@@Grayves_X nah they forgot to put skybox lol. it's supposed to be stationed above the city so it's not in an enclosed space. And there are bunch of purple geometry when you look outside the window so they definitely forgot to add textures.
Yeah this season is one of the worst feeling seasons I've ever experienced. The activity is literally just onslaught. The weapons are horrible. The story is a joke. And the potion system has to be one of the worst things they have ever created. Removing weapon crafting was a huge mistake. This loot grind is awful
I remember watching the reveal and thinking “I hope it’s not just all onslaught…” Also, I was so excited for act 1 to drop all at once, because I thought that at that point it would actually feel like something of real substance, but it didn’t. I played one onslaught, crafted a potion, killed about 30 ads, and that was it… for what was originally supposed to be 3 weeks of “content”… Season “feels” good so far, and it’s only been one day, so I’m going to keep an open mind, but I’m a little disappointed so far at the prospect that for the next few weeks there’s going to be absolutely nothing new other than the dungeon.
Dont know why its not mentioned anywhere but pressing ctrl on pc (i think it might be whatever ur crouch is binded to) while in ur inventory screen allows u to vault stuff remotely
Personally it’s my favourite season so far I loved going to the moon loading up a mission to kill 15 enemies in 2 minutes and have to head back to the seasonal vendor 10/10 best content bungie has released since forsaken
It went to the postmaster for me. I didn't realize until later when I had already further progressed the quest. Then a few hours later I went to check on my lost and found and had a quest step qust sitting there. Picked it up, now I'm softlocked on the "pick up the ingredients" step. I am no longer able to craft Tonics🙂
Wife and I sat down ready for a long night of Destiny. Finished the “Act” in 1.5 hours. Zero metal music, zero intriguing story (we all knew what it was before it launched), a fieldwork that took longer to fly from orbit and back than it took to complete it, and absolutely massive letdown in general. We sat there dumbfounded like “wait…. You’re kidding right, THAT was an ACT?”
Idk what u were expecting tbh it’s just seasonal content. They gave all the dialogue and story stuff and just cut out the pointless missions 99% of the community don’t like doing.
Took a break from sparking zero to play d2, this season looks intersting enough but I'll probably play more dragon ball and cross you should try that game too
Bro I was so confused on the tonics. Stuff popping up on screen while I’m trying to read the subtitles or some other set of instructions…I just spammed the buttons to get it to go away. Ugh. Hopefully I’ll do better on my other characters 😵💫
The tonic system is so dumb. Also 6:22 ok so Prison Of Elders is back and Mithrax is going to die confirmed. Also also, I can’t believe they made the tonic taste testing animation with an EMPTY BOTTLE and we drink it THROUGH OUR HELMET. Nice one, Bungie.
The tonic quest step is bugged and can potentially softlock your game making it impossible to gather materials from the shelf. My titan had bounties saved up, luckily i got the quests done, the quest was sent to my postmaster, and i mistakenly picked it up, when i went to craft a potion next the game softlocked and now i cant brew tonics on thats character, you can craft them on other characters luckily, any you already had waiting will complete with any new ones you get

I thought he might get another shirter acrovity like enigma protocal, a little disappointed that it is just onslaught 2.0. Plus idk if they just butched the story but i felt we had way more plot and story progression in echo's act 1 than reveanent's act 1. The weapons do be nice though and we have the dungoen on friday so holding out that the dungoen will be intriguing. Yet so far this act is lining itaelf up as yet another show up ans hit my raid and dungoens and dip.
Already bored with this season. Six more weeks of potions and Onslaught. That's it. That's the season. No weapon crafting. Getting ONE weapon after a 12 minute Onslaught run. Nope. No more. I'm not running Onslaught 1,000 times for a CHANCE at my desired roll. Bungie finally lost me.

This might be the end of the road for destiny. I can see a lot of what's left of the player base checking out soon. Very poor effort this act. No wonder they let us play the whole story in one go cos it's half an hour long. Really piss poor. Onslaught revamp would have been great alongside a new activity but on its own to carry the act it's just not good enough

My inventory was full so the quest to craft potions was sent to the postmaster. Picked it up from the postmaster but I'm unable to progress the quest. Anyone else have the same problem or know how to fix it? Tried deleting the quest, picked it back up n still can't compete it.
New Class exotic armor has to be unlocked at Rahool by resetting your rank 1 time. The fastest way to do this is tier 2 focusing exotic engrams which will cost 2 ascendant shards, 1 exotic engram, and 60,000 glimmer each time.
This is so much wasted time, go here to get this thing to make a thing you imbue that buffs an unknown % of very mid rewards.. Onslaught is ok but nothing amazing as far as changes. Plus the power cap with 0 way to focus the slot you need but of course they add Exotic class item attunement.. You know because everyone has them and it is not like hundreds of thousands of returning players don't have, joke, no way more than 50k came back, for 1 day but they still don't have the stupid anti solo player class items.... #LFGcanEAD #FTFisTRASH #RetirePete #FireDanielleCFOfromhell Act like you know..

People have been begging for the time gating and pointless busy work to be removed and and now upset that the content is already over. This is what you wanted, why are you so annoyed? This is what it's always been like. You've made your bed, now lie in it.
It’s called subtext. Obviously the call was for busy work to be replaced with meaningful and fun content. Also I assume you haven’t don’t any of the fieldwork tasks. It’s the definition of cheap busywork. The major fieldworks are literally kill 15 enemies. It takes longer to load into the area than it does to complete it.
Alright buckle in because I got sh*t to say... So far this episode's quality has been very disappointing. I really loved the final shape expansion, and I didn't really have any complaints about episode Echoes, but I barely played today and I could already tell this episode was lacking. For example, I logged on tonight to just play a little bit of Act 1, fully intending on leaving the majority for the next few days, yet it seemed like all I did was a few "missions" that lasted all of 5 minutes, if that, and then suddenly it said Act 1 completed. I wasn't blitzing through the missions either, It'd been a while since I'd played Destiny and I wanted to immerse myself in the story. The entire Act was just go here, watch this cutscene, talk to this person, kill a few enemies along the way to watch this conversation. Now, I'm used to the linear story-telling(hand-holding) of Destiny, but it barely felt like I was playing the game at all. It seemed like the entire Act could have just been a slightly longer than normal cutscene. There was maybe 2 new "mechanics" for the evolved scorn; 1 being literally just the Taken bubble, and the other being a reskinned hive ghost you need to shoot instead of finishing. Forgive me if I missed anything but I'm struggling to recall everything about what I just played because it was just all so...underwhelming. I get that the story itself isn't supposed to last the full 40 days of Act 1, but less than an hour's worth of content, most of which is hand-holding, for 40 days is ridiculous. Maybe I'm being a little harsh, but that's just the story. I wasn't even looking and I encountered several development issues. They didn't even bother to texture out the window of the new Helm area, it's just a huge black box the room is sat in. The objective markers were completely unintuitive at certain points, leaving me to inspect the map for any hints. I had several UI issues during the tonic tutorial with the popups not going away or progressing to the next step, yet even with all those popups the tutorial somehow still left stuff out, like how to actually uncover more recipes(thank you Cross for clearing that up). Overall, it just felt incredibly clunky and rushed. I'm hoping it's just because they were more focused on the new dungeon and everything else that comes with a new episode. If they just needed to get something out for Act 1, and Acts 2/3 is more put together, I can accept that. TLDR: what the hek bungi where'd the game go?
this season is boring af, Im only interested in the Dungeon My vault is full because there is no weapon crafting. exotic changes barely do anything, unbeakable is actually nerfed and titan shield barely taunts enemy or even if it works at all

Yeah act 1 took less than 90 minutes. Imagine 20 minutes each week, that's ABSOLUTELY minimum game effort. They're relying on Halloween and dawning to carry the season which is lazy
It's baffling as to why players have to do these type of things like tonics etc, it just feels pointless time wasting. I would just like to jump into the action and farm gear, not running around everywhere doing these silly quests to tick some box. Then some people wonder why Space Marine 2 doing so well... its because its so simple, not some convoluted mess for 45 minutes and 15 minutes of action like D2.
The tonic system has to be one of the worst systems they have ever implemented. Removing weapon crafting was a horrible decision, and replacing it with this system was an even worse decision. This season is already a wash.
Coming in December 'Dawning potion cookies' it's not even funny anymore how blindly some go to defend it! It is not illegal we can enjoy playing and still call out the constant bs rehash of things

Forgive me if I missed anything but I'm struggling to recall everything about what I just played because it was just all so...underwhelming. I get that the story itself isn't supposed to last the full 40 days of Act 1, but less than an hour's worth of content, most of which is hand-holding, for 40 days is ridiculous.
Maybe I'm being a little harsh, but that's just the story. I wasn't even looking and I encountered several development issues. They didn't even bother to texture out the window of the new Helm area, it's just a huge black box the room is sat in. The objective markers were completely unintuitive at certain points, leaving me to inspect the map for any hints. I had several UI issues during the tonic tutorial with the popups not going away or progressing to the next step, yet even with all those popups the tutorial somehow still left stuff out, like how to actually uncover more recipes(thank you Cross for clearing that up). Overall, it just felt incredibly clunky and rushed. I'm hoping it's just because they were more focused on the new dungeon and everything else that comes with a new episode. If they just needed to get something out for Act 1, and Acts 2/3 is more put together, I can accept that.

I completed Onslaught (Expert) 50 waves before normal. Guess what? You don’t get an emblem on Expert but Normal. Are you serious Bungie? 😂😂😂
So it's Onslaught for 6 weeks? The story part of it was so anemic. I rarely complain about stuff Bungie does but this is lame.

this season is boring af, Im only interested in the Dungeon My vault is full because there is no weapon crafting. exotic changes barely do anything, unbeakable is actually nerfed and titan shield barely taunts enemy or even if it works at all
I cannot wait to see the same people who cried about time gated content do all the content in 4 days to complain about no content 😂😂😂

Bro the story content for Act 1 is only 15 mins, the tonics will take longerr, but isnt necessary. This is by far the least story content ive ever seen. Been playing this game for 10 yrs
Yeah act 1 took less than 90 minutes. Imagine 20 minutes each week, that's ABSOLUTELY minimum game effort.
They're relying on Halloween and dawning to carry the season which is lazy

The potions are so damn annoying
It's baffling as to why players have to do these type of things like tonics etc, it just feels pointless time wasting. I would just like to jump into the action and farm gear, not running around everywhere doing these silly quests to tick some box. Then some people wonder why Space Marine 2 doing so well... its because its so simple, not some convoluted mess for 45 minutes and 15 minutes of action like D2.
The tonic system has to be one of the worst systems they have ever implemented. Removing weapon crafting was a horrible decision, and replacing it with this system was an even worse decision.
This season is already a wash.
