A couple of common comments I'm seeing about this mission and bugs: 1. Getting wiped after the death wall run in the beginning. Pretty sure this is actually just bugged, as when I redid it after on expert, twice I just instantly got wiped despite completing the section. The third time I did the exact same thing, but it didn't. So you'll just have to keep trying to get past it unfortunately. If you're not going for the flawless, after the wipe on the next run, you should be able to interact with the vex pillar as soon as you leave. That seems to prevent it. 2. On the final boss, make sure you're going to the same side that the boss is on to have the nodes to break spawn. While this may not be the cause for nodes not spawning and it could also be genuinely bugged, I've seen a few examples of this being the cause for it. So look for where the boss shield is, and go to activate that side.
Its just stupid that bungie doesnt test this. First mission of this new act and its already bugged on all sides. Im getting really tired of this game. Just spend 2 hours finding my way to the boss and it just wont spawn the last weakpoint
Spoiler alert : this doesn't do a thing, it seems you have to pray to RNGesus to be able to kill that boss... Even when moving to the right side of the arena first. It also seems the boss has an internal dps check, because why not... So two nodes are all that you seem to have before being softlocked. If someone can have the third node, please let me know how you did
I checked this video right for help as soon as I had to start jumping all over Hell's half-acre. I really hate the jumping part; it's a pain in the ass. Once I figured out the mechanics of the vex charges, it wasn't too bad. It still took me two hours.
Me too, haha! I knew about the dying with the ____ buff bug so I tried to avoid it in combat, but fell off trying to explore the puzzle and got stuck with that bug. Then it was bed time and today is watch-a-guide-time!
dude same smh i went fwd at first found a room below the damn waterfall and the marker said i needed to go up i spent 45 mins inside that room trying to strand grapple out of it and then got to the waterfall where you cross and died and was like wtf bungie i know you aren't requiring i use strand.... saw strand surge and was like uhhhh wtf maybe they are so i looked around more and was like ok fuck this blind shit i have to work wheres an esoteric guide😅
Doing this solo without a guide might be one of the funniest things I've ever done in this game, I would've flawlessed it if it didn't bug in the last fight
Are all of you making sure you activate the same side that the boss is on? I've seen a few examples of that being the cause for it. While it may just be bugged, check for that first
I tried to solo the expert on my first run. Managed to get to the final boss but got too tired after this 1h run right after work... The subjugator and Tormentor duo slap hard
@@BB77sand then that effing tormentor farms you. Straight up, every time I tried to make a load out change, I'd have to burn two or three deaths and try to scramble to plant the flag before insta kill from the tormentor. Felt a lot easier to do solo on my warlock than my main hunter.
For some reason, when I did this quest I remembered a bit of the scenario from the whisper quest. Once again, thanks for leaving a guide once again! It helped me a lot
Same here you have to bring it down to at least 1 bar of health to continue the encounter you have 2 dps phase if your not able to bring it down at least one bar that when the bug happens
Literally had to come here because I couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong during the second phase of the boss. Turns out it's glitched. 🙃Got the second 0-100% node and no box to shoot (basically I got to 33:33 and there is nothing there to shoot).
I have just gone through this last night, was having a great time exploring the mission, taking my time soaking in the art and all, and then for the life of me couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong, there is no node, that shows up when I am on the side of the boss, lol, lucky I came here first before wasting more time with it today. I am not sure anymore if there's even a checkpoint at the boss, or do I have to like do the whole mission from the start, which is ok I can, just it will be annoying to get locked in the same loop again at the end.
If you are getting bugged on the boss fight . Try DPSing him as if he had the typical 4 chunks of health . I found that if you do too much damage the bug occurs and shield plate won’t pop up. Took me quite a few tries but this finally worked
I stand corrected. Whoever said pretend like the boss has 4 equal HP bars was onto something. I took him down 1/4 at a time which was slower than I was doing it and it worked
As a titan who can't jump 😅 lol, I appreciate your video as I watched all the way through thinking well, no episode 3 for me. Props to you !!! I spent 20 min trying to figure out how to get to the tiny hole on the top of the tree before looking up your video! I continued to watch to see just how ridiculous it was and thought who comes up with tiny ass ledges to land on. Not the boss but the maze of confusion and tiny ass ledges.
@controlleronpceasywin2978 Not toxic at all. I find the hunter to have the best jump but thats my perspectiveas as I play with bunch of hunters. I just really suck at jumping period in the game with certain missions. I will run and charge in to shoot all day. Simple jumping cool. Jump across into a tiny hole..uhh no! I got in using strand but missed the second jump in that tiny space. I'll eventually get it. My hubby is a hunter and tried to jump with my character when I asked for help and he said ewwww WTF.
For anyone struggling at the final boss it took me 6 attempts to get all 3 nodes to spawn. It was brutal having to restart every time but luckily last run had no issues. Keep trying Guardians you got this.

@@BB77s yeah it's long, and most of all really buggy. If checkpoints were a thing in these, most of us who faced bugs would kinda forgive the spaghetti code they made it on.
@@AbdAllah_54564 TBF it didnt take me that long to get to the boss room on my 2nd attempt. but because i was expecting a check point left it a little late in the day, so by that time it was gone midnight and have to be up for work at 0630 of course when it bugged out i just didnt have it in me to try again so called it a night lol
The fact that you blindly chose the correct route out of DOZENS of death traps is mind boggling. I died like 20 times before reaching the first "encounter" area. You might not know this but if you go to the left of the waterfall at the start there's a seemingly legit route that goes through caves and stuff but eventually just leads to a damn death tunnel and you gotta climb back up
The initial jumping puzzle I did before, it was more or less the same but I got lost for about 10 minutes in the part where you're meant to drop down to the purple section (I missed that part), so I restarted the video to save the 10 wasted minutes so people could use it as a guide. The rest was my first time seeing it though
Well done man. Watching this on break at work. Going to go for it when I get home on my hunter. Little bit of spoiler but meh always worth the watch man.
After 4 bugged attempts at the boss, I finally got through. Here are my notes: 1 - If you don't get him down below half in the first attempt, the red walls don't spawn and you will not get the 2nd node. If you don't have red walls after the first damage phase, die and re-try. 2 - Even if you do get red walls, I found that I couldn't get the ring to spawn when the 2nd phase had the boss on the left side. 3 - Only when his first spawn was on the left, and I got him down over half in the first damage phase, did everything work as it should. #sigh
This helped a lot!! 3 points in the health bar for a reason! Recommend prismatic with golden gun (go transcendent before you pop the golden gun) and use celestial night hawk. Optional dragons breath for added damage (my opinion only)
One of my favourite little design features is that with each phase you complete of the final boss, you get an additional module, which makes getting to the next damage phase quicker.
I'm anything but a good player, but I "accidentally" did this solo flawless. Was fun going in without knowing anything. Thank god it didn't have the usual jumping puzzles. Those are always my demise. Was fun, would recommend for everyone.

For the boss bug, using whisper and artifact mods and melting boss seems to damage him enough to avoid that segment of breaking his crystal. Thus avoiding the bug.
I love ur videos so much, like you give me courage and patience to solo things that I think are impossible in my mind. Also if you guys damage the boss too much he get glitched out and you won’t be able to do damage but after 3 tries I got it
I soloed it, but the final boss had a glitch that kept me from finishing it off, but the 3rd time was the charm! It was great to do it without watching a post as well, jump puzzle wasn’t bad…it was a fun mission on normal. But I’ll have to go in with a team for expert to get the catalyst; I’m not that good🤣😉
If anyone is having issues with the shield nodes spawning, use dragons breath and a high DPS super to get the boss down as low as possible. I got the boss to the last bar on my second node and the boss will then spawn in the middle automatically with a node.
My trick to beat this was get the boss to about 55-60% (red walls appear at 50%) on the first dmg phase (you have 20 secs) then on the second I just nuked him with my prismatic grenade, nova, and whatever else. That was enough to get him to teleport to the mid and get the red walls at the same time so I didnt have to do the plates the 3rd time. Simple enough to beat after this point but took many tries because it kept bugging out
had to look up if i m was doing something wrong because a node didn't soon on the final boss, only to see I did everything the same way and just got unlucky from a bug. feels bad man, But thank you so much for making this video so quickly.
This mission is bugged for me! I’m all the way at the end and the final triangle to shoot to get to the final part of the boss isn’t showing up for me. I stood on the plate and did everything you did. It’s not showing up. I can’t get to the final stage wtf someone pls help me
There’s a hidden chest somewhere I got the quest for it. But also when I did it expert solo (not flawless cause f*** tormentors) and n the second phase of the tormentor when you go through the portal hard left is a hidden room that looks like it’s for something.
Going to do my solo/flawless tomorrow. Kept getting whatever bug on the final boss. His barrier plate wasn’t spawning for like the last quarter part of his health. Tried it like 2 times after it glitched on me the first time and nada. A little disappointed but glad I was able to get thru everything, figure out how the encounter even worked and ALMOST completed it. 🙃😭😂🥲 good job as always eso 💯😌✌️
Try to go a bit slower, kill the adds when you exit the wall run and wait a little bit before putting the access code thing in. It's still bugged, but that seems to help
I dont know why, But the first time I did this mission it worked smooth. But now when getting the catalyst, Im dying at 9:40 in the video, No matter what I do. Have died 7-8 times in a row
A confirmed bug unfortunately. Some people the cause was they did it with friends and didn't complete act 1 or 2 prior to it, others it just seems to be bugged

This is always cool to see. However I wish you streamers enjoyed the same issues us regular gamers encounter with the bugs. I can't get out the second phase of boss damage. The weak point does not show up. This sucks because my time is wasted.
Right so I did it again and it worked, I made the mistake(I think) of trying to nuke him very quick on the first damage phase, I did a little damage to him, let him rotate sides, did more damage to him the second time round to get him past the first line.. Blasted him past the other smaller line and it went straight into security lock down mode phase. 1 hour and 37 mins later after many bugged encounters
my shit bugged hard at the end he was trapped by red walls and I literally could do nothing and I had no idea step one was going to be the length of a dungeon
When you're trapped by the red laser walls that's when you have to jump to that middle platform pick up the blue thing open up that portal on the left jump through it and then you'll be back where the boss is
The first time I loaded this up, there was a random wall at the start and I had to reload the mission. I fully pulled this up as a guide because I was so confused
Alright I might’ve figured out the last boss glitch that doesn’t spawn the node on the left side. Don’t put the green mode on the very left spot. Once I didn’t do that, the node was spawning 🙌
I’ve done this final boss about 5 times and every time I get to the final shield break, the node that you are suppose to shoot doesn’t spawn in! I’m still currently working on it
To avoid getting wiped during the death wall part, wait until the death wall pauses at the doorway in the final room and then dunk. If you dunk before this it wipes.
I have found a way to somehow bypass or prevent the bug happen from boss encounter that making ur wall or the capture ring disappear. I was also bugged where after i went to the left side at first and then when i tamper the right side, it doesnt show the ring or the big vex. I used hunter build with still hunt and celestial goldie, applied all the debuff first, use still hunt goldie first becuz it has lower dmg so it doesnt go pass the first health bar limit, then use chawk goldie to deal massive dmg that it bypass the next dmg phase and straight to finals phase. Completely ignore the bug that possibly appear. Very sry for those who spent an hour to get stuck on the final boss, but hope this helps.
Is mine bugged or something? Theres a big vex barrier blocking the way when you jump across the chasm just after going down the hole in the sphere. Doesnt seem like a bug but im not seeing any videos where people do anything to disable it.
Ah i just reloaded, I think the game forces you to go up the big hill on the right and jump in, when I first did it I climbed the tree next to the sphere and I think it soft locked me
Finished it solo and the boss was ok for me thankfully. Cool location but I didn't really enjoy it as it felt more like a long walking simulator while pick the same thing up, plant it, pick this up, plant it over and over with a bit of a fight in between. Any other exotic mission was honestly more enjoyable than this one for me.
The red circle in final boss figt doesn't spawn for me. Tried everything, wiped many times, it's just not there. The platform appears, but the red circle is not on it.
The bug seems to be triggered by not doing enough damage in the first phase of the last boss. Kept restarting only to find that nuking it down to close to the phase point on the health bar did it let me progress at the end.

Thought I was doing something wrong. Was stuck there for 20 mins so I looked up a videos. Went to orbit, restarted my game, restarted my console. All 4 runs. Can't get past that part because it's fucking bugged of course 🙄 no matter how fast or slow I go, wipes me no matter what. Such bullshit.
Red walls, boss is a little less than half health remaining. It’s telling me to shoot is weak spot to break shield. There is no node tho. I’ve been running around trying to redo switches etc. I really don’t want to wipe. Probably just turn the game off and come back later. Really wish we had a boss cp for exotic missions 😢
Nice! I got through it my first time with no guide. I died 8 times, it would have been 6 but I had to kill myself 2 times from 2 bugs that I encountered

Slower dps? I thought I was already going too slow so I was trying to speed it up. Maybe it ended up being too fast. I'll slow it down THX.
yep that didnt work. If I went any slower I'd be going backwards.

My Titan jumps like a potato falling off a table. I had to pick up a Hunter to get through the content.

I'm anything but a good player, but I "accidentally" did this solo flawless. Was fun going in without knowing anything. Thank god it didn't have the usual jumping puzzles. Those are always my demise. Was fun, would recommend for everyone.

For the boss bug, using whisper and artifact mods and melting boss seems to damage him enough to avoid that segment of breaking his crystal. Thus avoiding the bug.
The game is bugged, the second crystal to destroy it isn’t showing up for me, god I’m so mad

I love ur videos so much, like you give me courage and patience to solo things that I think are impossible in my mind. Also if you guys damage the boss too much he get glitched out and you won’t be able to do damage but after 3 tries I got it
I soloed it, but the final boss had a glitch that kept me from finishing it off, but the 3rd time was the charm! It was great to do it without watching a post as well, jump puzzle wasn’t bad…it was a fun mission on normal. But I’ll have to go in with a team for expert to get the catalyst; I’m not that good🤣😉
If anyone is having issues with the shield nodes spawning, use dragons breath and a high DPS super to get the boss down as low as possible. I got the boss to the last bar on my second node and the boss will then spawn in the middle automatically with a node.

My trick to beat this was get the boss to about 55-60% (red walls appear at 50%) on the first dmg phase (you have 20 secs) then on the second I just nuked him with my prismatic grenade, nova, and whatever else. That was enough to get him to teleport to the mid and get the red walls at the same time so I didnt have to do the plates the 3rd time. Simple enough to beat after this point but took many tries because it kept bugging out
had to look up if i m was doing something wrong because a node didn't soon on the final boss, only to see I did everything the same way and just got unlucky from a bug. feels bad man, But thank you so much for making this video so quickly.

This mission is bugged for me! I’m all the way at the end and the final triangle to shoot to get to the final part of the boss isn’t showing up for me. I stood on the plate and did everything you did. It’s not showing up. I can’t get to the final stage wtf someone pls help me

There’s a hidden chest somewhere I got the quest for it. But also when I did it expert solo (not flawless cause f*** tormentors) and n the second phase of the tormentor when you go through the portal hard left is a hidden room that looks like it’s for something.
No matter how often I'm doing this, the second to last node will never appear, making it still impossible to complete it

Going to do my solo/flawless tomorrow. Kept getting whatever bug on the final boss. His barrier plate wasn’t spawning for like the last quarter part of his health. Tried it like 2 times after it glitched on me the first time and nada. A little disappointed but glad I was able to get thru everything, figure out how the encounter even worked and ALMOST completed it. 🙃😭😂🥲 good job as always eso 💯😌✌️

If anyone has the bug where the vex wall is blocking your way, just restart the mission and it should disappear, worked for me, good luck guardians 🤘🤘

Try to go a bit slower, kill the adds when you exit the wall run and wait a little bit before putting the access code thing in. It's still bugged, but that seems to help
I dont know why, But the first time I did this mission it worked smooth. But now when getting the catalyst, Im dying at 9:40 in the video, No matter what I do. Have died 7-8 times in a row

A confirmed bug unfortunately. Some people the cause was they did it with friends and didn't complete act 1 or 2 prior to it, others it just seems to be bugged

This is always cool to see. However I wish you streamers enjoyed the same issues us regular gamers encounter with the bugs. I can't get out the second phase of boss damage. The weak point does not show up. This sucks because my time is wasted.
Right so I did it again and it worked, I made the mistake(I think) of trying to nuke him very quick on the first damage phase, I did a little damage to him, let him rotate sides, did more damage to him the second time round to get him past the first line.. Blasted him past the other smaller line and it went straight into security lock down mode phase. 1 hour and 37 mins later after many bugged encounters
my shit bugged hard at the end he was trapped by red walls and I literally could do nothing and I had no idea step one was going to be the length of a dungeon

When you're trapped by the red laser walls that's when you have to jump to that middle platform pick up the blue thing open up that portal on the left jump through it and then you'll be back where the boss is

The first time I loaded this up, there was a random wall at the start and I had to reload the mission. I fully pulled this up as a guide because I was so confused

Alright I might’ve figured out the last boss glitch that doesn’t spawn the node on the left side. Don’t put the green mode on the very left spot. Once I didn’t do that, the node was spawning 🙌
I’ve done this final boss about 5 times and every time I get to the final shield break, the node that you are suppose to shoot doesn’t spawn in! I’m still currently working on it

To avoid getting wiped during the death wall part, wait until the death wall pauses at the doorway in the final room and then dunk. If you dunk before this it wipes.
I have found a way to somehow bypass or prevent the bug happen from boss encounter that making ur wall or the capture ring disappear. I was also bugged where after i went to the left side at first and then when i tamper the right side, it doesnt show the ring or the big vex.
I used hunter build with still hunt and celestial goldie, applied all the debuff first, use still hunt goldie first becuz it has lower dmg so it doesnt go pass the first health bar limit, then use chawk goldie to deal massive dmg that it bypass the next dmg phase and straight to finals phase. Completely ignore the bug that possibly appear. Very sry for those who spent an hour to get stuck on the final boss, but hope this helps.

Is mine bugged or something? Theres a big vex barrier blocking the way when you jump across the chasm just after going down the hole in the sphere.
Doesnt seem like a bug but im not seeing any videos where people do anything to disable it.
Ah i just reloaded, I think the game forces you to go up the big hill on the right and jump in, when I first did it I climbed the tree next to the sphere and I think it soft locked me

Finished it solo and the boss was ok for me thankfully. Cool location but I didn't really enjoy it as it felt more like a long walking simulator while pick the same thing up, plant it, pick this up, plant it over and over with a bit of a fight in between. Any other exotic mission was honestly more enjoyable than this one for me.

The red circle in final boss figt doesn't spawn for me. Tried everything, wiped many times, it's just not there. The platform appears, but the red circle is not on it.
My first run has been on expert and oh god it was painful. 2 hours and 24 deaths. The bug with the hydra took me 4 wipes.

The bug seems to be triggered by not doing enough damage in the first phase of the last boss. Kept restarting only to find that nuking it down to close to the phase point on the health bar did it let me progress at the end.
Bro i had to look up a guide bc the red wall of death section was bugging tf out for me. I thought i was too slow but then i see this and was like ok missions broken. Ive relaunched the mission 3 times and its the same deal. They make it so very hard to play make you wanna play this game.
I was running solo and got to the final node phase to bring down the shield and continue damage and the weak point was no where to be found….spent 20 minutes trynna check if i did anything wrong, nope….bungie….1hr30min wasted
The fact that the last boss can bug out at a 1/4 HP is such BS! I've never hated my addictive personality more than I do now, because I cant stop no matter how many times it bugs! lol
I will wait until they patch that insta death for my try. After seeing this I see why Bungie got all bothered by radiant dance machines and flying.

Thought I was doing something wrong. Was stuck there for 20 mins so I looked up a videos.
Went to orbit, restarted my game, restarted my console. All 4 runs. Can't get past that part because it's fucking bugged of course 🙄 no matter how fast or slow I go, wipes me no matter what. Such bullshit.
Deathwall has done me about 12 times in a row now. I'm clearing the section rapidly too, loads of time to spare. But every single time it wipes me.
Try going slowly, kill the enemies at the end when exiting, and wait a little bit before interacting with the Vex code
Red walls, boss is a little less than half health remaining. It’s telling me to shoot is weak spot to break shield. There is no node tho. I’ve been running around trying to redo switches etc. I really don’t want to wipe. Probably just turn the game off and come back later. Really wish we had a boss cp for exotic missions 😢

Nice! I got through it my first time with no guide. I died 8 times, it would have been 6 but I had to kill myself 2 times from 2 bugs that I encountered
