Imo the holy knights are a group of yonko commanders. Garling and his vice captain are gonna be true top tiers and the others are gonna be serious threats. I mean they kinda have to in order to be relevant in the final saga.
Yonko Commander lvl based on what? Nothing. They are literally the WG last resort. The Admirals & Fleet Admiral get sent out before the Holy Knights.

@@davidortiz3094 it's based on how strong they need to be in order to fulfill their role in the final war. Think about all the potential allies Luffy will have fighting with him. Logically it doesn't make sense for them to be too strong but they also need to be able to hold their own, and a group of commanders with a few true top tier outliers sounds just about right imo.

I don’t think a holy knight is beating a yonko in a 1v1 but they could all be like 1st commander level-admiral level and would quickly dispatch the yonkos CREW before jumping and beating the yonko

Dragon is the only wild card, other than him i think sabo over every 1st commander (except maybe Beckman), ivankov can handle any 2nd commander (other than sanji i guess) and karasu for 3rd yonko commander. Also they have a lot of foot soldiers.
What if the holy knights are 9 people as strong or stronger than you're average yonko commander? I mean they can't be pushovers if they are gonna be relevant in the final saga.

I dunno, man… Based on everything we know about the Celestial Dragons, I have trouble conceptualizing an Emperor-commander-tier group of them, unless the Five Elders trained each of them personally.
Shanks, Imu, Gorosei, Doffy ... 8 people out of barely 10,000 total CDs in history

@@RocksReview None of these characters, as far as we know, were raised and trained in Mary Geoise. Shanks was found by the Roger Pirates, Imu and the Five Elders almost certainly date back some 900 years ago, and Doflamingo was expelled with his family and ultimately had to grow up a pirate. Hell, Doffy wouldn’t have nearly the kind of teeth he does today if he was raised in the Holy Knights’ ways. Maybe he never even unlocks his Conqueror’s Haki! My point is, with all we know about the culture around Mary Geoise, it’s almost impossible for me to believe there’s an entire faction of Admiral-tier fighters who could have grown up in the same environment as any other Celestial Dragon.

Edit: Shanks is from the Figerland Family which is Garling family. Which proves blood is power.

I’m not saying they couldn’t get the best trainers, but those trainers would have to be comparable to the Five Elders, at least if the goal is a military force comprised entirely of Celestial Dragons.

Garling literally jumped the Rocks pirates with zero fear and is currently alive, which says enough. He is also the father of the strongest in the new generation of pirates.

The only thing that was actually told was that Roger and Garp were the ones who took on Xebec and the young Yonkos (Whitebeard, Big Mom and Kaido), there wasn't much context of who else was involved and only Garp was recognised as the Hero of the Marines, no one else.
My opinion, only Garling could be younko level, another 2 might be an admiral level, and all the rest on YC level, it's far illogical to say they are all on the same level or even on admiral level, if the wg have 20 admiral level characters or above roaming around they would have soloed all the yonkou combined already and erase the revolutionary army existence, Luffy won't stand a chance in the final war if that was the case, not all of them can be at that level.

Picking a war and fighting it are 2 different things and also The Roger Pirates pretty much helped them and doesn't even have any evidence they fought Roger. Kidd had no problem picking a fight with Shanks and look how that went and I don't thinj they can destroy a Yonko crew cause why didn't the Gorosei send them after Luffy?. Why risk going on land if u the holy nights can get the job done.
The implication seems to be that Garling gave Whitebeard a scar, which would’ve happened at God Valley. That said, we don’t know how EXACTLY Garling gave Whitebeard that scar - for all we know, Whitebeard took that scar on purpose in order to land a knockout on Garling.
The Holy Knights weren't defeated at God Valley. That's the whole point. Even told the Marines to step aside & protect the Celestial Dragons & they will handle the Roger & Rocks Pirates. Also Admirals & Fleet Admiral gets deployed before the Holy Knights do. Which proves they are truly the last resort.

This was an event specifically for the Holy Knights, who by definition SHOULD be able to defend their fellow Celestial Dragons from whatever pirate crews the West Blue would have causing trouble around the place. Only issue with that plan? No one expected the Rocks Pirates of all crews to invade, and the only reason pirates even came to God Valley at all is because a random slave they thought nothing of managed to leak the intel that attracted them in the first place. I’m not saying there WASN’T an Admiral at God Valley, just that he would’ve probably fared better than Garling.
@@davidortiz3094 The Holy Knights probably defeated the lesser named Rocks Pirates (Kaido and Big Mom probably took an L because they were yet to become the monsters we know them as by the Wano arc, but I wouldn’t dare say young Whitebeard lost a fight). Ultimately, Roger and Garp defeated Rocks, which almost certainly triggered the fall of the crew with the one thing holding them together gone, moreso than any trouble the Holy Knights had given them.

We know for a fact that Roger and Garp defeated the Rocks pirates and they ended protecting the Celestial Dragons. Neither Kaido, BM or WB has ever mentioned the holy nights. @@FREETHEBAY my goat was getting drunk with the boys somewhere on the grand line, possibly an ice mountain or maybe even elbaf, waiting for a certain rubber boy to get stronger and return his hat.
I originally thought dragon was gonna be an akainu threat, but seeing how Kuma did all the heavy lifting, on screen at least, during the RA conflicts definitely made me think twice about how strong dragon will be. I'm still leaning towards a dragon that is as strong as akainu but I could definitely see him being a figurehead who knows how to rally the troops.
I just wanted to take this opportunity to spread my anti-gorosei agenda XD I'm still not convinced they are top tiers, everything they do just feels like gimmicky hax.
