- How to make a moist and velvety Apple Loaf Cake.
Here's what you'll need:
3/4 cup sugar (150g)
1/2 cup softened butter (110g) unsalted
2 tbsp oil (30ml)
1 tsp vanilla (5ml)
2 eggs (room temp)
1 and 1/2 cup all purpose flour (190g)
1 tsp baking powder (5g)
1/2 tsp salt (3g)
1/2 cup milk (room temp)
1 cup of apples cut into small cubes + for toppings (any kind of apple thats available for you😊)

I made this tonite, and it was AMAZING!! I didn't bother waiting for the eggs or milk to be at room temperature, and it worked out just fine. I used one large honeycrisp apple, which is my fav apple for baking. I bought peaches the other day, and I'm thinking of trying those in the immediate future, just to see how it would taste in lieu of the apple flavour. Thank you SO much for sharing this recipe. I've never made an apple loaf before. Thankfully I have a few Granny Smith's in the fridge that I bought for another bake but didn't get around to making. Think I'll add a little bit of cinnamon to the batter. And instead of brown sugar on top I'm going to use Sugar in the Raw. Love the crunch it gives to my scones. Should do the same here. This is a very good basic recipe you can always add extra flavourings like cinnamon nutmeg lemon juice walnuts just an idea

Made this today I dint have vanilla y added cinnamon instead and omg it’s delicious so soft moist I do sash keep an eye on baking time mine came out a little crispy but still delicious will make again but I’ll add a cream cheese drizzle on top

Made this cake yesterday…so soft & delicious! I used brown sugar & reduced by 10g, added more apple cubes & a pinch of cinnamon powder. Texture slightly crumply, did i put too much apple? Please advise🙏 Thank you for the recipe. Best regards from Hong Kong.

I was looking for an apple cake recipe that was straightforward to make but looked delicious; you would not believe how hard that was to find!
I have severe chronic pain and whilst I am a good cook, baking can be disheartening if there are too many steps (especially when I end up in more pain than when I started!). This recipe was not laborious, took very little time and is absolutely delicious (especially with a cup of tea in the afternoon!).
