Hello Mr Skip, I live in Cape Town, South Africa. I love how you simplify the word. I always struggled to read and understand Genesis, however find your method/explanation easy to understand. Thanks
The end of this sermon/study today... I cried tears of joy for these folks who are ready to come back to Jesus because I am one of them. Thank you so much for this series. This is by far one of the most powerful things I have ever seen on TH-cam and I TRULY wish I lived in Albuquerque at this point. This is absolutely amazing and I praise God for landing these videos on my Suggested list.
I got used to my faith being tested and failing time after time. Yet my faith increase each of those times. I would even pray for rain in New Mexico and the far distant clouds would gather day after day until rain fell and I would dance and run inside to watch.
Thank you and may God continue to bless you brother Skip for your amazing teaching on God's precious Word. Your teaching is blessing my husband and me so much, look forward to the next teaching.
This is really good stuff thank you brother for this. I decided a few weeks back to study the Bible again from the beginning and to work my way through the Bible to the end, I came across your teaching and it is helping me out massively. Keep posting
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The criticism of pacifism at 49:30 is valid, although it would be worth explaining what is justifiable in response to the threat. Judo? MMA? Firearms? Thou shalt love thy neighbour as yourself. I think the method of brute force intervention is crucial for Christians to consider. In an ideal world in the given situation, I think we ought to opt for judo, as this would neutralise the assailant without risking his life, and also provides them with an emergency hug during the hold-down. We may then talk to the man and girl, while the man’s anger is contained, to find out what the story is. For example, the large man may have been a victim of pickpocketing by the small girl. With the discipline of judo, the conflict is not at risk of being escalated (as it could if we took the side of the girl and started a fist fight with the man). Could this be pacifism in action?
So touched by all who came forward

SO MANY UNANSWERED QUESTIONS BUT STILL ALL IS GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH.

I feel you are reading a lot into Lot's motive that is not supported scripturally
I do not think Lot knew anything about Sodom.
He chose the better land.
Abram may have chosen that land if choosing first?
Intro is way too long
Melchizedek is the Holy Spirit! no father/ no mother- Jesus has a Father (God) and a mother (Mary)
I don't think that you really understood the scripture. He's not being disobedient by going to egypt and he's not lying about Sarai being his sister.
