I purchased a really nice used 743 with the V2203 swap in very good condition to use as a homeowner. I really don't see myself ever being able to break it living on 5 wooded acres. I can honestly see myself breaking or bending that thing doing what I use my skid for. It would be great for my garden though

Great video. I’ve been looking at mini excavators but now I’m thinking a skid steer might suit me. Looks nice. I own a small HYSOON machine similar to this that I got about a year ago. I don't have any attachments yet though... What I don't understand is the load capacity on yours is rated at 390KG, mine is only rated at 200KG despite being similar weighted machines. Mine does not have counter-weights though, so that probably gains you an extra 100KG or so, but I think your lift capacity may be over stated.
Great question. I plan to make a video and test out how much it can pick up. Get some real world numbers. I have never heard of Hysoon, where do you purchase it? Inhighly recommend some attachments. Amazing what this can do!

As I said before, thank you for taking the time to post content about your purchase. As per your feedback, I was able to contact Derette directly and I have been in correspondence with them. Derette has answered the shipping and logistics concerns that I had, as well as other questions and concerns about the machine and attachments. I have looked online and it appears that you are the only person that I have seen that has a unit specifically from Derette. I am looking forward to more videos of you using the other attachments that you purchased. Your feedback will help me make my final decision, as to what manufacture and specifically, what unit and attachments I will buy. Thank you so much for taking time out of your day, to pass on feedback from your experience. I'm patiently looking forward to more content. Thank you and stay safe.
Thank you. Yeah, I had trouble finding other people that had purchased from Derette. A local dealer here sells this machine and others. So I went on a mission to find the manufacturer. Derette manufactured them. They has been selling to resellers for awhile, and now they want to sell retail to end users. So there aren’t many people out there why has purchased from them. I will update videos on the attachments as I go!
I didn’t need it nor have I ever encountered anyone who has. Yet it sounds like a good idea to have extra insurance. I used a credit card as well. Also alibaba charges an extra 2.9% to use a credit card.
Cool video, fellow okie here 🫡 I just bought a mini skid at enlow tractor auction yesterday. Wanted to buy a skidder too but I think you confirmed I need the skidder as well. Good video man. Subbed for sure
New subscriber here, I like the new mini skid steer. I have been watching a lot of mini excavator videos and yours popped up on my to watch list. With those two pieces of equipment you have, there isn't to many jobs you can't do. You can't even buy a used name brand machine for what you have in both pieces new. Can't wait to see what all the attachments can do. I know were not neighbors but if you want to load up and come to Indiana you could take care of a few projects I need done. 😂
Hahaha. Indiana is a little far from me. Not today, maybe tomorrow. lol Yeah, I figure that with these machines I can do almost anything that the average homeowner could imagine. And the price for everything is certainly cheaper than a big name American brand.
Maybe I missed it. However, how much did this cost (total, including any input and shipping)? Did you have to arrange shipping yourself? If you arranged shipping how much of a hassle was that?
Thanks. I plan to. My plan is to do a video on each attachment. I’m spending the weekend at my cabin property and I brought the 4in1 with me. Maybe I can find some good stuff to do with it. I do need to move some rocks and logs.
And now today I dropped the 4in1 while moving it with the leveler off the trailer and busted a fitting so I couldn’t even use it today. Stupid me. I’ll have it fixed later this week.
True. Not much to get into. Everything is sealed up front. Hydraulic oil tank, the pumps, and a battery. The machine was about $8500 shipped to me with a bucket.
Thay thing is built really robust, I've never seen such quality come out of China. Just the facts that the tracks use a threaded tensioners and the drive motors are up high are good design principles. Making a machine that is cheap to maintain and low tech parts and components are all good selling features which western countries just don't get.
@@OurLifeInTrees Thank You. Because When I have gone to order stuff like that, the Selling Price may be $5,000 but they forget to add all the Fees, Taxes, Shipping.. And by the time they do and you are ready to pay, that $5,000 is Now $10,000 or more... Just like all these Prebuilt Sheds that ( example only but true ) SELL for $10,000 Cash, By the time you get done paying it off on THEIR 1 of 2 Payment Plans, you have Spent Between $22,000 & $28,000... And when you ask about it on their Channel, Page, Site, They tell you to F' off and Block you.. Anyway, Thank you again.. I Can actually look into getting one now.. Peace!
It looks like it’s 2 inches off the ground, I have Rocks on my property. Doesn’t look like it’ll work for me or does it raise for better ground clearance?
As long as Derette is around, it takes a week or two to get parts. The motors are a dime a dozen online. I googled the part numbers on mine and they are all over. eBay is a simple one. The valves are made by an Italian company. The pumps are Parker pumps. The hoses can be made anywhere. It all seems easy to find so far.
I 2nd that on the intro. Well done. The rest of the video was good too. My mini skid has the same lights. I find them to be too brightly focused. I'll be changing mine to flood lights. I swapped flood lights onto my mini ex and love them. I'm curious if you think flood lights would suit your needs better also?
Thanks. I appreciate it. I just moved it tonight after dark and yeah, I agree with you. They are very bright but very focused. It would be better if they had a wider light pattern like a flood light. Maybe I’ll look into doing that as well.
@OurLifeInTrees These are the ones I put on my mini ex. I made a 2nd mount on the left side of the boom. One light is pointed lower than the other, created a nice even light pattern. No glaring hot spots.
I bought a small, I think 21”, light bar to mount to my cage just under the roof of my mini excavator. I mounted it, but still need to wire it in. These would be awesome as well. I might change my plan. Thanks for your help.
Most of the parts are. Engine, pumps, values, etc. hoses can be made at a hydraulic hose shop if needed. As of now, Derette has everything in stock and it can be here within 1 - 2 weeks.
Cool! I've never seen a mini, first time for everything. MY QUESTION for you is: how much weight can it pick up with forks or a grapple attachment, if available? I'm looking for something that can lift logs onto a sawmill, roughly/at the most 3000 lbs. Will this handle it?
@@OurLifeInTreesit doesn’t make sense why you wouldn’t cover that in this video unless you’re really just trying to stretch the content of an unboxing-use in field-and financial part of the same equipment into three videos. Sounds like a view grab to me.

Checking the link in your description. The ad has a B&S engine not a Honda as you demonstrated. Are there other differences from the one you've shown? Thx
The link is for the DRT450. When you talk to the salesman, Dean, he can set it up the way you want. I opted for the Honda engine and changed a few things around from the Alibaba listing, it all reflected on my paperwork and invoice. They are willing to make changes since they are the manufacturer.
@@OurLifeInTrees I wonder if they would be willing to change the controls to ISO standards? so that the left joy stick controls both tracks forward, backward and left and right.
The questions most have is how much did it cost? How long to get is it shipped to your house?
It was about $8500 shipped to me in Oklahoma. Took about 2 months
That actually looks rather nice
That’s what I thought! So far so good!!!!
in your opinion, do i need trade assurance? I'm planning on buying from Dean with a credit card
I can relate. I got a mini excavator last year and now the skid. Both are awesome. You got the orange AGT?
New subscriber here, I like the new mini skid steer. I have been watching a lot of mini excavator videos and yours popped up on my to watch list. With those two pieces of equipment you have, there isn't to many jobs you can't do. You can't even buy a used name brand machine for what you have in both pieces new. Can't wait to see what all the attachments can do. I know were not neighbors but if you want to load up and come to Indiana you could take care of a few projects I need done. 😂
Hahaha. Indiana is a little far from me. Not today, maybe tomorrow. lol
Yeah, I figure that with these machines I can do almost anything that the average homeowner could imagine. And the price for everything is certainly cheaper than a big name American brand.
Maybe I missed it. However, how much did this cost (total, including any input and shipping)? Did you have to arrange shipping yourself? If you arranged shipping how much of a hassle was that?
Do you know is the skid steer with the rato engine is a 3 pump machine as well?
Actually good video quality!
Thank you. I appreciate the feedback.
Great video! Do a video on the 4 in 1 bucket.
Thanks.
Great video, on the Alibaba link are 6 load rate options 1 to 6 TON, which one you have?
I’m not sure what that means. My machine weighs like 2500lbs.
Can you do a review on mammoth machinery skid steers I’ve heard they are good.
Never heard of them. Where are they located?
How much for the unit and how much for accessories. Wish you made a To the Point video.
$8500 shipped to me in Oklahoma for the machine and $8k for all the attachments shipped.
a fun toy, saves a lot of back muscle.
Agreed!!!
Your videos are very helpful! Thank you for the product reviews. Ill be picking up my YH20D soon from KYMRON. Im a bit nervous
I’m glad they help. Me need to be. Nervous about a Kymron machine. They are solid.
I wish you would have said how much you paid for it. Good video tour tho.
Thank you. It was about $8500 shipped to me in Oklahoma.
Since the hood is perforated for cooling, dirt from load bucket might get in. Humbug. A review good Thanks.
And cost of purchase?
True. Not much to get into. Everything is sealed up front. Hydraulic oil tank, the pumps, and a battery.
The machine was about $8500 shipped to me with a bucket.
I like the intro music, it sounds like pilotredsun music.
Thanks. Haha
Hi I need a recommendation I'm going to try to get one can you give me any advice if order extra parts thank you for the video
I appreciate it. I got some extra hydraulic hoses with mine. Good to have for sure.
Like your video it was well explanatory....about how much did that model with honda engine cost you....I'm thinking of buying one thank you
I paid about $8500 shipped to me here in Oklahoma City.
How r the attachments run
@@dewaynedavis3082 I paid about $8k for all the attachments because I needed a separate crate for them all.
@@dewaynedavis3082the attachments were another $8k shipped to me. I bought 8 attachments and many large, so they needed to be crates separately.
Don’t look like it has alot of ground clearance???.., cool little unit though.
Not a lot, but enough for most tasks. It’s 5” of ground clearance.
Appreciate the video man! I'm seriously considering buying some of these machines to grow my landscaping business.
It’s so much better than a shovel!! lol
I’d recommend it. Thank you.
Have you considered hooking a firewood processor to this machine? I wonder if it would work?
They sell a log splitter for it. I did think about it but figured I bought enough toys. lol
Thay thing is built really robust, I've never seen such quality come out of China. Just the facts that the tracks use a threaded tensioners and the drive motors are up high are good design principles. Making a machine that is cheap to maintain and low tech parts and components are all good selling features which western countries just don't get.
I agree. The simplicity is great. That means normal guys like myself can work on them and don’t have to spend a fortune at a stealership
Did I hear you say you got it in oklahoma? If so where I'm out of Oklahoma and I would love to go see one of these
I had it shipped from China to Oklahoma. I live in the OKC area.
that intro edit went hard
Hahaha. That’s what I said!!! Not everyone is so accepting. lol
i feel violated
Hahaha. The music violated you? Lol
@@OurLifeInTrees yep very deeply
Derette is built by Infront
Did/Does the Price Include Transport/Shipping Fees and Import Tax and all that Fun Stuff that Costs Money??
Yes. The DDP shipping cost includes all of that. DDP was $2200 from China to me in Oklahoma.
Peace!
@@ravenloranswow. That shed sounds like a bad deal. I didn’t have that experience with this unit at all.
It looks like it’s 2 inches off the ground, I have Rocks on my property. Doesn’t look like it’ll work for me or does it raise for better ground clearance?
It has about 4 inches in the front and 5” in the rear.
Any reason you didnt get the 480? Opposed to the 450..
I like the look of the 450 and thought it would be cool for TH-cam. lol
I don’t really need the wheel option, but would like the faster speed.
How do you find parts and service (for everything except the Honda engine)? Thanks!
Where did you order your mini excavator from and for how much?
The minister I bought from K&R equipment here in Oklahoma. The mini skid I ordered from Derette in China
EXZEIT 36W Backup Lights, 150° Flood Reverse Light, 4.4 Inch Cpmpatible for Truck Polaris Tractor Golf Cart UTV ATV, 12/24V
I bought a small, I think 21”, light bar to mount to my cage just under the roof of my mini excavator. I mounted it, but still need to wire it in. These would be awesome as well. I might change my plan. Thanks for your help.
Are parts, hoses etc. readily available?
Most of the parts are. Engine, pumps, values, etc. hoses can be made at a hydraulic hose shop if needed. As of now, Derette has everything in stock and it can be here within 1 - 2 weeks.
Cool! I've never seen a mini, first time for everything. MY QUESTION for you is: how much weight can it pick up with forks or a grapple attachment, if available? I'm looking for something that can lift logs onto a sawmill, roughly/at the most 3000 lbs. Will this handle it?
Think I found my answer...no.
It is supposed to be able to lift up to 1000lbs. I haven’t verified this, but it only weighs 2500lbs, so 3000lbs is out on this machine.
So what does such a machine cost?🙂 Or is if needing to ask, stick to a plain shovel?
Hahaha. A shovel is cheaper for sure. It was around $8500 shipped to me in Oklahoma. The attachments were around another $8k shipped.
@@OurLifeInTrees Thanks 🙂Sounds very affordable 👍
Compared to almost anything else, yes. I looked a getting a small Kubota tractor and this is so much cheaper than even that.
How well does it do on steep and rough terrain
It seems to do ok on hills, takes some getting used to for sure. I haven’t really don’t much rough terrain, but what I have done seemed good
You’re doing a great job showing us how good it is, but you haven’t told us how much it cost to order from Alibaba and the process
I plan to have the one coming soon. In hindsight, should have done that one first.
@@OurLifeInTreesit doesn’t make sense why you wouldn’t cover that in this video unless you’re really just trying to stretch the content of an unboxing-use in field-and financial part of the same equipment into three videos. Sounds like a view grab to me.
Great video. How much is the total price of that
Thank you. I paid about $8500 shipped to me here in Oklahoma plus another $8k for all my attachments as they had to be crated separately.
What did you pay for everything otd?
The machines was about $8500 shipped to me in Oklahoma and the attachments were another $8k shipped to me.
what all attachments did you get ?
@@evan3178 I got the large bucket with teeth, 4in1 bucket, grapple, trencher, auger with 8” bit, land leveler, trailer hitch, brush cutter, and stump grinder. They cost about $8k to have shipped from China to Oklahoma.

@@evan3178Thanks for watching. We will see how they all do as I continue to play with my new toys. lol.
So all in, stump grinder, auger and all accessories, shipping start up etc what is a ballpark price? Did you pay up front? and how long to get it to you?
All in the machine and all 9 attachments, it was around $17k shipped to me in Oklahoma. Took around 2 months for them to produce it and ship it to me.
@@OurLifeInTrees 9 attachments? what were they? I just ordered the snow blower, lawn mower, 4 in 1 and the excavator from them.

How much did it cost and how do you get one?
It was about $8500 shipped to me in Oklahoma. The attachments were additional.
There is a link in the description to Alibaba where I bought it. Dean is the salesman that took care of me.
Hi bud
Im thinking to buy same exact machine , how do like it so far ? Any problem with it , and suggestions i should ask the seller before I buy, hope all good , many thanks 👍
I love it. I only have a few hours on it, so I’m not 100% sure on how it is long term, so far it seems great.
I like my counterweights I got. I like my Honda engine, but I bet every engine is good in it.

Can you get parts and filters locally, or do you have to order them from Derette directly?
Depending on the part. Honda engine stuff is readily available. The machine specific parts I’m sure are Derette or one of the other companies that rebadge them and sell them.
What was your total price including extra attachments and shipping everything else?

11.9 I was told

Hi, I know Dean. Seems to be a straight shooter. I ordered a V1000 around three weeks ago. Thank you for your ex ellent videos. They definately influenced my purchase decision. I am anxiously awaiting delivery. I chose the door to door delivery option. QUESTION: How long did it take for your machine to arrive from the deposit to delivery? Thanks again! Shalom/gw

They did it all. As easy as buying something on eBay. Just shipping took a little longer. It took a month and a half to get to me from China to Oklahoma.
Did you make that attachment to move your trailers around or was it one of the attachments you bought with the skid steer?

The link is for the DRT450. When you talk to the salesman, Dean, he can set it up the way you want. I opted for the Honda engine and changed a few things around from the Alibaba listing, it all reflected on my paperwork and invoice. They are willing to make changes since they are the manufacturer.
@OurLifeInTrees ok thank you. Very informative video!
@@OurLifeInTrees I wonder if they would be willing to change the controls to ISO standards? so that the left joy stick controls both tracks forward, backward and left and right. While the right stick controls the bucket. As a long term skid steer operator these odd controls could be a problem when muscle memory kicks in, in tight quarters.
Hmmm. That’s an interesting idea. I will ask.
Is an all electric version available?
I don’t think so.
