Extended Service Life. Touted as the “last set of ball joints you will ever need to buy”, Tereflex Heavy Duty Ball joints are a must-have upgrade for any 2007-2012 JK Wrangler with worn ball joints. Substantially stronger than stock, Tereflex Heavy Duty ball joints are a necessary upgrade for Wranglers rocking large tires or a big offset, as either of these factors places additional side load that the factory ball joints simply cannot cope with and will cause them to fail prematurely.
Heavy Duty Construction. Tereflex Heavy Duty Ball Joints use 4140 chrome moly for the ball and stud and 1045 carbon steel for the outer housing that provides superb resistance to metal fatigue and abrasion. External zerk fittings make greasing the ball joints easy without needing to remove an axle and helps ensure a long service life. What really sets these ball joints apart, however, is the fact that the preload can be externally adjusted without needing to completely disassemble the joints. This means as the ball joint ages, it can be tightened to counter act any play that may have developed.
Specialty Tools Required. Installing this Tereflex Heavy Duty Upper and Lower ball joint set can be done at home but it is a moderately involved process. Disassembling the axle is required and you will also need a specialty ball joint press, in addition to a basic socket set, to get the job done properly. If you are comfortable with the process and have the necessary tools, figure to spend 3-4 hours getting the ball joints installed.

Does a 2inch lifted wrangler need adjustable or non adjustable upper ball joints ?
Hi! I have a Jeep Rubicon 2007, I've been in between Teraflex Heavy Duty Ball or Jeep Wrangler Alloy USA Heavy Duty Ball Joint Kit . They worn out, I don't have much 4WD in Florida, but planning on a road trip soon and I want to make sure to make the best investment since the installation is pricey. I'm looking for quality and duration, a good investment, which one will you recommend?
Go with the teraflex the alloy USA have had issues teraflex are heavy duty just had a new set installed they definitely are good quality.
WHERE IS THE INSTALL????
