If the gods were kind, they would survive The Great Winter War and find that peaceful place together. However, the gods are seldom kind. Jaime will die as the honorable knight he wanted to be. Brienne will survive and spend the rest of her life alone. Her last whispered words, "Jaime .... his name was Jaime."

Oh and also that but about three children with golden hair (hers and Jaimes) and their funeral shrouds will be gold. She also said the king being Robert will have 20 children Cercie only 3 which made no sense at the time...look it up

It’s blueish black because of the way it was made. Makers put hot metal in oil for tempering. That process protects metal from rusting.

I think he felt he didn't deserve happiness and that's why he unloaded all of his dirty laundry on Brienne when he left. He was trying to make her hate him again.

He could have died at winterfell beside brienne instead of giving him THAT ending with cersei. I want braime to be together romantically but if he died in winterfell atleast he actually died fighting beside brienne, both fighting side by side as knights and two ppl who hold eachother in high regards. It would have been cliche to kill him off at winterfell against the undead but it would have been more satisfying ghen the crappy ending. Cersei didnt want to die but she didnt die alone,she died and dany didnt even get to sit on the throne to spite cersei. The ending could have gone so much better. Jaime could have had a death that was sad but respectable

@@armythatgoesmoomoo1148 No, Cersei doesn't deserve such an ending, but it's inevitable that Jaime goes to die with her. As Tyrion observes, Jaime sees Cersei for what she is but loves her anyway.
He may love Brienne, but he knows that he has to be with Cersei when she dies (and by then he knows she's doomed); she'll be so terrified and he can't allow that

*Swoon!* Terrific edit! I'm blown away at how you capture the beauty of their love story. I'm so glad you added the bit about "Brienne the Beauty" as I think she is the one mentioned in the prophecy. I hope they do end up as king and queen and he dies of old age in her arms after a long and happy marriage with many beautiful children. I hope we get a sort of epilogue about them like we do about Aragorn and Arwen (the other "Evenstar") in TLOTR.
Ah thank you so much! Just the idea of a similar epilogue to the Aragorn-Arwen one brings tears to my eyes. Unlikely, but we can still hope!

It's like your tribute is saying Cersei is toxic to Jaime, but Brienne is healing/building him up.

Cersei is so evil; her backstory explains how she became the wicked person she is, I tried to have some sympathy or at least understanding, but I could not stop thinking: someone please kill this woman, soon.
Reading the first & second book, as Jaime pushes Bran out of the window & Cersei tortures Sansa, I just kept hating her more & more & more. And I had such a hard time developing any sympathy for Jaime, it took me forever to do that.
That was beautiful.
Someone said, after the finale, that they wished, when Brienne got up from her chair after writing about Jaime in the Kingsguard book that we could have seen that she was pregnant. Personally, I’m going to believe this in my mind. She’s carrying the next Lannister. Jaime’s legacy continues and his child becomes a great knight. Tyrion gets to have family, again.

Jamie will die in the arms of the woman he loves I'm sure of it and when it happens we will all wheep not because of his death but for the man he could have been from the beginning. I love what there story represents The one you love should inspire you to be better and brienne is that shining light surrounded by his darkness, something all of us men can relate to when we find our soul mates
No Brianne will die in his arms and would ask him to protect the Stark sisters
For Christ's sake, they should be alive until the last episode of season 8 and be married! ❤❤❤❤❤

If you think about it, the hot tub scene with Jaime fainting in Brienne's arms is when "Kingslayer" dies, and when Ser Jaime is reborn anew. He started changing and being recognized as his own person rather than by the name given to him by the crowd. I want to have hope that he won't die bc the toxic part of him already died, but I wouldn't be too mad if he at least dies in the most honorable way in Brienne's arms
Jaime seeing Tarth for the first time may be just a blip, but it's so poignant and powerful and one of my all-time favorite scenes from the series. I get the feels everytime I see it.
So here’s what I think: I think Jaime is going to be struck down while saving Brienne and die in her arms, just like he wanted, “...to die in the arms of the woman I love”, and by the end, she will be part of the Queen’s Guard as a full fledged knight and finish off the last few pages in the book Jaime showed her, talking all about him. She closes the book then walks out to the balcony where she sees lil Jaime- named for her father, which golden hair- playing “knights” with Gendry and Arya’s son in the garden

Lovely compilation. Really got me emotional. I personally love the story between Jaime and Brienne. The respect, the care and the love that they have for each other is very subtle, yet very deep... and probably even without their (I mean the chatacters) own knowledge.... eagerly waiting for the final season...

Its simple, really. Brianne changed Jamie. He thought about another person before himself probably for the first time in his life. Jamie was willing to do anything to save Briannes life. He showed that numerous times. He lost his hand because of her. Yet, did not blame her. Losing that hand made him more of a thinker than a reactionist. There is no doubt in my mind he admired her so deeply he felt that the only place he deserved to be was by Cersis side-not out of love but because , as he said to Brianne he and Cersi are awful people. He loved Brianne and she obviously loved Jamie. Their first time together was his first time with a woman other than Cersi. I really felt devastated when he left Brianne. It was gut-wrenching.
Cersei: Do you love him?
Brienne: Yes. Like a brother.

Cersei and Brienne represent both sides of Jaime. Once he fully cast off cersei he was able to fully embrace his goodness, his honor, and his feelings for brienne.
And both women are opposite of each other as they can be. Cercei famed as the most beautiful woman in realm whereas Brienne known as the ugliest. One is power hungry and wouldn't stop by anything whereas other is always bound by her honour. Cercei is so manipulative, while Brienne is straight forward.
This is the best Brienne and Jaime AMV I've seen so far, it's beautiful, thank you for those moments puted together with delicacy!

With Cercei Jamie most negative and worst side comes out but with Brienne.... Jamie's Softer heart and kinder personality which is actually good in so many ways comes out...It is after meeting Brienne is that Jamie's redeeming character arc comes into play
Oh my god. See, I've been binging all the Jaime/Brienne videos on youtube I could find, but honestly this is the one to rule them all. The way you handled all of their symbolism so beautifully, and showed their journey and who they _really_ are... it's breathtaking, really. Probably one of the greatest video essays I've ever seen...
Btw I've always been in favor of Brienne being the younger, more beautiful queen - it being Dany is too obvious and literal, and we know that prophecies are always highly symbolic.... so Brienne it is :)

This was beautifully done. The music and editing was perfect. You captured those moments amazingly well, I had to watch it several times! I enjoy how they take things they tell eachother and then stick with it surprising the other one. Such as when she named it Oathkeeper and he was in front of jon, Dany and Sansa and he mentioned the thing about loyalty and it being about survival and stuff and the thing about houses when he was talking to his sister.

I love how when you see Jaime and Cersei they're always plotting how to maintain their relationship a secret, talking about politics or having s*xual relationships, but when Brienne and Jaime are with each other it's like they take their time to be with one another like you can see their eyes sparkle when they look at each other and the longing they have for intimacy with the other, to the point where you feel like when they get separated they are about to cry because they don't want to, but they will because it's the right thing. When it comes to Cersei and Jaime, it feels like desperation and frustration of not getting what you want (the love of a spoiled child). When it comes to Jaime and Brienne it feels like the sadness and longing for things to be different, but also the acceptance of reality (the love of a mature being). I really hope in the books they get a different ending, even if Brienne and Jaime die (or one of them), I hope they don't present Jaime as if he would abandon Brienne for Cersei, as if the one he always loved and will love is Cersei, because it's not true.

can you imagine if in season 8 brienne is overpowered in the midst of a fight and just when everything seems lost jaime saves her and she's on the ground and they look at each other for a moment, just a moment, and then a wight runs jaime through with a piece of ice or something and jaime's eyes go a little whie and he slumps to the ground dead cause this is game of thrones
