@w1nw1n i am here looking an opportunity for a trainee certificates in dump truck and wheel loader. Please any help, Paul nsubuga from Uganda Kampala 🇺🇬
I'm currently investigating an entry level FIFO haul truck job, and was just wondering if someone could explain the 2:1 roster as far as when you switch from day to night shift. Do you do 2 shifts in a row, or skip one in the middle? Cheers.
Hi there, I am coming to perth from India on 491 visa in January 2024, can I start as a dump truck operator? How much per hour salary can I get ? Which is the best company to start with ? How much per week/ per month can I make in driving a dump truck?
generally to get a sump truck role you'll have to do a traineeship and it will be a case of setting yourself up, making sure you have the licences and applying. The money depends on the traineeship, roster and swing rotation. Programmed are the best ones to speak to
Thanks Emily, I just got my offer for Truck Driver traineeship position @ Freeport mcmoran in Safford AZ. This is the info that I needed to hear for pre prep. Appreciate you.
thanks for the great info. I'm thinking about heading to the mines to drive trucks after Christmas. Just a few weird questions. When you are driving the trucks can you listen to radio/music/ podcasts etc. As I imagine it's pretty boring driving a truck for 12 hours a day. Also, what a breaks like, as in smoko and lunch, how long do you get? What about toilet stops, what happens if you just need to go 😂? Cheers
You have to ride with an experienced operator for 100 hours??? Man here in Texas I didn’t even get to ride for a whole day before they put us in the seat. I definitely feel like we didn’t get enough time simply riding and learning the mine site and just the overall environment. Not to mention driving techniques.
How about if you don't have an Australian manuals drivers license but you do know how to drive manuals, will you need to apply for an Australian manual license? Ofc as a foreign national looking to join fifo and entering the traineeship?
Great 👍 motivated video.i am from UK and have ADT operator and all size rigid truck ticket.i have 10 years of experience in mining.my dream is to drive that hunk truck in WA mining.could you please suggest me pathway to come is it better to come on ETA visa and do the courses and look for the job in industry.waiting for reply thank you 😊
Hello, I have HR, Manuel licence and Compounds spaces and working at heights safely tickets. I want to get into Dump truck operator training and start working as a Dump truck operator please
Sorry to burst you bubble everyone but I work in this industry and it is extremely difficult to get in. Either you need to know someone working there or you need to get a camp utility job and then make contacts while working there. It took me over a year to get in and I was lucky as I had a relative working as a campy. And getting a HR License makes no difference.
Yeah most people’s way into the industry is as a utility and the HR makes a massive difference for jobs other than dump truck traineeships where it’s not actually needed
I worked as a security guard for four years in Botswana at G4S Limited, and also have licences to operate rigid body dump truck and Front end loader. Can you help me get a job in Australia.

If it’s 1 week days 1 week nights at the halfway point you have a shift change and basically have 24 hours off then go onto night shift
@@w1nw1n Thanks very much. Appreciate the response and info. I had a feeling that was the case, but just wanted to be sure. Cheers

Hey i am from the netherlands and want to start in the industry do you guys have experience with dutch people or is it a problem with the papers?
You’d have to sort out your visa beforehand
@@w1nw1nthanks for your response i already got my whitecard and working from heights is that valid in australia?
Too many women in this profession
interesting opinion. why do you say that?
The women get a rough deal but they don't smash the trucks around like some of the couldn't give a f...k bonus chasers.
