Another excellent vlog. Thank you for sharing your experience with such aplomb Kristin. I always state this, but your reviews are what make this channel one of the best. Forks up!!
@@travelfuller Started looking at your earlier vids & thought the timing was about right. Nice way to celebrate. BTW, cruise next with Cunard Cruise Lines out of NYC?
That's amazing, thank you! And that would be incredible but they look super expensive. It would probably be cheaper to fly to Florida and take a cruise from there! We are hoping to do a Nova Scotia or Alaska cruise some time soon
Hello! I came across your tik tok page and it brought me here to your TH-cam! Love the content! I am planning on coming here for my honeymoon in July. Are all the restaurants on the property free with the all inclusive or do you have to pay for those meals separately?
Thanks! All of the restaurants are included although there is one in the Enclave section and an Enclave lounge exclusive to guests that pay for that room type. Many of the dinner restaurants offer up-charge items but we felt like the included food was great! Have an amazing trip!
Great video. Did a review of the Conrad in my channel, which we LOVED and there were no kids there. Guess it would be very pricey for anyone with kids or anyone who drinks a lot 😅 thinking of doing one night here in next trip and going back to the Conrad
We booked the airport transfer through the hotel. And we flew into Cancun because it was much cheaper when we went. We looked into other transfer options and couldn’t find anything that much cheaper than the hotel’s shuttle
The snorkeling at the resort is not good. We saw a handful of fish and there isn’t much coral in the swimming area. The beach itself is a little rocky but that didn’t bother us too much. There are snorkeling excursions from the resort, but if you want to snorkel right on their beach it’s not a great option
Would you be able to give me an idea of how many points I would need to accrue to stay here the same length of time? I’m planning to go around late January and thinking of applying for the Hilton Aspire AMEX! Thank you in advance!
Hi! Point rates in January are 100,000 per night. You would need to book four nights to get the fifth night free or 400,000 points for five nights. The Aspire card is currently offering 175,000 which is a great deal! And you could use the free night that comes with a card to get a sixth night
Have a great trip! We flew into Cancun and took the transportation recommended by the hotel. It came to $120 per way. Here's the link: tropicalelitetours.com/transfers
There isn’t really any snorkeling unfortunately or we would’ve shown it off in the video. They do offer snorkeling excursions but there’s not much to see in the resort swimming area
@@travelfuller thanks so much for your reply. This really helps! The snorkeling from Conrad was pretty decent! Nothing amazing, like Cozumel, but good enough!
The room title should say Enclave. They’re typically towards the bottom since they’re more expensive. If you need any help we’re travel advisors and would be happy to book it for you!
Thanks for the fast reply. Interesting how different all-inclusives approach all inclusive. Was there anything else you had to pay for after the initial booking?
Yes! We didn't get a chance to do any while we were there but you can see all of the ones offered directly by the hotel here: www.flowcode.com/page/tropicalelite.hiltontulum
We noticed some of the tours were more expensive at the resort than on Viator or from other providers so it might be worth shopping around. And most tours will offer hotel pickups as well
This is probably a dumb question but what is the long nose-looking creature around the 19-20 second mark? It looks like something I would probably be afraid of.
exactly my point lol the original title of the video seemed to imply they were going to share how much it'll actually cost if a viewer would visit the resort@@krisrock4589
Sorry about that! We didn’t talk about it until all the way at the end of the video but the Nature View King was $562 a night for the five nights from December 27th to January 1st and the Enclave Nature View King that we were upgraded to should have cost $692 a night. Also the tax was included so it would have just been that times 5!
Stayed there in November with the wife and two kids. Not a good resort. Beach sucked and the customer service was awful due to being grossly understaffed. Will not be going back.
I love that sun behind your back. Lovely sunset. Thanks for sharing your experience.

Gorgeous style. Love the classy simple look. Beautiful
Great to see a change in your routine. Was this adventure an anniversary of sorts? Thumbs up to your choice & video.
Cheers from sunny Florida.
Thanks! And close actually, how’d you know?! We actually went on an anniversary trip right after this that we’ll start posting next week!

Great out fit!!! Pure style.

Thanks! The Conrad looks beautiful. That’s a great idea, would love to hear your comparison of the two!
did you add the airport transfer in your package ? or did you get from and to the airport with another service? also was it from Tulum airport?
We booked the airport transfer through the hotel. And we flew into Cancun because it was much cheaper when we went. We looked into other transfer options and couldn’t find anything that much cheaper than the hotel’s shuttle
what is the snorkleing like there the water looks very rough and not much beach looks windy most days thanks

Going this upcoming month. Wanted to ask if ya’ll flew to cancun airport or to tulum airport and how much was the airport to hotel transfer?

How can you ensure to be in an enclave room or in casa 1 or 2?? I don’t see it on the room selections
The room title should say Enclave. They’re typically towards the bottom since they’re more expensive. If you need any help we’re travel advisors and would be happy to book it for you!
Tell us about tipping. Is it part of the “all-inclusive” or do they expect it?
They do a good job of not pressuring you to tip here but it is expected, especially at the sit down restaurants
Thanks for the fast reply. Interesting how different all-inclusives approach all inclusive. Was there anything else you had to pay for after the initial booking?
Transportation to and from the airport, some upgraded liquor options and excursions but I don't think there were any other surprise costs!
Did the hotel offer any excursions?

That’s not a dumb question at all! We had never seen one before either. It’s called a Coati and supposedly they aren’t dangerous
@@travelfuller Never heard of it. Thanks for the response.
10 minutes to downtown Tulum
QUANTO POR FAVOR
so how much was the actual damage on the wallet? lol
1,700 for me. Leaving tomorrow. 1,350 for a week and about 400 for the plane.
$0 they paid with Hilton points as mentioned near the end of the video.

So sorry to hear that! We didn't mind the beach but the service, specifically the concierge and front desk, was definitely disappointing
Why did the beach suck specifically? Wondering about sea life and snorkeling. Think it was because it was winter?
