For those who don't know... If you have a USB adapter, you can link it with your midi controller to record drums/samples/virtual instruments directly thru your phone. The Bandlab app may not be perfect, but hella useful nonetheless. Mad potential.
i chop samples and make some dope beats on bandlab all the time. its time consuming if you cant see what your doing but if you are driven enough you will find a way and i have. took a long time to learn the lay out but now i can chop up dam near anything. its not about the daw you use, its how you use it.
Good looking on this video Def learned how to use the sampler more thanks to this. Very simple explanation, strait to the point appreciated. Can you show how to add one shot drum sounds from the packs and use those on the sampler?
Here early cause I’m sleeping late 😂 time to fall asleep to this. I’ve been fiddling with bandlab or just record random sounds outside for Foley and stuff. Haven’t made a beat with it yet 😅
What's up bro, i enjoy your videos. i have a question. i'm using Android, and i'm trying to select Wav files that i have saved on my device (2 different Samsung Tablets). and i have a ton of my own sounds (IN FOLDERS on an SD Card). But when i'm trying to create a kit.. the sounds come up in a way that does NOT allow to preview (or pre-hear) the sound before choosing them for the pad.. that means i have to choose from all of those sound (that are scattered in some random order), go to the pad, listen and remove and try again. i see that it's different when you browse though the sounds in the Bandlab "Packs", "Loops" or "One-shots" folders.. you can preview the sound, and even favorite them.. Is there a way to get that same Preview and Favorite option for our own personal saved sounds. That would be so helpful, and help make the work flow go so much quicker.
if you know the pitch of the sample before you pitched it down, use serato sample to get your new key and bring up that key in scaler 2.. and make it to white keys only to make it simpler

I want to create some original music for my art videos that won’t set off the copyright alerts but if I’m using samples on my iPhone want that mean that I’m creating one track with multiple copyright credits
A neat fact I learned the other day is that madlib made the beat used for no more party’s in LA on an iPad
Yea he made every beat for Freddie Gibs album Bandana on an iPad 🤯
No fucking shot
@@jay--ceeePRIDE by KDOT was made by steve lacy on an ipad

Steve Lacy used to produce all his music on IPad…..not really sure about now

Hey, you did music about gravity Falls, Rick and Morty and much more, but how about South Park? I think that's gonna be so cool
can i sample a song from youtube? how do i put it in cakewalk to chop up, and can i map MIDI keyboards keys like u did on the phone?
I'm using a PC but I want to learn how to sample on Bandlab
Mmh this smells nice😂
What if we don’t want to use the sound library
How do you get the keyboard in pitch with a sample that's pitched down ..cause that's what iv been struggling with
if you know the pitch of the sample before you pitched it down, use serato sample to get your new key and bring up that key in scaler 2.. and make it to white keys only to make it simpler
quite tricky to do on an iPhone but best to mess around with blocs wave instead
Thank you this was honestly so helpful I'm interested in making music and I wanted to sample "RestinPussy" by XXXTENTATION 😊
Is there a way where u don’t have to hold it?
did that percussion pack come with the plant? 🤔
Get freaky on the Friday night funkin
