    mulch has its place brush under over cover fire blank moister holding but if poss new mulcher should 1st cut any thing 5" or more safe feed limit into fire wood. mulching is your other machine or u need to cut clean it up a bit b4 throwing in1 or other machine. bigger than 12" sawing just chop it up your self or mulch kinging the ground on logging sight.

    How does it do on lawns? How is the service and part accessibility?

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      When operating on lawns you just have to be mindful you’re on tracks and not wheels.

    Great work combination of machines! The mini skid needs a swivel grapple for more user friendly for your type of work! I like the size and balance of the machine. I could easily use it in landscaping. What price range is it in? Has me interested in getting several for the future jobs I have coming up!

      A swivel grapple is definitely on the list of attachments I’d like! There are a few different models, this one (c1500) being the largest is in the mid $30k range depending on how it’s configured. The loader portion can also be totally removed to allow for self loading dumpers, cement mixers, aerial lifts, and more making it even more versatile.

    Do the trackz help get the brush in the chipper at a angle?

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes I think so. Because you can pivot the ends directly into the feed wheels of the chipper unlike the wheeled tractor.

    You are getting good with that thing. I am amazed, thought it was a toy at first. I was wrong. I am not a fan of chipping all that firewood!

      Thanks Guerry! It’s definitely still a toy, but one that helps get the job done! 💪🏼

    Why on earth aren’t you making firewood out of those larger branches especially if they’re oak ? I have to admit that machine with the grapple added to it is sure making life easier for you guys.

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We saved as much of the wood as the customer wanted for firewood. Not worth my time and all the back and forth to bring those few logs back to the woodyard! The Cormidi is awesome, the maneuverability is what helps the most I think!

      If I saved all of those little poles I’d be up to my ears in logs. I have unlimited access to wood, the really little stuff isn’t really worth my time/expense.

    Surprise y'all chipped the bigger wood being you sell wood but then again I give alot away aswell when heat of summer gets here. I have a list of guys that if come get off job sit it free

    • @DudeRanchDIY
      @DudeRanchDIY  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We left some of the logs for the homeowner to cut up as firewood. Just isn't really worth my time with all the back and forth to bring the wood back to the yard if its not a full load.

    31: we need a machine thar feed just so thru control holes so it cuts up any wood branches 5" thick or large in too firewood not all just quick mulched. So every 1 on my earth back using wood feeding or cheese powder wood powder log wedges see old comment into wood boilers again every fuck person on earth. Even in nat gas propane de tuned hydrogen world u need to use that for transport while safely clean up planet/our humanity back yard.
