    Da 395xp is the best saw ever. Can’t wait to buy a 592xp and see what’s all the hub bub about. Go husky

    Hi I have bought a clone version [ Holzfforma] of the 395XP, and can't start it, I bought it to put on my Alaskan mill . I feel it doesn't drop the compression off enough to get a good spin of the flywheel, the saw looks well built, it has backfired a couple of times and pulled the starter handle out of my hand,, Cheers Kim down in New Zealand

    I just picked up a mint shape 2021 model 395xp with the 36 bar. Came with a second brand new chain for only $850 Canadian. Used once apparently but you'd never know it.

    In Washington state our firewood comes from trees that are 6 inch-6 feet diameter. 90cc -125cc gets it done.

    I bought one of these saws, The chain adjuster screw broke twice so far and I didn't cut 15 cords of wood on it yet. The screw costed $15.50 and that is the screw only without the block that has the pall that fits into the bar. The screw is to light for the power of the saw. JUNK!!!

    I have the same saw I use for fire wood I have mine modded and she rips through the fire wood I got the 395xp because I'm a volunteer firefighter and were I live at we get a lot of tree down calls and omost every time a 24 inch bar is to small

      Jose Amezola I have a 36 inch bar for it what when I get called out for a tree down I grab the 36 inch bar and chain and down the road with lights going I keep two chain saws in my truck all the time

  • @bradmetcalf7832

    Nothing wrong with running 24" bar on the saw for bucking wood with a 395, the deal is ya should go up to a 8pin sprocket to take advantage of the power. Could probably handle a 9 pin if you could find one. I just ordered a new 395, my 394 is 26 years old now and it's time to be the backup saw. The new saw will be broke in then sent out for modding should come back at better than 9 hp. Shop around I just paid $1015.00 shipped to my door.

    Bummer looks like the new ones are only 6.6hp according to Husqvarna not 7.1hp like yours. Thank you government emissions regulations. Bummer that means you have to get Stihl MS661now to get 7.2hp for this class size. Great review by the way. Very informative.

    • @Brian-Outdoors
      @Brian-Outdoors ปีที่แล้ว

      @@J.R.723 the 592XP has 7.6HP not 6.6HP. I have both the 592XP and 395XP and to be honest they cut pretty much the same. The 592XP feels lighter though I am not sure it is. The autotune and side chain tensioner are the real upgrades in my opinion.

    • @J.R.723
      @J.R.723 ปีที่แล้ว

      @OutdoorMan716 I thought the power was less but the rpm and chain speed, along with weight were the main differences. I own a 395xp but the sound alone of the 592 is enough to be interested. So they have more hp then the 395 which is 7.1hp?

    I wonder how a loggers time is more valuable than that of someone who cuts firewood? When I cut wood I want maximum use of my time. I have a hard time understanding your statement that this is too big to use for firewood.
