Running light in the back is factory , not aftermarket, i got one fully deleted and tuned since 10k , i got 90k now, absolutely 0 issue , not even brake jobs done yet, tow a 7x14 daily for work and summer days a travel trauler weighs at 9500k , zero issue.

What do you do to pass inspection/smog? Ive been thinking of getting the single cab version but doing the delete first.

Looking at buying one soon. Any issues? A lot of threads online about how bad they are but I’ve also found a lot of good. I love the fact it’s basically loaded and you can find them for under $30,000 all day some with less than 70k miles.
I was thinking of getting one…till I heard HORROR stories on that engine…hopefully it’s good to you👍🏽…sounds close to my 6.7 Cummins..Aloha 🤙🏽
There is a lot of negative talk about this truck but if you do the general maintenance you’ll be fine
The only negative talk comes from guys that don't even have a valid driver's license let alone a diesel truck!

mine was amazing until the crank snapped in two pieces while pulling my trailer, don't add too much juice and make sure to check your oil filters for shavings and get it fixed before it breaks. Im going to be out $14-16K to get a whole rebuilt motor. mine was deleted at 20k snapped the crank at 78k Nissan wont warranty and wants $22k to replace the motor

@@TTorres1183 Nope. It just started losing power,rolling coal, and then violently shaking! Then it was dead in the middle of the right lane of the freeway. Couldn’t move. Just check the oil make sure there are no shavings and check the wire harness where there is no loom. Mine was rubbing on an engine bracket and shorted out the injection circuit causing it to open up the injection and dumping raw fuel nonstop into the cylinders. It hydro locked the motor. I really hope I can get it fixed Absolutely love the truck and motor.
Look up the the forum threads and TH-cam videos about crank failure and take the preventative measures and you should be able to get a normal mileage out of the motor. Like closer to 200k not 40-90k like most failures

They are good trucks no doubt. The 2018-19 are the better years imo although that’s a pretty clean truck and being a 2 owner it’s probably pretty good. I personally own a 2018 pro 4x all stock no mods 2nd owner and I love it. Just turned over 106k. Nissan did a terrible job at marketing these and that’s the reason it failed. The platform is actually pretty good. It’s basically a dodge on a Nissan chassis.

@@fsb_-bf3th that makes no sense. Lol. It’s got the same exact drive train as the ram. Cummins with the Aisin transmission. Good setup. Not as good as the Allison but not bad. If it had the Allison transmission behind it it would be unstoppable. Gm has that tied up.
@@Hollywoodeatsordrinksit that makes it a Cummins on a Nissan chassis. “Dodge” nor ram don’t make Cummins anything, they’re pretty much bought and installed engines. Aisin, non dodge/ram/fca/stellantis product. Same for Cummins
You're right, they did not advertise these trucks right at all, but that diesel is junk. That's why they stop making it. Toyota was gonna use that engine but decided not to use it. And then Nissan used it which I don't know why Nissan and Toyota didn't bring their own diesel in. They make diesels in other countries that are that size? Don't understand it, they went and took the comings which you know they weren't going to give you the best of the best. And it almost destroyed the company
@@scottmendoza8989 I love mine and I have had no issues whatsoever with it. All stock no less. Just turned over 111k going on 112k. I plan on keeping it forever.
