The amount of effort you put into this just blows my mind! Also, I love how in depth you go when explaining the different steps and stages of the drawing, as well as how you show us what materials you use
I remember to be obsessed with your channel a few years ago and I just remembered now. I decided to come back and see your subscriber count has gone from 100k to 800k!! your drawings are getting better and better and if you keep this up, you could be the best drawing channel out there. I already think you are :)
Thank you! All I can say is THANK YOU from the bottom of my little artistic heart❣️ I have been looking for a step-by-step realistic 👁 tutorial for soooo long! This is perfection! Very detailed, probably not gonna come out that’s great the first time around, but nonetheless very very well done! So again thank you for taking the time to make this video.
When I draw the eyelashes, the top ones look mediocre while the bottom ones look really creepy. This video was very informative. Interesting technique for the skin texture, I'll have to try that someday.
i would like this video a hundred times if i could 😭 i cannot stress how helpful it was to learn the techniques used for each part of the drawing. it'll definitely help me in future drawings. thanks a ton and amazing artwork ❤
So happy to see you have posted another drawing tutorial! I love how you explain all the steps. I have followed 3 of your tutorials so far (the owl, cherry blossom, and Spider-Man). So glad you take the time to make these and post them! I’ve learned a lot from them! Great drawing- so realistic and excellent explanation on the different steps!
PLEASE could someone tell me the best pencil sharpener that DOESN'T break soft lead as it sharpens ? Someone was raving about one recently, but like an idiot I didn't take details at the time ?!
Eyes are something every real artist i dont think will ever tire of drawing! Your truly an immaculate humble human being! Love everything you produce! ❤
This was absolutely the BEST, most enjoyable tutorial I have seen out of the maybe 25 I have watched. Thank you for sharing your gift and giving me inspiration and expert tips! Keep on posting please!!
I’d love to follow this great tutorial of my own soon. But I need to find the time for it. Your tutorial is great! I love watching your video’s. You are crazy skilled!!! Keep it up!!
Hey my friend, I just wanted to thank you for this tutorial. Easy to follow and excellent explanations and tips. I haven't drawn in many years, but I followed along, and I am proud of what I accomplished! Thanks again!
This is wonderful. I admire your skill and it's great how you are able to explaine your process in a really simple but also very relatable way. It really helps a lot. Have you ever considered teaching a class on skillshare? Keep up the wonderful work! Always looking forward to your video's.
@@LethalChris1 it really is. I didn't follow it today but I don't think I would have a lot of problem doing so at my desk. Mind you it probably wouldn't be as good as your drawing because I haven't had a lot of practice but I think if I take my time I might be able to at least do a somewhat decend job ☺ so I'll definatly will try it out.
Are you using a reference photo? Let me say… you weren’t kidding about it being realistic, I was blown away. It will take some time to get mine to look like yours but thanks for the tutorial, cheers! Edit: you answered my question in the video but, I was wondering if you could give an estimate on how long you think this took? I am so impatient with my art, something I need to learn and watching you gives me sense of what kind of timeline, ya know. Ok, thanks for listening to me go on and on hehe.
Also lucky today I was searching how to draw a pine tree just to get some new ideas and I came across your site and I'm very impressed I will be visiting you quite often now. And you have a nice day yourself Sharon
Thank you so very much for sharing your gift!!! I appreciate you from the bottom of my heart! Your video is so detailed and I like the fact that you let us know not only what your are doing, but why you are doing it. You are so talented and I am super thankful I found your video/channel. I look forward, if you allow, to learning so much more from you. Thank you again!!!
I really wish you guys (TH-cam tutorials in general) would do more of these in real time. (Yes I know I can slow it down), I want to see if this took you 30 minutes, 45 minutes, or an hour (or more) to complete this.
Good to see you're back in action. ^^ I have a question. (No rhyme intended). When you do your darker shadows and shading in general. Do you go with your gut or do you always have a clear structure. By going with your gut I mean having a general idea but well... going with your gut. ^^'
Terrific tutorial, can you list your products, especially the type of mechanical eraser? mine didn't want to erase to fine and cleanly as yours, also, my graphite wasn't as dark.
I have a question, what is the sketchbooks you normally use for like smaller art pieces? I got myself some Arteza sketchbooks that work great, but not exactly the thickness I like due to alcohol markers and water colors.
I have been drawing everyday for like 20 minutes for the last 8 years and im 20 rn, I just dont get the detail you have. I cant get the contrast you can get in your. When i draw i make just big blotches of lead on the paper and it either is way too dark or too light. it just looks like an entire grey drawing thats a mess but i cant go any darker to make any details. i have a 8B pencil and cant get dark enough. What do i do
Dear Chris, thank you for sharing your beautiful art. I learn a lot from you. Your pencils are so black on the paper!! My graphite pencils stays a form of grey no matter how many layers. What to do or by to solve that? Greatings from Rie in Denmark
you draw the whole eye as it is including the vain but I wanted more of the beautiful side of the eye like… more specific brown, or blue eyes … other then that I love itis real looking eyes. Specifically the water lines is my favourite part masterpiece
I'm 7 minutes almost 8 minutes into the drawing. So far it looks pretty damn good! But the ending is making me worry a little bit 😅. Eyelashes or anything super curvature is very difficult for me. Any tips would be phenomenal!
When I use blending sticks on a drawing I feel like a makeup artist it’s very fun 🙃
😂😂😂
The amount of effort you put into this just blows my mind!
Also, I love how in depth you go when explaining the different steps and stages of the drawing, as well as how you show us what materials you use
Nice
Yes! We must appreciate that. Thank you for the channel
Me: "yeah, that part is done, it's good, you there is nothing more you can add..."
Chris: **adds even more details**
Could you do a compilation of all the red caped character drawings? I would like to write a story.

Man I was for the past years I was struggling to make a realistic eye and when I saw this tutorial my mind was blown I appreciate you!
Eye wanted to make a pun but eye couldn’t see a opportunity

P.s. I just LOVE this new " hyper realism movement, I'm hoping to re train myself. The detail is just unbelievable.
Your skills are just off the chart! The detail is just incredible! Beautiful work!

Happy Teacher's Day. And thanks for your tutorials.
Finally saw how to draw skin texture thank you.🥰
Do you always reference any images when drawing?

So much detail. Not sure my skills are up to duplicating what you did, but I'm going to give it a go at least...

unfortunately I didn't have the correct eraser or gel pen so I feel like I could have done better but you actually made it easy for me thank you!
Bro how did your tombow eraser was able to clear the dark graphine so clear? I'm using the same eraser and its really hard to do it.
Niceeee. Do more tutorials about features

Looks very real.
It’s so detailed I think it’s more hyperrealism rather than realism
Fabulous drawing I'm impressed with your talent.
“Drawring”🥰
It was an amazing work. Congratulations. I also work in portraits. In my last video, I drew eyes. Drawing is like therapy👏👏
This is sooooo awesome!!
outstanding detail, how hard is it to match the other eye?
very nice . I was trying . what kind of white pencil / white pen r u using to draw over pencil or charcoal
I tried it.. can’t say it looks as good as yours though😅 don’t have the right tools but it was fun! Thank you
Which pencil you use bro
Cool you made the eye from the front of the goldfaber set
Awesome !!!!
Please do more pencil drawings🙏🙏🙏

Can you draw cabins I can’t get it right .
Can you make a tutorial on how to draw lion
This is amazing thank you so much for this !!!
What camera lens do you use to get so close to your drawings?
I have a question, what is the sketchbooks you normally use for like smaller art pieces? I got myself some Arteza sketchbooks that work great, but not exactly the thickness I like due to alcohol markers and water colors.

How on earth do you get such clean crisp lines with the eraser?????
there is just one doubt
when I used the 6b pencil it doesn't look as dark as shown in video
I have used the right paper as well
Dear Chris, thank you for sharing your beautiful art. I learn a lot from you. Your pencils are so black on the paper!! My graphite pencils stays a form of grey no matter how many layers. What to do or by to solve that? Greatings from Rie in Denmark
you are the best
What type of paper is best for drawing
I think just from a sketchbook
Could you do a coloured pencil version ?
Very impressive and beautiful drawing. Very realistic drawing results. I am your new friend and I just subscribe you my friend 🤝😍
Does it cost koney to subscribe please ? I'm a re training myself ex Pencil Portrait Artist who knows realises that I used to finish, YOU START !!!
How long did the drawing take you in real time Chris?
you draw the whole eye as it is including the vain but I wanted more of the beautiful side of the eye like… more specific brown, or blue eyes … other then that I love itis real looking eyes. Specifically the water lines is my favourite part masterpiece

When I see how many times he uses eraser to correct mistakes I think that I’m not the only one who uses eraser so many times
Wow.
