, Playa Las Flores, etc.
@@jorgealbertocentenobermudez158 never been to El Espino, Las Flores or El tamarindo, but thanks, I am gonna have to do some exploring around there
@@jerryarcher9489 You are welcome, you won't regret it. They're not SURF BEACHES, let me tell you. But they're the BEST.
Sorry by accident guys! ❤❤
Did you get your money back?

There were like 0.000001% chances of hitting a wild deer 🦌 in El Salvador 🇸🇻. You were that 0.000001% 😢

Let's not worry, the deer will be nicely cooked and/or grilled. Here in El Salvador food does not go to waste.
Delicious meat, by the way. 😊
Awesome Place. People can surf all day and dance and drinks all night. Don't forget to eat the national dish PUPUSAS.
We ate so many of them, delicious!

Exactly, bad situations Are part of the experience of travelling.
el salvador is depressing
It looks happy and alive. It looks bohemian, hippie, surfer, I'd say stoner too but I think it's illegal down there type of vibes.

@jorgealbertocentenobermudez158 is the weed any good? It's sounding perfect to me after you said that. Just keep it on the downlow.
