Extremely noble and mature playing. His playing in the Schumann works reminds me a lot of Andras Schiff. Deep musical understanding coupled with a strong technique, while staying out of the way for the music to shine through. Would love to see him take some more risks and present more of his individual artistry, especially for a 20 yr old. What a rare talent, though!
Was lucky enough to witness him play this program in germany a few months ago, he understands the composers intent at such a profound level. Excited to see where this journey may take this young man!
