The way that Jon’s t-shirt looked animated really made me think I was tripping or something, then I realised that part of it was just clashing with the green screen.
This is too much. But they'll totally respect it. My favorite song from Cudi, and probably one of my favorite of all time. I freaked out because i thought he was singing my life. Lol
This project was one of the boldest moves ever in hip-hop. In the prime of Kanye West's rapping career, he flips the script and drops an amazing all singing album with credit on all the beat production
Groovy Tony/Eddie Kane by ScHoolboy Q Diablo by Mac Miller Good Ass Intro by Chance the Rapper (for that one guy that's been requesting that track for a month)
great picks here, although gotta clarify Groovy Tony / Eddie Kane, the switchup is masterful I'll throw in my personal picks, Danny Brown - Monopoly and Vince Staples - Bagbak or Big Time
Thanks. I didn't mention Eddie Kane because I couldn't find the whole song on TH-cam and I presumed that's the only thing they listen on. If they use spotify or whatever too then they should react to the whole thing because the switch up is one of my favorites and Jadakiss kills it. Fixed it anyways
If you want to give em super Lupe then start em off with something like Dumb It Down... One of his most lyrically complex songs yet still relatively easy to follow... Its a great song to get people into Lupe instead of scaring them off...
You guys really should run into some Lupe Fiasco or Outkast soon. If you guys did some songs off (Outlast)Aquemini or (Lupe) Food and Liquor 1.... Omg that would be lit.
Part of what makes Kanye's beats so amazing is how he layers so well. All Individual parts of his songs could be hits in their own songs, from the synths, to the drum beat, to the piano, they could all find their way onto hit songs by themselves. but he finds a way to put all of them together that just raises them to a whole other level. Flashing Lights is one of the easiest to recognize this one of my favorite examples of Kanye's production.
Bit weird but hear me out, with Simon being a games journalist there is an assassin's creed ad with similar drums in it, I think one of the AC2 trilogy, which is where u might remember it from
The world is a weird place I literally started listening to 808s last week for the first time in years and now you guys do a reaction to lovelock down.
Suggestions: 1. Run the Jewels - Oh My Darling Don't Cry 2. Cannibal Ox - Iron Galaxy 3. Lil Ugly Mane - Uneven Compromise 4. Shabazz Palaces - Free Press and Curl
yes the line on his shirt is green.... so in reaction it becomes invisible and the white that appear inside the strip is the white of the album cover in the background.
You guys need to do full albums!!! I know it takes time but there's only so in depth you can go with single songs and so much you can understand an artist and what he's going for and the world they are trying to convey. I say this because I love you guys and how you pick this music apart and will keep watching regardless, but consider it.
You gotta do some of "Watch the Throne" album with Kanye an Jay-Z. "Made in America" or "New Day" would be a good one for you guys I think. Also, "Hey Mamma" with some backstory is a great song for humanizing Kanye and really shows he's not the scumbag the media made him out to be.
Kanye West - Jesus Walks Kanye West - Diamonds from Sierra Leone Kanye West - Good Morning Kanye West - Everything I Am Kanye West - Street Lights Kanye West - Power Kanye West - Gorgeous Kanye West - I am a God Kanye West - Blood on the Leaves Kanye West - Ultralight Beam Kanye West - Father stretch my hands pt.2 Kanye West & Kid Cudi - Cudi Montage
Remember☝🏼He premiered it live at some mtv award thing. It was the closer of the show and nobody knew shit before. That moment the first 808 dropped the music industry was changed forever!
The way that Jon’s t-shirt looked animated really made me think I was tripping or something, then I realised that part of it was just clashing with the green screen.
Pretty cool 😂

Leonardo Reyes yes yes yes.
This is too much. But they'll totally respect it. My favorite song from Cudi, and probably one of my favorite of all time. I freaked out because i thought he was singing my life. Lol
I came to the comment section just to ask them to react to kid cudi. im glad you sir were ahead of me! looking forward to see some cudi being reviewed
Oh yes please! Either of the following:

2. Soundtrack 2 My Life
Heart of a lion
Gorgeous by Kanye ft. Kid Cudi & Raekwon
Some of his best lyrics in here.

Yes! And “devil in a new dress”. Two of my all time favorite songs.
And at the airport they check all through my bag and tell me that its random
They would love this one, with the electric guitar and all
React to Jesus walks. Arguably one of the best hip hop songs of all time
They should definitely react to that!
Buddy Brown bump
They definitely both know that one...
It took me like a Minute and a half til i figured out Jons shirt must have a green line there lol
Thank You... I didn't notice until you said it but now that's all I see 😆
Actually it's most likely a white or silver line reflecting the green from the screen.
THANK YOU!!!!! I thought I was trippin
its a green line
Kendrick Lamar - Money Trees
One of his best
This project was one of the boldest moves ever in hip-hop. In the prime of Kanye West's rapping career, he flips the script and drops an amazing all singing album with credit on all the beat production
808 was so essential and needed when it was released in 2008. It was a bold move but he came back to rap with BDTF, masterfully.
this and heartless are the first songs i heard from kanye
Even before Gold Digger?
@@unimpressedalchemist i was like 5 when that came out so i dont remember listening to it that well
wait how old are you my man? I'm 17 and I always have thought of you as an otherworldly being, and hearing that you're young has really surprised me
I feel old now. Thanks lol.
And Flashing Lights - I found it from GTA 4's soundtrack. Them memories 😢
Day n nite - Kid Cudi( or Pursuit of happiness)
Superstar - Lupe Fiasco
They likely heard the song. Lupe fiasco is well known in the UK
but do they understand it though?
Young Thug - Wyclef Jean (with music video)
Patryk Chąndzyński yes yes yes
Hell yeah xd
faaax
Groovy Tony/Eddie Kane by ScHoolboy Q
Diablo by Mac Miller
Good Ass Intro by Chance the Rapper (for that one guy that's been requesting that track for a month)
Fight the Feeling by Mac Miller is also dope
great picks here, although gotta clarify Groovy Tony / Eddie Kane, the switchup is masterful
I'll throw in my personal picks, Danny Brown - Monopoly and Vince Staples - Bagbak or Big Time
Thanks. I didn't mention Eddie Kane because I couldn't find the whole song on TH-cam and I presumed that's the only thing they listen on. G hero fight or flight
Josh V. Faces is such a great Mixtape 👊🏻
Kanye West - Power plssssss
Im sure they have both heard that before tbh
Ecl1pse yeah its everywhere lol in video games and movie trailers
“I dont need your pussy, bitch, im on my own dick” probably the realist kanye lyric of all time
Please do diamonds of Sierra Leone by kanye
I now realise the key to Simon's heart is a good chord progression. I've got to put my thinking cap on
Can someone explain to me what chord progression is...
Paul Decker When chords progress
@@doomcity85 essentially, when a song goes from minor scales to major scales in natural way
Loyle Carner - The Isle of Arran
Paul Decker it's a succession of chords that are typically in key
Kanye West - New Slaves
My fave Kanye song besides wolves
MY MAMA WAS RAISED IN THE ERA WHEN
Still recommending Mural by Lupe Fiasco, a masterpiece that will make you scratch your head a bit lmao
Yes please
If you want to give em super Lupe then start em off with something like Dumb It Down... One of his most lyrically complex songs yet still relatively easy to follow... Its a great song to get people into Lupe instead of scaring them off...
I thought about doing murals but it would be like a 35 min breakdown lol
They should definitely do Lupe considering Drogas is dropping on Friday
Thats a good one. I was going to say I gotcha or Kick Push as an intro to Lupe for Simon.
Kanye West - Heard em say
Kanye West - All Falls Down !
TYLER THE CREATOR - WHO DAT BOY
IT HAS TO BE DONE!!
I kept on asking for that, they actually responded saying they saw my countless messages, and it will be up in the upcoming weeks
Video too
The “Simon Cam” is becoming my favorite part of the videos, all the reviews are great haha
You guys really should run into some Lupe Fiasco or Outkast soon. If you guys did some songs off (Outlast)Aquemini or (Lupe) Food and Liquor 1.... Omg that would be lit.
Stanley Malbrough I’m about to do food and liquor fammo!
Especially with Lupe's new album coming out on Friday
@@TheThirdErnest how soon? I wanna check it out
This is also the first album after Kanye’s Mom died. He was in an incredibly sad place
808s and Heartbreak is a flawless album, maybe react to Welcome to Heartbreak or Amazing?
flawless is a slight exaggeration lmao
It's definitely a flawed album, Kanye is a flawed artist
it's his worst album but still amazing
@@tuulymusic3856 IMO Yeezus or TLOP was his worst album, but the worst for Kanye is still at least an 8/10
@@tuulymusic3856 you're on some shit if you think 808's is his worst album.
If Simon likes nice chord progressions and Kanye you need to react to Homecoming!
chief keef i dont like explicit version.
the remix pls
Wavydude 7 oh hell no. only the original. its more raw
Brendan McMahon tbh the remix is harder, it gives the song more depth but the original is fire too
I don't think they're ready for the Chiraq Villain lmao
LOVE SOSA

the Revelations one? I think the song is called Iron by Wood kid

I recommend-
Jazz
Martyrs
Vibe
Bruce banner
I would say Angels feat. no name too.
Edit: hell Comfortable too. Also with no name. I think i just really like no name and mick together
They aren't too keen on jazzy sounds, so I'd recommend the waters, ps and qs, or comfortable to get into mick
