Brand new digital console and everytime I am swinging on Spider-Man Remastered then eventually it will crash. Kept going back into the game and when i'm swinging for like 2-3 minutes straight then the crash happens again. Restarted the console and it happens all over the again. It's the hardware. The hardware on the PS5 can't manage upscaling with ray-tracing effectively. Poor construction.

It just randomly appears in some games (usually PS4) with no explanation. It's either overheating or a connection issue from wifi to PSN servers. Or sometimes I think setting PS5 to 4K resolution can cause problems when certain games always crash at the exact same moment.

Got my brand new PS5 today and encountered the same problem within the first 4 hours. Even with Astro's Playroom it doesn't even run for 2 minutes before this error occurs. The first time it happened I was playing Battlefield 2042 from a disc for 3 hours and out of nowhere it won't even load into the menu anymore, without that error.

My wifes ps5 sets this code on different games she plays, but the only game it shuts down is the sims 4. She cant get it to run at all. We sent it back to sony twice and it still happens. I did change the dns and mtu settings as you suggested and it did work for a few days, but it did come back. Im just at a loss.

I found the solution to this problem, format your ps5 and After installation, first turn off syncing game save data. - settings -saved data and game/application settings -sync saved data -disable automatically sync saved data

@@basic8184 NO, I had to call Sony and they refunded me the amount I paid for COD. I deleted it and bought a new game and so far 2 games in and no issues.

Is fc 24 ea now? If so the same shit has been troubling me with madden. certain parts of the game makes it crash guranteed everytime no solution. Cant be overheating bc i can still play madden for 4-8 hours no crash if i dont enter the certain challenge or area. Then ufc 5 (also ea) wont launch period without crashing

I'm having the same issue. It started with College Football 25 and now then, it happened while playing NBA2k24. I was 8 games in (all wins) and then, crash. I'm very upset. I bought a new PS5 and the same thing happened (the same day I bought the new one). It has to be an issue in the digital game.
After one day ma PS5 crashes with new error CE 108262-9, probably because off HDCP so I switch to ENABLED and was looking for another soultion and I found it, not sure for how long but it work for 2 days now... Switch the language system to English but US version, and after reboot the console You can switch on Your default 😉

Updated Fortnite on the 8th for the new season, next day early in the morning at 12:18am it kicked me out of the game and the error says CE-108255-1. Now tonight, it happened twice, same error code.. one at 10:25pm and the other 12:16am.

ATTENTION ALL WITH NO LUCK!!! this is happening to me so i called playstation and they will be fixing it or replacing it for free if you are still under the 1 year factory warranty. if you aren’t under warranty then you might have to pay $250 for a new console. Ran into this problem after a week of using it. Returning it for replacement..if it happens again I will be returning to a new Xbox

I had the same issue but it looked like it was a space issue. I deleted my old games and saves. It seemed like it fixed the issue.

It started happening to me once I picked up ASA to try out Scorched Earth. My PS5 hasn’t been the same since. Every game except Elden Ring crashes

Same things happening to me in career mode when i enter the cut scene and after it,it just kicks me out the game and shows the report stuff
