late to the video but never to late to get my first pedal board! been playing for three years and this was a fun and friendly way of explaining the video! thanks man and cheers🤟🏽
Fascinating! I mean that tan line,,, Whoa! This was very educational, Bradly. Thanks for sharing. I've only ever had the vaguest of notions that this stuff existed. I thought all the crazy sounds players created were simply from the guitar and amp knobs. I had an electric guitar and an amp once in my life. Nowadays I'm all about acoustic. 20+ years ago while traveling across the country looking for a piece of land to buy deep in the northern woods, I met a woodsman and we got to talking about music. He asked me if I had a guitar with me and I said, "I have an electric guitar." He looked around at all the trees and said, "Well, I guess you don't have one then".
Holy shit--I'm a pipe guy building a new pedalboard for some upcoming gigs, googling to see if this one is big enough. Can't believe I came across your channel this way! Hope the music is going well man, I'll check out your guitar vids in the morning while I'm supposed to be drafting pleadings.
Hi there. I have the Fulltone 69' as well. In case you didn't know, there's internal bias knob inside the pedal that if you turn counter clock-wise may get rid of that spitty sound (32:12) and tighten and fatten it up a little. It made a big difference for me.
Wow! Nice pedalboard! I have TC Electronic Nova System processor which includes tons of high quality effects, but as i see, you are more interested in completely analog gear, cool!
Nice board! The OCD and fuzz are great soloing effects. I normally put my timed effects and tuner on the lower tier for quick adjustments before and during each song without a long reach.
I also have a pedal train jr, and this vid made me wanna pick up the MXR iso brick. I’m having issues with noise and, one of the pedals won’t work when plugged into it? Anyone have any advice?
All solid pedal choices. Man the isolated power supply makes a huge difference. I was powering my pedals with a One Spot daisy chain and then picked up a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2. With the Voodoo Labs power my pedals sounded so much better. Especially my fuzz pedal. It was like a whole new pedal. Don’t forget you can power a pedal or two off your Boss tuner as well if you run out of power slots. You’ll love the HOF2 reverb. I’ve had the original and the second version. Sounds very natural. 🤘🤘🤘🎸🎸🎸
I’m a sucker for fuzz. I’ve got three fuzz pedals and will definitely be getting more down the road. I’d recommend the Black Arts Toneworks Pharaoh and the Ron Swanson Super Fuzz. Both fun pedals!
Were you able to use the standard power cables that came with the ISO brick to power the '69 Fuzz? From what I'm reading, it needs a center positive, rather than a center negative cable but I don't fully understand it.
Very cool man. My buds and I geek out about pedals. What's your opinion on muffs? I used to hate them but the big muff has grown on me over the years haha
Have you considered reviewing HH Rustica? I have mixed feeling on it. Also, I'm the one who recommended Eye of Argon a while back, thanks for reading it.
Hey man! I’ve got this pedal board. And I’ve just ordered this power supply. I was hoping you was going to show how you attached the brick to the underneath. I can kinda see what you did.. but did you get it solid and sturdy? Regards Pete
@@stuffandthingsyoutube Hey again! I did the exact same thing. 3M dual lock... same mounting place as you. Mine is touching the floor though. How did you get yours to clear the ground? Lol. I’ve attached it identically and it’s pushed on as hard as it will go.
You should check out “wildwood guitars” on youtube. Greg Koch does some awesome guitar demonstrations - and he has the most quirky sense of humor. I love the videos because I can tune into his oddball presentation style.
I was really struggling to find a good place to mount my mxr iso brick to my pedaltrain and the best I could come up with was to mount it on top with the pedals…Which brought me to this video, and low and behold you are having the same struggles. Lol. I don’t tgink they even make a mount for it because it would still sit terribly between the rails. How does a company like MXR come up with such a poor design when most everyone uses pedaltrains.
I've got your p.o.box,and i'm sending u a brit od/dist pedal A roger mayer spitfire fuzz clone i built Needs a fancy enclosure, soon done I think u need one! Dude!
I like that setup. Very good job explaining how you did it and how everything works!
Glad you enjoyed it

Nice! Good luck on building your first board!

Thanks for watching! I forgot to mention that I'm running the Supa Trem Jr and the OCD with 18 volt outputs from the MXR ISO-Brick.
Sweet ...I have all those pedals.
Plus about 100 more ,its a sickness.

I've played with the trim pot a little, but I quite like the "spitty" sound. :-)
You are definitely a man of taste.
That 69 pedal sounds like Queens of the Stone Age.
The 69, delay, trem, and reverb sounds like early Counting Crows.
Recently got my new fender Japan strat and been making my first proper pedal board, it’s fun but damn too many pedals exist :’)
That looks like a comfortable shoe.
It's a slipper! :-)

The '69 is my first fuzz, and now I'm wondering where it's been all my life!
I have a good guitarist friend who moved to your town..tim volpicella.heard of him ...great board
Very cool! I checked out some of his stuff! VERY impressive!
@@stuffandthingsyoutube cool...we did many gigs together years ago..thanks for the reply..your channel is great..greg

It DOES need a center positive cable! I can't remember if the power source came with a center positive cable. I may have ordered one from voodoo labs.
Very cool man. My buds and I geek out about pedals. What's your opinion on muffs? I used to hate them but the big muff has grown on me over the years haha
I’ve never used one! I’m very new to fuzz in general.
I love my Big Muff, with a treble boost from a distortion pedal or equaliser you can get some really rich sounds out of it
Interesting choices! There is no wrong way, but I would have done it totally differently. Too bad there's almost no room left!
I can see you playing a lot of Baroness covers

I just used 3M dual lock tape to attach it to the bottom!

It's a bit of a hassle for sure, but I have it mounted underneath the board pretty well now using 3M dual lock tape.

"Oh I'm not a serious player," get the ---- outta heee.
My internal monologue is upset that you didn’t put the fuzz first.
But I did eventually! Did you watch until the end? :-)
@@stuffandthingsyoutube I didn't want to swallow my pride hahaha.
Yep, you will have the cops over soon, :) john

Haha. So far, so good!
