I made this same build with a different mythic, and i found that it performed much better if you used a few dots to keep burning light procing as much as possible. I think i ended up using vampire bane for crit buff to get a little extra dot pressure and it made a big difference. I also found that people often didnt get close enough to hit with jabs when the set proced, so i used javelin to cause the proc at range.

No. Some of us save our ultimate til we actually need it. My ultimate is usually at 500 when I cast it as I don’t need it in most fights. Good Example is northern storm on warden
why are you using the mage glyph instead of reflective light / vampire bane ? comapring the stats vampire bane is cheaper does slightly more dmg and provides the crit buff way longer has WAY more range and procs the prism passive - so why would u use the mage guild skill over it ?
I get more and more discouraged with playing templar. Don't knw exactly why, there are plenty of reasons. But the main one is that you can't play it the way it was introduced. Holly ground defender works only in duels, in fair 1v1. Sometimes. But in open world this doesn't work. Other players are either more tanky or more bursty, or too fast. It's either me with my clumsy hands and poor intellect and bullshit build, or my templar is just heavily underperforming. I run Lancer+wretched+Balorg+Markyn. 3 heavy + 2m + 2L. Not sure, you need the whole build description, but it's fine in duels. Not in open world. When a bunch of players try to attack, there is no defensive mechanism of any sort to reliably get away. Not enough tankyness, not enough sustain or not enough mobility. What I really think, is that templar should be allmost immortal while standing in his runes(big+small) for 5-6 players. I know, it sounds crazy at first glance, but hear me out. Other classes can kyte/tank+kyte this amount of players. Obviously, sork uses his class identity: streak + shield. NB is fast and invisible. Warden and necro are tough. DK has corrosive and some good stuff too. Arcanist's runeward is huge. And non of these classes are somehow restricted to 30m radius. Every time I try to counter attack, everyone turns invisible or streak away. Or else, there is not enough time to pressure the opponent, till his comrades catch up to us. Frankly speaking, most of the time I usually find myself done right before my kiting point.
Also, I’ve theory crafted a build that can reach 12,000+ sd on plar. 8k jabs lmao. Clever, balorg, scathing mage, markyn ring of majesty. With continuous, weapon enchant, spell damage from sundered, class script, and minor courage, and full medium armor, you can hit 12k+ spell damage lmaooo. Build is probably pretty mid tbf cuz uptimes are tough and ur hella squishy. But would be funny as hell to bonk someone with db after hitting 12k sd.
@@yiflux5124 I can reach 8k wd and sd with continuous 30k res 31% crit chance 40% crit dmg 2k recovs plus all the mitigation from torq and if need the champion perks like 9k pen with major and minor breach can even slap a scribe skill to go further. All you need is thumbs. 👍🏼
I wish you inlcuded the gameplay clips from the fight start till the fight end - being your death - not only the moment you make a combo, kill one or two enemies, empty your resources aaaand... repeat.
Hey brother, I'm not a youtuber. I don't have the mind to create a TH-cam video. I'm trying to get a youtuber to make a copy of my build and showcase it. I took a two month break recently, came back and fired off my first BG and ended it with 41-3 KD. It's a magplar build, no one believes in the build, players try it but get scared and sacrifice damage and fail with it. I have a crazy clip of 1v3 killing two 5 stars in 1vX builds themselves. It's super easy to play, super easy to build and has a ton of synergies that round it out to be IMO the best build for magplar. I'd love to get in contact with you to privately share the build with you to get a video done with a VERY off meta build.
If you're going to debuff someone with elemental, why not use it? That way, you have some dot pressure, plus when Balorgh kicks in, they're taking full damage. Hasta labye bye
@@MrKeysjimmy stats look good. And the new set has no cooldown downtime on the weapon damage. I do think there is a better build to be discovered yet, but this build is decent enough.
@@MrKopern In my opinion yes. Mechanical plar is still good but I like it more to attack the full time and not have that short duration and long cooldown
Archive runs with plar, and if you have some archival fortunes buy boxes before you start the run for 2k each. Because in the run you only get templar set items that are missing in the collection. Do also the archive dailies they give 550 fortunes aswell and try to kill the marauders they drop pieces too. With / After 4 stages you get everytime 2 pieces by that endboss
as someone who never plays pve it is really sad I will never have my´thics ore arena weapons . I hate pve so much I can not get a single vet dungeon done because I get so bored and turn the game of. 😅 I did the scribing quests at least and this was a pain to do.
I don't see how this set would be good for 1vX, you have to beam twice and then travel to spear and pick it up, thats three steps just to activate it's ability. In a 1vX setting, this sounds like a death sentence 🤔
@@onemansbeats8100 beam twice? You simply have to proc burning light twice. That procs after 4 attacks of every attack / dot. Often that set auto shoot when you jab you can't even see the spear coming down.
@@DragooX You're correct, I meant Burning Light not Beam. It sounds tricky to pull off in a 1vX, like a more complicated Essence Thief ya know? Regardless, I'll be trying it out soon enough. I hope it does well.

You have a aoe dot on ulfsild aswell. + You missing the extra burst now. Maybe you used the wrong signature script

i use to run elusive mist from vamp to 1vx but now yeah i just my best to make sure im always next to something i can kite with

No, you have to stand in the aoe and then you shoot the spear on all enemies you hit with the jab.

Yo check out the class affix + minor courage on soul burst. About 450 wd and some resistances from just one skill.
