Ive done safe mode, cache clear/database rebuild, ive deleted and re-download game, even factory reset...none of this bullshit worked. Swapping to xbox in the next couple of weeks

I used performance mode and in video output I lowered the resolution to 1080p and it worked perfectly for me. Thanks for the video, it has been very helpful.

I really think it's a 4K resolution problem. The PS5 can't handle some games at that resolution output. So you have to go down to 1080p just to stop games from crashing or getting an error message pop up often at the same specific moment in the game.

$500 for the PS five and $70 for the game. Things should work fine.
My PS5 is only three weeks old and I've had this problem since day one. I've installed new updates, reinstalled the games (several times), factory reset, rebuilt databases, internet connection from WiFi to LAN (bought expensive LAN cable). Nothing worked. On Friday I sent the console to Sony. I will keep you up to date.
I received a new PS5 from Sony today. It took exactly 7 days. Sent in last Friday, the new console arrived this Friday.

@@vantewyd297 Just explained the error on the phone and what I have already done to counteract it. Then sent to Sony and surprisingly got a new console. I was afraid that it would be repaired and the error is still there (there are horror stories in Google) or that they do nothing and say there is no error. I was surprised the console was replaced.
Were your games crashing or was your PS5 just completely shutting off?
@@Adil-sv2xi The games crashed, there was an error message which you close and then restart the game. Lasted a maximum of 20 seconds, but when this happens multiple times in a session or in the middle of a boss fight, it's very annoying.
FF7 remake ps4 version disc has this error code on PS5 Slim. It won’t let you play it at all unless you “update it online” stupid as hell.
Selling this and keeping my ps4 pro instead.
At least now I know the PS5 ain’t for me.
I like installing and playing my single player games without internet.
I just bought the ps5 slim yesterday and this has happened everytime I load up any game for more than a minute. I reset my storage, cleared cache, rebuild storage, and factory reset and downloaded the games back and it still does it. I can’t even play one match without it doing jt
Sounds like a console issue then, I would return it & exchange it for a new one while you have the chance. Don’t wait too long.

I Literally bought the game at launch it was crashing. Left it alone for months still crashed. I bought the disc version and still the same problem.

From what I’ve seen since the first crash I’ve had it started late last year with Apex Legends (I still blame apex because a lot of crashes are apex most definitely) but the only other games I’ve had crash since are - Dead island, Rachet & Clank, Darksiders 2, Minecraft, Spotify and now Evil Within 2 and the reason I know it’s my console is because I played on my ps4 as well with zero crashing for hours I’ve played 3 hours on my ps5 and it crashed, yes it ran better, smoother but felt a bit buggy at least for Evil Within 2. Every game I’ve played is updated to the most recent but I’m praying it’s not a legitimate console issue and hopefully a Software bug that should get patched.

I spent 1.5hrs last night on the phone with PlayStation support and they helped walk me through completely resetting my ps5. After that, I’ve reinstalled Apex and it’s crashing still. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve been playing Mafia 2 again and it’s not crashing at all, only Apex. They told me I’d need to send my ps5 in so they could check the system out, but I saw another comment from someone that said they did that and PlayStation sent it back and said nothing was wrong. I’m at a loss.
Rebuild was the remedy. I also changed to performance too. Worked the first time. Thanks alot

@@reillydon You have no idea, initially the game kept crashing at random times so I could still play the game. I completed the game to 50% to committing to delete all my save files, start the game again but the game crashes on the intro screen. I genuinely don’t know if it’s hardware or just insomniac at this point so I submitted a ticket on both ends but still no response.
I had this problem only with one game (Call of Duty). I did everything and the issue didn’t go away. Called PlayStation and my ps5 is out of guarantee and was about to be charge $255.00 to fix the issue. Recently the game needed an update and the problem got solved. I think the last update of this game wasn’t working on my PS5.

@@Bryan-kv6fs funny thing is that the only time that happens is when am not the party leader and am in “fire range” while the game is searching then it’s disconnecting me. So I stopped being in the “fire range” and just wait or I become the party leader if I wanna shoot on fire range. It may sound silly but try it

Literally sent it to PlayStation for this reason.. after trying to contact them as soon as I bought my ps5 which Sony customer service is the worst I ever had to deal with but after a month I received it back and got told by Sony nothing is wrong with your system so they did nothing to it. Turned on my system reinstalled Everything and first 10 seconds of warzone froze all over again 😅

I had literally the exact same experience and have no idea how to fix it (I dont think you can). Also sent my console in and same thing. They said nothing was wrong with it despite me sending it in and telling them the specific details and problem with it. All of my games crash at some point, some more than others and sometimes it's frequent and sometimes it doesnt happen for awhile. What I've also noticed is that the power receptacle (where the power cord plugs into the PS5) gets extremely hot. Like it might burn you hot. I also never get overheating errors despite something clearly getting way too hot. Just wondering if you've noticed the same?
I also have another PS5 in the house and have never once had this issue on that one. So in my case at least I believe it is some kind of hardware/overheating issue (even though I don't get the overheating warning ever).
@@tommy7154 brother I sent mine back and wrote a letter stating my ps5 has this code and every time I play call of duty that it would crash. I told Them to play it, check the hard drive, and gpu. Well i don’t know what they did to it because they didn’t tell me but it works now 🤷🏽♂️. I would recommend doing that. To add on I also told the Sony operator to leave a note to the technicians saying how I sent it the first time and they did nothing to it. Try that brother it worked for me the second time 👍🏽

Так как ткм RTX у самоц игре нельзя отключить! Этк функция нагружает gpu идет поавшеное потребление через удешевлёные цепи питания! Ёмкость плохие!

I deleted call of duty and re-downloaded it didn’t work. I cleared the cachet and rebuilt the databases didn’t work. I did a factory reset rebuilt the databases and re-downloaded call of duty and it still will not work. Not sure where to go from here very disappointed as this is a brand new console. I’m sure that there’s an issue with the software so maybe I can try to send it to Sony? idk

According to playstation its a hardware issue and there is no fix, have to send them your system.
Why would changing the resolution fix the nba 2k 25 error report? I played for the 1st time a whole game, no error 108255-1 code. I have to figure this out because I have 2 days to get full refund on this ps5 digital console

Yes it should. You are only deleting the game itself but the console have a different storage called saved data and it doesn't erase that. You should be free to download and redownload without any unsaved data.
The same thing happened to me, whenever I start up Roblox it just keeps displaying this error screen. I tried rebuilding the database then when I boot the game up again everything’s fine on the main menu but when I start a game I keep showing it! this is unacceptable.
Here because of Diablo 4, tried everything recommended. Guess I’ll wait for a patch.

This worked for the cobalt blue controller as it wasn’t downloading the software and now it works and is fully updated although I pulled the usb -c cable and got a scuff (scratch) on the controller better sooner than later. 😢trying to problem solve different methods now was a hassle reinstalling final fantasy 7 rebirth and see what happens also deleted final fantasy 16 as it was glitching on the second eikon (gerruda)for me hopefully this checks out on the gamesfreezing too.

I bought mine a few days ago and the same thing is happening to me. Worse than that, GameStop won’t exchange it because they say it’s a Sony issue.. now I have to send to back to Sony and wait what will probably be a ridiculous about of time. Never going back to GameStop.
It’s not GameStop the ps5 is an overall bad console. I payed so much money for issue after issue, error after error. It’s a terrible console that no one should buy.

Gotham Knights will just continue to crash on me for no reason and consistently after a whole year of no problems! It's really distressing. I did not pay $70 for that!

Yeah this is only happening with ark for me as well. I can play it but when j exit to menu it gets an error and I lose my progress
I can’t play ark without this crash! It’s the only game it affects, I can be out taking and crash, or just walking around base. I had no problem with it til a couple month ago when this crash started occurring more and more that at times it’s frustrating and unplayable because of it. and I know wc has a rep, but I really don’t think it’s the game! It’s the ps5 causing the crash.

I play mlb the show 24 ps4 version on my PS5 & never had a problem. Than I followed this guys advice and changed the resolution setting allowed me to play an entire nba 2k25 online for the 1st time in 6 games! B4 that I’d drop 1/2 min in the 1st qtr.

I can’t change resolution since my monitor is at 2k and I already had it on performance mode. But I did all the other steps and it fixed it, so apex legends wasn’t crashing anymore. That was January 5th, now it’s January 12th and it started happening again. It happened yesterday once. Then today it happened and then it did it again after 25 minutes. So I’m trying these steps ago. I will say the first time I got the error it would freeze and crash every 3 minutes so at least it’s not doing that
Guys I'm on my 4th model now, I feel like gamestop thinks I'm scamming them, I had an og model I bought and it kept crashing , one day while playing spiderman 2 ( Riker island cutscene ) my ps5 froze, shut its self down and said it wasn't ahit off properly, I traded it in for the slim bundle gamestop had at the time, it did the same thing, I got my 2nd slim and again..... it's so frustrating so I took my 2nd slim and got a digital slim with an attachable disc drive, 1 month in and fortnite and again spiderman2 had crashed on me. I had this problem for r6 siege. All I had to do was delete the save game data and it worked.

I found the solution to this problem, format your ps5 and After installation, first turn off syncing game save data.

-saved data and game/application settings
-sync saved data
-disable automatically sync saved data

If you just have issues with just playing Fortnite u can create a new profile on ps5 and u will be able to play without the error code

@@thetrilogy7682 rebuilding the data base at the time allowed me to play 2 games before experiencing the error again. I told my sister there'll be a system software update soon to fix the problem, isn't the first time this has happened lol
I’ve had my ps5 for almost 2 years now. I’ve been getting this error for about a month now. It was only happening on Overwatch 2 and I thought it was only because of the game itself. It was able to ‘minimize’ the errors by putting the console in performance mode. Yesterday OW2 started to crash more frequently again and then now streetfighter 6 started to crash a lot now. I can’t play either games for not even 5 minutes. When I booted up Sf6, the game froze for a good minute before shutting itself off
Did you try clearing cache and rebuilding database from safe mode, and are the games crashing on the system storage or an external ssd, because it could be the ssd messing up too. I’m here because I started up my PS5 and it just crashed on the home screen and shut down, I then went to the error history and found this error code, but it seems to be working fine now.
@@Adil-sv2xi I’ve tried multiple times with clearing cache and rebuilding database. Nothing works. I even had to do the last resort and reset the ps5 and it still didn’t work. I had to call Sony, gonna have the ps5 sent back to them so they can fix it.

that why I ask. my ps5 got the “god of war” on library. I try lowering resolutions - changing to performance mode and it keep crashing. So safe-mode is my last hope to fix the error code message -if not then I have to call PlayStation too, I wanted to hear from the service you got if you got to communicate with PlayStation thx
@@JoelRodriguez-pl4nv so basically after all the steps to fix the problem on my own failed, I had to call PlayStation. I told them the problem I was having, gave them the CE error code. Unfortunately since my ps5 was out of warranty I had to pay 250 to send it in and get it fix. After a week or so they’ll send a box with instructions and some paper work. You also needed a proof of purchase, which is damn near impossible for most people. So if you call PlayStation support I recommend you ask about that and ask them what exactly a case number is. You’ll need it to fill out the little paperwork they send you.
Once you send it in, it takes about almost a month to get back to you.
The ps5 is a bad console which gives you nothing but errors. It’s hardly a gaming console as you get a shitty expirience where you spend more time being pissed at the constant errors than actually playing any game. I would not reccomend the ps5 to anyone looking for a new console and I consider it to have been a terrible purchase which I very much regret. My Wii from 2005 works better.

@@Anxiety_Asylum I know bro. It’s tuff bc all the best games are on it and it’s laggy af. I disassembled and vacuumed mine and that helped a little bit but not much. Hardly worth the effort.
Does not work, I have exhausted each option. This error crap was common on the PS4 over the last 2 years I used it, it seems that XBOX are laughing because we have drones on mars, PS1 worked for a generation with no issues, yet PlayStation cant even run a low graphics kids game without crashing, don't get me started on Star Wars.

Same for me. Tried everything apart from factory reset. Epic just kicked me from live chat when I brought up the issue. Now there are no agents available. Funny that. Works on a different account. How can they not solve this?

Unfortunately if you get this error you need to try send your console back for a replacement the issue has been persistent since the launch of the ps5 at one point they were telling people to send their consoles in to get them replaced if this error arose. For me personally since I got a replacement ps5 my console is fine unless I load up cod Cold War. That is the game that seems to bring the error.
Sony said it’s nothing to do with the hardware it’s probably a corrupt data on the game delete the game i had it happen on my ps4 before i use the same account for my ps5 to and i went into the saved data and deleted it and it works fine now

Yea i fixed by turning putting my ps5 into rest mode and unplugging the pwer cord when it says dont and when you boot it back up it should say repairing you console
