Actually the Situation with Caleb Dume was retconned by the 'Bad Batch' Showing that Caleb was in a fire fight with his master against the Separtists when Order 66 came down. He asked to join the Bad Batch, Clone Experimental unit 99, in the counter attack against the sepratists when Order 66 came down and then watched as his Master was killed bytheir own forces. He ran and encountered the Bad Batch who were not fully driven by Order 66 and fled them, even though most of that unit was trying to save him.
Okokok wait a second. Master Yoda's death is a little more interesting to me these days. "Night falls, the hour of twilight is upon me." 1. Dang I just never realized how many Jedi survived Order 66! Definitely not complaining because I’m all about the light side to the force! But it most definitely takes a lot of wind out of the actual on screen execution of Order 66. Great content! Love learning more depth about the lore !!
When you do the math, I don't think it lessens it at all. Kanan says that there were 10,000 jedi knights when he was a padawan. Let's be generous and say that triple the amount of jedi shown in this video survived, that's still a 99% success rate. That's an overwhelmingly successful operation. Like a statistical near impossibility. Plus, we can assume that a good number of those survivors either turned to the dark or were hunted down in the few years after Order 66. I think the only jedi we know for sure survived until the fall of the empire were Grogu, Ahsoka, the dude in this video who lived as a wanderer, and almost certainly Ezra (though I don't know if we even count him because he was born after Order 66). TL;DR: over 99% of 10,000 jedi killed in Order 66 is still a LOT of wind
Eh, how would all the half-assed spinoffs work if they didn't all invent some new Jedi that survived? I personally stick to the movies, and not whatever Disney makes up, mind you.
I’d like a story of a jedi who pretends to turn to the dark side to save their own life but secretly works against the empire. It’d be more interesting for Vader to know the whole time but be intrigued by the jedi’s actions, leading to self-doubt in his actions. The series could end with Vader killing the Jedi, or the Jedi escaping somewhere.
That actually kinda happened in Star Wars Visions Episode 3: The Twins. Im fairly sure it isnt canon, but it still explores the idea of an inquisitor who was secretly working against the Empire while his twin tries to ensure he either stays with the Empire or dies. Its a cool episode, and even if you dont like anime, I suggest giving it a watch if you like that idea

I can’t believe people are complaining “too many jedi survived”… there were 10k jedi total and probably 5k of those were knights…. we know 33 jedi who survived and it’s likey there are 100-200 if 200 jedi lived that means Order 66 killed 98% of the jedi order 😂
For the people wondering who let grogu out and who saved him it was Jedi master Kelleran Beq in season 3 of the mandalorian (chapter 20) it shows a flashback of grogu in order 66 and Jedi master Kelleran Beq saves grogu by taking him away on his ship
You forgot Mace Windu, who , after getting zapped out of the window by Palpatine, slammed through the roof of a flying taxi into it's back seat. It was being driven by a retired republic commando, who was almost outta license points. After a brief chase from Clones, he took the injured Mace to a priest...
Personally I’m in the Camp that Plo Koon May still be alive. Or Atleast survived Order 66 (Him surving past the battle of Endor is up for debate… but he was originally written in to appear in the Mandalorian Season 2) - Reason why Plo Koon could still be alive: 1. Proven in KOTOR plo’s species has thick skin that can absorb heat and can survive multiple direct hits from a standard blaster bolt. Fire wouldn’t be a problem then. 2. Proven in KOTOR and in TCW S1E2, his species can survive several hours without Oxygen (as his species can not breath normal oxygen) and can survive in space vacuum without a special space suit. (Other than his normal breathing mask he has to wear to breath) 3. Clone Commander Wolfe, Plo’s Officer is one of the only known clones to willingly not commit order 66 while still having a control chip. (Unconfirmed theory being the head trauma that lost his eye also damaged his control chip, Gregor the other known clone who willingly didn’t execute order 66 also had significant head trauma which could have cause brain damage and or damaged their chips to where they no longer worked) 4. Real world Plo Koon is both Jon Faveru and Dave Filloni’s favorite Jedi. 5. As mentioned before Plo Koon was originally intended to appear in S2 of the mandalorian but Disney decided to change it to Luke Skywalker in late production of the show. Confirmed by Jon Faveru and Dave Filloni in an interview. And both have stated they want to use the character again. 6. He was also very impactful on Ahsoka Tano, he was the Jedi who brought her to the Jedi temple and the two shared a special bond that’s showcased through out the clone wars.
I think at a celebration or so Wolffe was confirmed to execute order 66 which explained his paranoia. And we don't know who the Wolffe pack was with as Plo koon was also leading a different battalion
@@darknight6904 was mentioned the pilots name began with J and was a mando name also another funny fact is the Delta 7 was built for him by Anakin based on his own personal modified Delta 7
@Steve Neighbour I believe I was mistaken, not KOTOR it was actually Jedi academy? Something like that came out in the early 2000’s it was a feature that was recanonized. It was originally a video game mechanic to make that species more desirable to play as and to also make them more of a challenge in combat.
Wasn't Oppo Rancisis killed by a dark weequay dude? I know he was like a battle strategist and while trying to keep the strategy "up" he was ambushed and killed from behind.
I know this was made 7 months ago, however there’s one more! General Rahm Kota. While the force unleashed is legends, Kota’s name can be seen in Kenobi during the (3rd?) episode in the secret Jedi tunnels in some grafiti that says “RK” meaning his name. I know it’s small, but it brings hope
Hope someone can make a list of all the Jedi who were still alive after the fall of the empire. Always been curious if Luke truly was the only Jedi left knowing that at least Ahsoka, Ezra and Grogu might still be alive during the Return of the Jedi era.
Some other Jedi that survived were, Kazdan Paratus (fled to Raxus Prime where he lived in exile until Starkiller found and killed him). We should also note that George Lucas confirmed Mace Windu survived being thrown out that window in ep.3 during an interview he had. Also Jedi Master Rahm Kota survived Order 66 and survived being killed by Starkiller and as far as we know is still alive.

@@klef6287 she def died before Order 66 and Vos and Obi-Wan buried her on Dathomir, but they ‘buried’ her by sliding her body into this magical pool, so it wouldn’t be totally crazy for her to re-emerge alive in a green mist Mother Talzin style. This is what I headcanon bc her death was too sad in the book and made me cry!
@@Anonorama yeh I definitely like that idea of her reemerging in green mist and then going to save Grogu as like a final act or something idk. But that is such a cool thought, thanks for that

Amazing how the obi wan show will give us some answers and more knowlegde of the survivors. When i saw quinlan vos mentioned as one of the jedis it was so cool!
It's a shame The Force Unleashed isn't canon anymore, as Rahm Kota would be a fun addition to this list.

Coleman Kcaj is such a chad , never has any speaking roles and is only a background character in all his appearances yet still survives order 66 and doesn't get killed
Love this, and am clamouring to find out about Quinlon Vos and Oppo Rancisis. I'd love a "collected edition" novel titled "Execute Order 66" that starts with the obvious from the films and goes through all of them telling the story of how many were killed and how some survived. All In one place. It could also clean up some of the less clear stories, how did shakk ti die? Who was on Kamino? How did Grogu escape?
"Night falls, the hour of twilight is upon me."
1. Operation Nightfall.....Anakin kills younglings with the 501st behind him.
2. Anakin's freighter that he finds while saving Jabba's son., is named Twilight......
These events both accompany the Clone War's at it's beginning and end.
maybe I am a s crazy as a little green dude hopped up on swamp gas, but I can hear and I listen especially when I close my mouth.
How do you feel about the retcon with caleb dume and how his escape happens differently both ways? It’s hard to say. Both versions are really interesting for different reasons and do give fresh perspectives.
1st is best
I was so sad they retconned it
@@nebcyt-notenoughbraincells419 I think they on purposely did that for people who haven’t read the comics before. I personally can’t be bothered with them anymore but I might read the new obi-wan comic since the new show on Disney+ is coming out very soon.
@@nebcyt-notenoughbraincells419 but something else you have to remember too, and this was confirmed recently, that whatever happens on Disney+, all the movies and shows, take top priority and things that get retconned from the books and comics are an afterthought. Not that what happened in the kanan comics didn’t happen at all, but it’s it’s own different kind of canon if that makes sense at all?
@@BrennySpain Yh I guess we can mash both up together to create a similar story but still, the original is best. They recannonised thrawn and his new books perfectly. They just need to do that with the Republic Commando novels too in my opinion.
I really watched the first one last night just for this to be posted the very next day and now I gotta watch it to keep up
Haha I appreciate you watching, hope you enjoy 😀
You forgot the Jedi knight who survived order 66 and fled to Alderaan, but then died when the Death Star destroyed the planet. You also forgot PLO KOON. HE IS ALIVE! I know it in my heart!
Did you see Plo's death? No way even a near perfect Jedi like Plo could walk away from that.

Love these videos, thanks for putting them together. After Mandalorian S3, we now know it was Jedi Master Kelleran Beq that saved Grogu from the temple.
Very glad you enjoy 😊
The Grand Inquisitor is my favourite Character after Rebels , its a dream for me to have his backstory revealed
*falls to darkside over the love of some library books* 😁
@@advena996 not just that , because he was the only not blind to see the truth that Barris saw , that the Jedi were doing something wrong and that they were infected and needed to be removed from the possession of power for a while , so that one day they undertand the purpose of it and how to wild it 😉
Grogu (NOT BABY YODA) in the middle of the thumbnail was so adorable
I was hoping Prof. Huyang was the one who escaped with Grogu, he would know of him from teaching Younglings with Yoda, and his importance and wouldn't be an immediate target (though I believe he would be hunted eventually with what he knows and how long he was a 'Professor' 'within' the Order.)
I’m almost positive I read somewhere that Huyang survived, but that makes sense bc he’s not technically force sensitive or a Jedi, more of a mentor/teacher.
Apparently, according to a leaked Ahsoka trailer, Huyang is alive and might be travelling with Ahsoka and Sabine...
Huyang trains Jedi but is no Jedi himself.
12:29 I still can't get over the fact, that Master Bra'tac is now also a Jedi.
And yes, i know that Tony Amendola also voiced "Father" from Fallout 4, but let's not talk about that, as it is... complicated to even think about the Fallout franchise.
Awwwweee can we just take a minute to appreciate how adorable lil grogu looks in that picture 🥺🥰💚
In my school vr game, the demon Calibarn destruction of all ZAFT base and the merge of ZAFT into the Cline Faction event was called Order 66, which, by the way the order was given by an entity known as the dark dead
Awesome! An updated list just before the release of the obi-wan kenobi series!
still missing a few. Kina Ha for example.
@@xTK421x true!

Dang I just never realized how many Jedi survived Order 66! Definitely not complaining because I’m all about the light side to the force! But it most definitely takes a lot of wind out of the actual on screen execution of Order 66. Great content! Love learning more depth about the lore !!
Glad you enjoyed!!
Its a cool episode, and even if you dont like anime, I suggest giving it a watch if you like that idea
like the departed but in the star wars universe
I believe they called that the Force Unleashed and it's sequel. I mean, you kind of just described one of the paths you can take in the game
Lol literally weeks after you said this it happens in Obi-Wan Kenobi! XD
Well
Great video mate!
Thanks, glad you enjoyed!
Okay, the Grand Inquisitor as Count Orlok was not something I knew I needed.
Update : Kelleran Beq, Gungi, Reva, Dagan Gera(sorta), the other Jedi survivor villain, the other Kenobi Jedi, and Eno Cordova survived order 66.
"This one needs no explanation."
*proceeds to explain*
Ay it was one of the shorter explanations 😜
I truly believe that quinlan vos is still alive after the fall of the empire somewhere, maybe ahsoka might be one of the force users to find him and help him
Ahsoka is know doubt a survivor and will help keep her friends safe no matter what, she’s one of the best
For kanan though I hope his story isn’t over just yet after rebels, maybe Dave filoni can write something that could make sense and allow kanan to be able to survive the explosion so he can still be with his family
No Kanan's definitely dead
I think you're right
Well well well, look who watched the Kenobi series early. Quinlan survived!!!
No one:
Ferren Barr:👌😈
Amazing video! Thanks for making this video about the full updated list of order 66 survivors!
I can’t believe people are complaining “too many jedi survived”… there were 10k jedi total and probably 5k of those were knights…. we know 33 jedi who survived and it’s likey there are 100-200 if 200 jedi lived that means Order 66 killed 98% of the jedi order 😂
Post-Kenobi update required. There are at least two more to add to the list.
Ah yes, my favorite Survivor, Calamari Kestis
I enjoyed the video and just subscribed. I could have waited until May the 4th, but I'm a day ahead... 🙂

People complain about stuff like this but genuinely I find this stuff interesting
We all know now that Quinlin Voss survived as mentioned in Kenobi.
There was also the Jedi we encountered at the start of the series.
Yes that random Jedi that died
Now you can add Gungi to the list!!
Barris was imprisoned for betraying the order, so its very likely to have *not* been her
For the people wondering who let grogu out and who saved him it was Jedi master Kelleran Beq in season 3 of the mandalorian (chapter 20) it shows a flashback of grogu in order 66 and Jedi master Kelleran Beq saves grogu by taking him away on his ship

It was being driven by a retired republic commando, who was almost outta license points. After a brief chase from Clones, he took the injured Mace to a priest...
Dang, the cute Grogu pic on the thumbnail got me.
Personally I’m in the Camp that Plo Koon May still be alive. Or Atleast survived Order 66 (Him surving past the battle of Endor is up for debate… but he was originally written in to appear in the Mandalorian Season 2)
-
Reason why Plo Koon could still be alive:
(Other than his normal breathing mask he has to wear to breath)
3. Clone Commander Wolfe, Plo’s Officer is one of the only known clones to willingly not commit order 66 while still having a control chip. (Unconfirmed theory being the head trauma that lost his eye also damaged his control chip, Gregor the other known clone who willingly didn’t execute order 66 also had significant head trauma which could have cause brain damage and or damaged their chips to where they no longer worked)
Don't forget the order 66 concept art that shows a delta 7 like the one Plo owns crash landed on a.planet
But Plo was shut down flying he exploded
What is the name of this background music 13:17? Where did you find these backgrounds music from?🤩🤩🤩
Wasn't Oppo Rancisis killed by a dark weequay dude? I know he was like a battle strategist and while trying to keep the strategy "up" he was ambushed and killed from behind.

I know this was made 7 months ago, however there’s one more! General Rahm Kota. While the force unleashed is legends, Kota’s name can be seen in Kenobi during the (3rd?) episode in the secret Jedi tunnels in some grafiti that says “RK” meaning his name. I know it’s small, but it brings hope
If we're going by Legends, there was initially at least 200 survivors. Still wish Dass Jennir the most underrated survivor of Order 66, got more love.
Sidious: Buyer's remorse. (That was the whole point of implanting every clone with those chips!)
Loved this good video.
Hope someone can make a list of all the Jedi who were still alive after the fall of the empire. Always been curious if Luke truly was the only Jedi left knowing that at least Ahsoka, Ezra and Grogu might still be alive during the
Return of the Jedi era.
The Jedi that lived after order 66 should honestly have been some of the members of the new Jedi order after return of the Jedi
The Force unleashed games and everything related to them are not canon
starkiller is not canon
George Lucas interview and TFU are not canon
Maris Brood as well, but not canon
Mace windu surviving and starkiller ain’t canon
We need a spin-off series following the jedi who survived throughout order 66 and the rise of the empire
Grogu may have survived Order 66 but he was slaughtered by Ben Solo after Luke overreacted to him having a bad dream
