Usually, a restart might fix whatever you encounter, like the sound bug, because it reloads the scripts making them clean again if something interfered. If it doesn't crash that is. @@robertesaum2 It happens when you use a mod to increase "car Budget" (car variety). Someone put a value too high the game engine can't handle. Yes you got a big variety of cars spawning in, but memory is full and the sound can't come. Fix is to find the value and set it lower, which? i'd ask an expert

Some people have had problems with colors, you can change the brightness, saturation and filter settings within the game (when you're already in the city), you can also access the enbseries settings by pressing “shift + enter” but I don't know the options for adjusting brightness/saturation/contrast.
Try to Run as Admin, first for the launcher then, if it doesn't work, right click the main executables from the game folder (GTAIV.EXE and PlayGTAIV.exe) and check their permissions in the compatibility tab to "Run as Admin" This helped me with a similar bug.

Are you using DXVK? I noticed the cars looked like this using DXVK so I removed it and went back to D3D9. I recommend using DXVK only if you have any problems with native D3D9. But if you are having the problem even with D3D9, it might be something with your gpu x the mod.
could you possibly find the fix for the DXVK? it seems have conflicted with the enbseries.ini whenever i started the game, the game crashed. however it worked fine if i disabled the enb script in the game launcher and the DXVK ran normally without any crashes, i will stay updated with your content, thank you for sharing the mods, i will looked up more for it.
I consider this a fix to be done which is getting Independence FM working I've been digging into the files and so far no dice of getting the conversion to playback scanned music
When I used dxvk, I only saw a very dark screen. then I turned off enb and the game started working, but it looked worse and the vulcan inscription disappeared.

Lock fps(60). It fixes so many game breaking physics. I don't have any idea if handling mods works the same as gta4 or not. I had never tried it, cause i like everything from gta4 except bike handling physics.

I got an issue that when I put the game to borderless (so by using the -windowed in the commandline) that when I try and alt tab I don't see my mouse and my mouse gets like locked to the game window. Any idea on how to fix it? I had only the Zolika Patch before installing your mod pack and with only the Zolika Patch and borderless mode activated it worked fine, but now with your modpack it doesn't. Btw I installed a fresh copy of the original GTA VC Next Gen edition and installed your modpack on the fresh copy to make sure it wasn't my old Zolika Patch I had messing something up
Does this help with the game crashing every 30 minutes? And it not loading me where I saved at? (I.E i saved the game at the car dealership and when I spawn in, it puts me back at the hotel and removes my armor)
I haven't tested it, but it probably works because it's an ASI mod. If you already have ZolikaPatch installed, you can try Liberty Tweaks. If you haven't installed ZolikaPatch, install Ultimate ASI Loader, you may need to install ScriptHook for GTA IV.

Install "vcredist_x86.exe" and "DirectX" from GTA Vice City NextGen Edition install folder, there's a folder named "Redist", or search google for “abbodi1406/vcredist”, you'll find a github link, download it and install it. Some people have said that the game isn't working properly on the “D:/” drive, try installing it on another partition if that's the case (it works perfectly for me) and avoid installing the game in the “Program Files” folder.

By putting all the parameters to the maximum, the game crashes randomly. Respect the recommended graphics settings : View Distance - 30-35 Detail Distance - 30-35 Vehicle Density - 15-20
@Kalem.efendisi i can max they game out but crashed alot i followed the advice on cs.rin and don't crash as often for some reason the sniper rifle crashes my game due to render distance i think.
Yes, it does, but I tested these as much as I could, it was the best result I've had so far, most of the crashes have stopped and the FPS is much more stable, as well as fixing some other graphical problems.
I have a 32:9 monitor and some cutscenes are zoomed in, is their a fix for it , also sometimes the game crashes (I notice it happening when i put all settings max and I don’t want to turn down settings as I have a 4090 so it should handle an old game with no problems, so why does it crash ?)
Install ZolikaPatch, it fix zoomed in cutscenes and jittery cutscene camera motion, try these settings just to play the missions: View Distance: 35 Detail Distance: 35 Vehicle Density: 20
@ I’ve got them all to 100 cause it would be a waste if I don’t 😅 I think what causes the crashes is NZXT cam and wallpaper engine + especially (kaspersky antivirus) I’ll play around closing any of those three and see if things change I haven’t installed the patch yet But I think the patch only it should fix it idk 🤷♂️
You can use Reshade's SMAA (but it's a bit tricky to install on GTA IV along with enbseries, unfortunately I don't have a tutorial on how to do this), or you can configure your game in the NVIDIA control panel (if your video card is NVIDIA).
Are you using the DXVK files? If not, try the new patch version on the description, test first without DXVK, if you get the error, test again but with DXVK files.
@@robertesaum2 Okaaaay, so, apparently the game didn't like being in the D:\ drive. I reinstalled it in C drive and it started just fine with ENB. Although, after installing the patch with DXVK, the game would open and then close. After deleting the DXVK files, the game started and ran just fine. So, I don't know, blame Rockstar on the drive part?
This could be a permission problem in your Windows. One tip is to avoid installing games in the “Program Files” folder (the best is always C:/Games or D:/Games, I particularly use D:/Games), and try running “PlayGTAIV.exe” directly as admin. About DXVK, if your game is working fine with D3D9, you don't need DXVK, as many people have had problems with it. My game worked normally with it, but I noticed that the cars sometimes become invisible for a few seconds.
@@robertesaum2 Okay, a little update. It is an issue on my end when it comes to DXVK. I'm using an ASUS Strix GL553VE laptop and I'm using the Nvidia graphics driver from the ASUS site, and the version doesn't have DXVK support. I can't update to a newer version because I'll get constant BSOD. (I'm on Windows 10, I don't know if it'll make a difference on Windows 11)
Try changing the following line in the “ZolikaPatch.ini” file in your game folder: “LocalSettingsPath=0” to “LocalSettingsPath=1” - open with notepad and search with "Ctrl + F", so try to making a new save (redo the first mission and save normally in the first slot in the safehouse). Btw, are you running your game as admin? Maybe that could help.
Try to put a "-windowed" on your "commandline.exe", with ZolikaPatch this will enable the Borderless Windowed mode, maybe this help. Btw, I have the same problem when I press alt+tab with the game and OBS opened, my mouse becomes invisible and stops clicking, so I have to press alt+f4 in the game. :/

I noticed that some people had this problem, try running the game as admin directly from “PlayGTAIV.exe” in your game folder, you may have to start a new game if you still have problems with your saves, or you can try changing the following line in the “ZolikaPatch.ini” file in your game folder: “LocalSettingsPath=0” to “LocalSettingsPath=1” and start a new save (this will save your savegames directly in the game folder, and not in your “documents” folder).
bro go to run and type dxdiag. then find out the size of dedicated video memory in mb. then put put the following command in commandline text file in game folder -availablevidmem "dedicated video memory size in MB" without "" and save. it will fix the issue lmk

I believe that Z-Fighting can only be fixed by changing the position of the mod's objects, the most recent version of FusionFix does not work good on 1.0.7.0, and FusionFix for 1.0.7.0 does not fix this unfortunately, but I will see if I can change the map files.
You don’t need fusionfix, it already comes with a asi loader, you will only need fusion fix on the complete edition, this is iv so you can just drop files in your directory.
You can remove the ZolikaPatch files, or reinstall the game, but your save will still be saved in the “documents” folder. Unfortunately, a necessary setting causes the game not to read the original save and you have to create another one. I'll try to fix it in the next version.
ZolikaPatch changes the savegame folder, check these folders to restore your savegames: Default GTA VC Next Gen Save File: Documents > Rockstar Games > GTA VC ZolikaPatch Save File: Users > Your Name > Appdata > Local > Rockstar Games > GTA VC

@ Yes, you can install skins and mods, but about modmenu, not all modmenu are compatible at the moment, some say that the Zolika Menu is working, but I'm not sure, I haven't tested it yet.
I don't know about any translation projects at the moment, but you can download the X GXT Editor to edit the language files, you can download the translation of a classic GTA VC to use as a base, but you'll have to translate it line by line :(

When i installed this it stopped using my save file and it wants to create a new save. I was pretty far into my save file. Is there a way to fix this?

It don't work, it's on "Starting new game" and nothing happens.

The commandline.txt file is on your GTA Vice City Nextgen folder. Try opening the game as administrator, maybe it will help.

ZolikaPatch changes the savegame folder, check these folders to restore your savegames:
Default GTA VC Next Gen Save File: Documents > Rockstar Games > GTA VC
ZolikaPatch Save File: Users > Your Name > Appdata > Local > Rockstar Games > GTA VC
I got an issue that when I put the game to borderless (so by using the -windowed in the commandline) that when I try and alt tab I don't see my mouse and my mouse gets like locked to the game window. Any idea on how to fix it? I had only the Zolika Patch before installing your mod pack and with only the Zolika Patch and borderless mode activated it worked fine, but now with your modpack it doesn't. Btw I installed a fresh copy of the original GTA VC Next Gen edition and installed your modpack on the fresh copy to make sure it wasn't my old Zolika Patch I had messing something up
Does this help with the game crashing every 30 minutes? And it not loading me where I saved at? (I.E i saved the game at the car dealership and when I spawn in, it puts me back at the hotel and removes my armor)

This is usually fixed by ZolikaPatch, but you can disable Vsync and limit the FPS with RivaTuner or NVIDIA control panel, which are better options.
Does the liberty tweaks mod work on this?
I haven't tested it, but it probably works because it's an ASI mod. If you already have ZolikaPatch installed, you can try Liberty Tweaks. If you haven't installed ZolikaPatch, install Ultimate ASI Loader, you may need to install ScriptHook for GTA IV.

Você pode tentar editar o commandline e marcar a opção "somente leitura" nas propriedades (tem 3 deles na pasta do jogo, se você procurar pelo nome dele você encontra os 3), no meu patch você consegue um commandline com todas as linhas necessárias.

Install "vcredist_x86.exe" and "DirectX" from GTA Vice City NextGen Edition install folder, there's a folder named "Redist", or search google for “abbodi1406/vcredist”, you'll find a github link, download it and install it. Some people have said that the game isn't working properly on the “D:/” drive, try installing it on another partition if that's the case (it works perfectly for me) and avoid installing the game in the “Program Files” folder.

Is this really working with Zolika Patch? I feel like this may only cause some issues since Zolika Patch was made for the orginal version of the game and is there any improvement with it here at all?
Most of the functional fixes are for problems with buggy animations at high FPS, problems with slow/infinite loading, random crashes, cutscenes “chopping”, problems with VRAM, and savefiles, you can check out most of the fixes on the official Zolika page: gtaforums.com/topic/955449-iv-zolikapatch/
Note: Most of the fixes related to the GTA IV DLC's have been disabled as the mod does not make use of them.

I have a 32:9 monitor and some cutscenes are zoomed in, is their a fix for it , also sometimes the game crashes (I notice it happening when i put all settings max and I don’t want to turn down settings as I have a 4090 so it should handle an old game with no problems, so why does it crash ?)
Install ZolikaPatch, it fix zoomed in cutscenes and jittery cutscene camera motion, try these settings just to play the missions:
View Distance: 35
Detail Distance: 35
Vehicle Density: 20
@ I’ve got them all to 100 cause it would be a waste if I don’t 😅 I think what causes the crashes is NZXT cam and wallpaper engine + especially (kaspersky antivirus) I’ll play around closing any of those three and see if things change

You can use Reshade's SMAA (but it's a bit tricky to install on GTA IV along with enbseries, unfortunately I don't have a tutorial on how to do this), or you can configure your game in the NVIDIA control panel (if your video card is NVIDIA).

use lossless scaling and upscale it to like 6k and use fxaa on top of it

Are you using the DXVK files? If not, try the new patch version on the description, test first without DXVK, if you get the error, test again but with DXVK files.
@@robertesaum2 Okaaaay, so, apparently the game didn't like being in the D:\ drive. I reinstalled it in C drive and it started just fine with ENB. Although, after installing the patch with DXVK, the game would open and then close. After deleting the DXVK files, the game started and ran just fine. So, I don't know, blame Rockstar on the drive part?
This could be a permission problem in your Windows. One tip is to avoid installing games in the “Program Files” folder (the best is always C:/Games or D:/Games, I particularly use D:/Games), and try running “PlayGTAIV.exe” directly as admin. About DXVK, if your game is working fine with D3D9, you don't need DXVK, as many people have had problems with it. My game worked normally with it, but I noticed that the cars sometimes become invisible for a few seconds.
@@robertesaum2 Okay, a little update. It is an issue on my end when it comes to DXVK. I'm using an ASUS Strix GL553VE laptop and I'm using the Nvidia graphics driver from the ASUS site, and the version doesn't have DXVK support. I can't update to a newer version because I'll get constant BSOD. (I'm on Windows 10, I don't know if it'll make a difference on Windows 11)

Try changing the following line in the “ZolikaPatch.ini” file in your game folder: “LocalSettingsPath=0” to “LocalSettingsPath=1” - open with notepad and search with "Ctrl + F", so try to making a new save (redo the first mission and save normally in the first slot in the safehouse). Btw, are you running your game as admin? Maybe that could help.

@@robertesaum2 In regular GTA IV I never had this problem, but in the GTA VC Nextgen Edition my mouse just refuses to work.
Try to put a "-windowed" on your "commandline.exe", with ZolikaPatch this will enable the Borderless Windowed mode, maybe this help. Btw, I have the same problem when I press alt+tab with the game and OBS opened, my mouse becomes invisible and stops clicking, so I have to press alt+f4 in the game. :/

I noticed that some people had this problem, try running the game as admin directly from “PlayGTAIV.exe” in your game folder, you may have to start a new game if you still have problems with your saves, or you can try changing the following line in the “ZolikaPatch.ini” file in your game folder: “LocalSettingsPath=0” to “LocalSettingsPath=1” and start a new save (this will save your savegames directly in the game folder, and not in your “documents” folder).
bro go to run and type dxdiag. then find out the size of dedicated video memory in mb. then put put the following command in commandline text file in game folder

I believe that Z-Fighting can only be fixed by changing the position of the mod's objects, the most recent version of FusionFix does not work good on 1.0.7.0, and FusionFix for 1.0.7.0 does not fix this unfortunately, but I will see if I can change the map files.
You don’t need fusionfix, it already comes with a asi loader, you will only need fusion fix on the complete edition, this is iv so you can just drop files in your directory.
I lost my savegame and game is crashing now.
You can remove the ZolikaPatch files, or reinstall the game, but your save will still be saved in the “documents” folder. Unfortunately, a necessary setting causes the game not to read the original save and you have to create another one. I'll try to fix it in the next version.

It may be due to your gpu. You can disable enb from the launcher, or you can try DXVK.
