hi, im the original creator of the quake variant of turbine! i got surprised because i never expected to see my map getting more interest after his release in 2016. thanks for your review! Note: in 2024 Unicake made a variant of my map using vscript to enable quake deathmatch, so props for him!

On GameBanana there is a port of Turbine for Team Fortress Classic and looking at it, wow it looks exactly like a map TFC would've come with, they did a wonderful job capturing the aesthetic of it.

You know the map but you also don't, adaptation is the name of the game. *It is also incredibly hilarious to watch friends lose sanity each and every minute they play on this map :troll:*
Well, don't really have much of a choice if I want people to understand me It's rather weird how no one puts that extra effort for subtitles, as that would make the viewing experience better
For Turbine Flooded, (un)surprisingly engineer is actually overpowered to all hell. Normally you can't place buildings on the roof of the room on the walkway. For some reason you can on turbine flooded. This allows 1~2 engineers to just... shot down all three entrances to the main room for the enemy team, as from the roof of the room on the walkway, you can block both bottom floor exits (mostly) and the vent exit. how do I know this? Because I've played on the map. It's... stupid.
At the time I had made the Turbine map in Minecraft and I tried to make it as similar as possible and now that I see it, the map is 4 years old, it is on Planet Minecraft I think if you search for it it appears first xd, and now I have to make the Junction map that one day I will finish it
This might be speculation, but I think the tower added to the center of Turbheim may take inspiration from cp_orange which was initially a popular map created for Valve's WW2 shooter Day of Defeat.

I don't understand why this channel use an existing video game character as a avatar. What connection does Ratchet from Ratchet & Clank have with TF2? It's about as non-sequitor as co-opting anything from Cloud Strife to Tony the Tiger for talking about Steam Games. Is this supposed to be an OC donut steal version of Ratchet?

Turbine Quake is an absolute marvel of a map. A total conversion of Quake right in TF2. The modding community for TF2 is incredible, my god.
Vscript was a blessing to this community. Even if we will never get major updates again, we can make our own fun now
