Thank you so much for this video. Wasted a lot of money on these tickets that turned out to be useless, but can at least let other people know not to now

Talking about the resumes as a new starter do I have to mention my past working experience?

@@AustralianMiningforNewStarters alright. Also one more thing that having a mechanical background makes any impact on getting a mining job as a new starter?

@@bhuvansharma2829 having a mechanical background won't hurt you getting a job but it doesn't really help you either
The employers are just after people that know how their mine works
I know I keep coming back to it but it's what the employers want
One of the guys that has just finished the training and started sending his resume out 2 weeks ago, he's had 6interviews and did a medical yesterday, they just want people who know how their mine works

@@AustralianMiningforNewStarters was just asking that will it have any impact or not. For the mining knowledge perspective I'll soon contact you for the DIY package course. Cheers 👍

How is someone supposed to get experience if nobody is prepared to even give you a go ?

Hi Raymond, the experience that the employers want is people that know how their mine works, teaching people how to use the equipment isn't hard, teaching them how the mine works is what new starters struggle with
This video covers it and outlines how you can get the experience the employers want

      Hope that info helps
