    Badam - 1 cup

    Amma, I live in USA and came to know about your channel recently. I tried your Badam halwa recipe today and came out excellent! Whenever I make this halwa either it will be sticky or very hard : ( You made it very easier for us by mentioning the correct padham. In sweets, exact padham is the important thing and not many channels mentions that clearly. Thanks to you. Now a days I am watching all your recipes and trying those out. Especially chettinadu recipes! I am very fond of it. Your tips while cooking and the way you present is awesome! Ungalloda kanivana pechu and sollithara vidham like a mother. Keep rocking ma!     I don't like cooking very much yet watch yr videos which makes me to learn and follow yr tips. Yr way of explanations are very soothing to listeners even new young generation too will like to experiment yr dishes. Hats off to you mam. Yr grandson looks cute like yr all dishes.

    I tried the same . The result was fantastic. When I first tried the dish b4 watching ur video the output was like badam barfi . I tried the dish as you instructed . It came out really well . The major difference compared to the other video is you used a ordinary vessel type but in other videos they have used nonstick vessel . I don't have nonstick vessel so your video was very helpful to me . Also u have clearly explained what is the correct state to switch off the burner. Thanks a lot Revathi aunty

      Exactly same I watched not to mention madras samayal I came like badam barfi but this channel the exact explanation as to when to switch off the burner was efficiently explained most of the channels dont reveal these secrets hats off to mam fir being genuine

    Madam! Are you using brass kadai? Generally punjabi people use these types of brass vessels.

    I love your shows Madam! Not only the explanations but your simplicity has appealed to me very much.
    Incidentally, Neengal ubayogitha vaanali vengalama , pithalaya?
    Enge kidaikkum?
    I am supposed to make this very well.But I add extra sugar.
    Moreover, I have found making.ilam kambipaagu and mixing the ground paste and ghee easier. Earlier I used to mix sugar and paste and gradually add ghee to it.But adipidikkum vaippu.was very heavy.

    Great ma.If the saffron strands are soaked in milk wont it give an enhanced beautiful color.?

      I soaked in milk and used it. The color was beautiful. I added a pinch of turmeric too. No smell of turmeric in Halwa.
