Every time I hear this I'm going to tear up because of how beautiful this is. Coheed fans are the best fans. They are so encouraging and always friendly. They go to shows to enjoy the music. It doesn't matter who opens for them every time I see Coheed every one is so welcoming to the opening act. Claudio is a genius who writes beautiful music and who surrounds himself with beautiful people and beautiful fans. I don't understand any one who hates this.
I was driving with my gf and this song came up and I turned it up and sang along with it as best I could. I held her hand and meant every word. Come to find out she had been drifting away from me and become interested with someone else. and had lied about it. she dumped me a few weeks later. i am a broken man but this song somehow lifts my spirits. I still love her, I embrace her defects and confess she is my every wish. I admit that I would never feel alone once she calls me home.
you can see how much it means to him to be singing this really powerful song about love and coming home right next to the girl it was written for. just...all the feels man. you are awesome, Claudio
As someone who has known only unrequited love this song is so bittersweet to me. It's such a beautiful song but at the same time it reminds me of what I've never had. Claudio is so lucky to have found Chondra, I only hope that I can have his luck someday.
Sad I just found this video 5 years late. I've seen other live performances Claudio and Chondra have done but in this one Chondra really let loose. Like she found confidence in herself. Their voices really compliment each others well. Wish I could have been there. Thanks for this video, even if I found it way too late!
This was four days before my first ever Coheed show. Nine years and nine shows later, I am still hoping to see my favorite song performed live someday ❤
my heart goes out to you brother. oddly enough Second Stage Turbine helped me deal with my breakup from my ex. Music does things, that most other things cannot. Thank you for protecting our freedoms.
Claudio poured his fucking soul into this performance. Just beautiful. Almost reminds me of the Starland Ballroom performance of The Light & the Glass.
They did play this song on tour, at least in New York. A lot of people missed it because they played it before Russian Circles even came on as a treat for those of us that came when the doors opened
This is so awesome! I was at the San Diego House of Blues show the previous night. Unfortunately, our fan VIP only got 1 song from Travis. Not that that's not great, but this is so fantastic, i'm a little jealous!
I absolutely love the Davenport Cabinet. For me, that would be preferred over this, cause otherwise, I probably would never get a chance to see them perform live. I would easily get a chance to see this song live, as it's a Coheed song. The side projects don't get that same opportunity, unfortunately for those of us who like them.
now this is a real musician, who would perform with his wife on stage in front of others. i salute claudio, because he did it and hardly anyone else does this. got any arguments ? get in line ^^
I think that the quote just makes the incentive to listen to the full songs. Also, it increases the plot of the songs and the story. Damn, you trolls are blind.
Thank you... "We can agree to disagree." ;) Hopefully we can all agree that Coheed is an amazing band and that this was an amazing performance of 2's My Favorite 1, and a special treat to see Chondra perform it with Claudio.
Good point. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that the Neverender backup singers bearing a resemblance to Chondra isn't a coincidence. By the way, please keep posting your awesome videos. I've been a fan for a while and love your live Coheed videos.
The performance of "Vic the Butcher" from this show is on the live disc in the Afterman Deluxe Edition they put out recently. This must have been a fantastic night.
Oh my Christ, this is amazing! Thank you so much for recording this. This is without a doubt my favorite song on the album with Number City as a close second.
You don't. You buy a regular ticket and supplement it with whichever Fan VIP pass is current and valid at the time. First it was the Black Card that came with the Year of the Black Rainbow deluxe edition, then it was the laminate that came with the special edition SSTB vinyl and the latest one is the laminate that came with the deluxe edition The Afterman box set. It allows early entry for most Coheed headline shows and usually a pre-show performance by Claudio or Travis.
Dude, I love porcupine Tree, but when they opened for Coheed, I was shrooming and just wanted it to happen already. I felt shitty that I didn't appreciate PT like iI should have out of pure impatience.
People might not pay attention to the album notes to see her name in them to know it's her singing on the recordings... but at the same time people usually don't consider people who sing on an album but don't tour with the band as members of the band
I love all the members of Coheed and they are all full of talent but I would feel a bit disappointed if I heard a Davenport Cabinet song too. It's a Coheed concert so their bands material is automatically what you expect to hear, not their side projects. Also, this is just a great rendition of this song so a lot of people are probably jealous and wish they heard it too.
Not the whole song, just a line. Claudio said in the Neverender dvd that he started writing it while he was going through the break up with the girl he was with before Chondra, which is how he created Al the Killer. As he was finishing it, he was with Chondra. She was still in Florida and he was in New York recording. He added the line I'll touch it if you ask me to but how is up to you as a reference to them being apart and having phone sex. That's what I was referring to when I said somewhat.
I don't think it's a break-up album, since they were dating while the band was touring for Second Stage and while he was writing In Keeping Secrets, or that any of the songs are about anyone in particular, except Faint of Hearts, which Claudio has said is somewhat about himself and Chondra. Good Apollo 1 is about their break-up before they got engaged. She says that the album is her penance for breaking up with him.
I didn't make a mistake. I knew what I was quoting and why I quoted it. I didn't quote a song; I quoted a quote that immediately precedes this song. The fact that the quote is from the end of Dark Side of Me is moot, especially in light of the fact that half a second after Sirius says "Yes", 2's My Favorite 1 begins. But the quote would have still been relevant if they had sung a different song, because I was trying to point out their love for each other, as in, "Is this what love is?" "Yes."
You can tell how much it meant to Claudio to have Chondra up there with him
Who would dislike this? Heathens... that's who.
"Sirius, is this what love is?"
"Yes."
Every time I hear this I'm going to tear up because of how beautiful this is. Coheed fans are the best fans. They are so encouraging and always friendly. They go to shows to enjoy the music. It doesn't matter who opens for them every time I see Coheed every one is so welcoming to the opening act. Damn! Chondra's got a great voice!! This performance makes me so happy!!
The energy Claudio puts into everything, even when he's only got an acoustic guitar, is just brilliant.
And with this Claudio has written the perfect wedding song :), and this performance was awesome
This song is playing at my wedding tomorrow :)
@@willmckeand How did it go?
@@carmenpuddinpop8642 brilliant thanks for asking :)
@@willmckeand That's wonderful!! I love this song as a wedding song more than Wake Up
Chondra is the absolute cutest, I can't get over this duet.
She's such a doll. Sweet team, the Sanchez's!
The Sanchi.

Was here for this. was ABSOLUTLEY and amazing performance
you can see how much it means to him to be singing this really powerful song about love and coming home right next to the girl it was written for. just...all the feels man. you are awesome, Claudio
They are such a beautiful couple, and it's great to see them perform together. Great performance, but not surprising.
As someone who has known only unrequited love this song is so bittersweet to me. It's such a beautiful song but at the same time it reminds me of what I've never had. Claudio is so lucky to have found Chondra, I only hope that I can have his luck someday.
Perfection. There is really no other way to describe their sounds together. They are going to have some very talented babies!
Proof that love exists. I love these two.
Sorry brother, Coheed always gets me through. Thanks for your service again.
This is too cute.
Sad I just found this video 5 years late. I've seen other live performances Claudio and Chondra have done but in this one Chondra really let loose. Like she found confidence in herself. Their voices really compliment each others well. Wish I could have been there. Thanks for this video, even if I found it way too late!
I love this song so much! Chondra is lovely, they are a wonderful couple!
This was four days before my first ever Coheed show. Nine years and nine shows later, I am still hoping to see my favorite song performed live someday ❤
They should do a whole album with her!
Agreed completely
my heart goes out to you brother. oddly enough Second Stage Turbine helped me deal with my breakup from my ex. Music does things, that most other things cannot. Thank you for protecting our freedoms.
This is perfect. Chondra's voice is gorgeous and Claud's voice is godly.
This was fucking magical! Love the song, love the band and love this performance! Claudio stop it! i'm getting tears in my eyes!
Damn man that sucks... Coheed has been an influence on many parts of my life, they can be very powerful. Just keep your head high and 'heed on!
What a treat it must have been to be near this level of musicianship
Was right there, was amazing.
thanks so much for doing such a amazing job filming this =D
I cry virtually every time I listen to this
Claudio poured his fucking soul into this performance. Just beautiful. Almost reminds me of the Starland Ballroom performance of The Light & the Glass.
Definitely. "It's no surprise". You can hear here. She's also the voice of the All Mother (with heavy modulation obviously)
I hope you feel better. You probably already know this, but you have an army of Coheed fans behind you.
stay strong man. and thank you for everything you have done for this country. it'll all be ok in the end
Man that was awesome!!! Wish he played when coheed came to Houston. But Travis did an awesome job
What a vocal performance by Claudio! Absolutely bleeding appreciation for the man. Chondra did awesome with him too!
there you go, two hearts beats as one... =)
lovely! ♥
Loves me some Chonnye. We actually HAD VIP for this but got stuck in traffic. Thanks for posting what we missed.!
They did play this song on tour, at least in New York. A lot of people missed it because they played it before Russian Circles even came on as a treat for those of us that came when the doors opened

This is fantastic. I hope Chonny sings out here in Tempe as well
Amazing!
Such a beatiful woman to sing to now i know why he makes such beautiful songs. Cute couple.

I love this song. Thank you.
I love this!!!!! :)
Awesome. Thanks for sharing!
I love this version with his wife, inspired me and my girlfriend to do our own version!
now this is a real musician, who would perform with his wife on stage in front of others. i salute claudio, because he did it and hardly anyone else does this. got any arguments ? get in line ^^
They're so cute.

Much respect for all you do!

"We can agree to disagree." ;)

plz put out a 3 disc acoustic album and a cover album while you're at it ^__^
all my times seeing claudio perform he looks so confident singing next to his wife
Almost makes me want Chonny in the band as a backing singer! Great stuff.
Good point. I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks that the Neverender backup singers bearing a resemblance to Chondra isn't a coincidence. By the way, please keep posting your awesome videos. I've been a fan for a while and love your live Coheed videos.
seriously thanks for posting this man, i was there and love this version of the song.. probably listen to it once a day lol
Thanks for sharing
Coheed and Cambria...Claudio and Chondra...has a nice ring to it...I smell a sick side project
The performance of "Vic the Butcher" from this show is on the live disc in the Afterman Deluxe Edition they put out recently. This must have been a fantastic night.
MrPajamaShark oh it was. My favorite show I’ve been to, and I’m including the good Apollo Neverender.
Oh my Christ, this is amazing! Thank you so much for recording this. This is without a doubt my favorite song on the album with Number City as a close second.
This is my favorite song on the album. That or Sentry, but I prefer the kitchen acoustic baritone version of Sentry over the album version.
I love 'Welcome Home but this was a nice change
sanchez sing's with the soul
sweet! Thanks a lot, can't wait to see the video!
I was there!
Hey nice, me too!
YESS!!!!
omg this was awesome xO
I was at this show! :D

Btw, thanks for sharing this :)
They kicked the tour off in DC and I wish something like this happened. :/
Their child shall lead us well.
just checking in. hope things are going better for you.
2 now

Listen to Mothers of Men again. She's not there much, but she's there.
i am so friggn jealous of this shit damn YOU!!!
Wow #TeamSanches

ps claudio is killing it here

There are few things as beautiful as the love between Claudio and Chondra.
She's been singing backup since NWFT.
actually, it's called in keeping secrets of silent earth: 3, the break up before he met Chondra
No, but I will be seeing them tomorrow.
