Good Ass Job was about to come out regardless, but then Ye said "fuck it, no skits" and cancels and sells some of the songs. Eveything else that was supposed to be in GAJ ended up in MBDTF.

At the end of the day, T Pain’s use of autotune was more soulful and Kanye’s use of it was more stripped down and minimalistic. His lyrics and melodies were depressive. I've been listening to all his albums again recently and I think 808s, Yeezus, and Graduation are his best albums. I would argue Late Registration is tied for 3rd. I honestly didn't like MBDTF that much. Maybe I just need to listen to it over again but there were so many features on that album, I feel like Ye didn't get enough room on his own album.
