Hal is terrible anybody with a brain knows the 90s dynasty was built by stick michale and bob watson. Ever since the core 4 retired this team has struggled to find suitable replacments and struggles to develop talent yet hal refuses to fire cashman

Unknown in American sports but Peter Coates owner of Stoke City football Club is a hero, local guy built an empire in bet 365 and brought stoke city yes we've struggled over the last 10 years but we once had a stable and strong Premier leauge team. Ahhhh memories
One thing that is not mentioned in the part about Hal Steinbrenner and mentioning George Steinbrenner is the lasting impact that hiring George Costanza had on that franchise. Sure they do not win every year but when you hire talent to be the assistant to the Traveling Secretary and that person puts a permanent stamp on the team nothing will stop them in the long run.
As a dolphins fan, Im proud to say that Stephen Ross is bottom 10 owner. Even though we're winning, he has a bad track record as of late
Although there have been some negative aspects of their tenure, I have respect for all the current owners of the major sports owners of the teams in the Tampa Bay area. For the Lightning, 2 division titles, a Presidents Cup trophy, 3 conference championships and 2 Stanley Cups since 2010. For the Buccaneers, 5 division titles, 2 conference championships and 2 Super Bowl championships since 1995. And the Rays have had 4 division titles, and 2 pennants since 2005. All teams that have had to compete in small sports markets, compete in tough divisions, and were largely irrelevant doormat teams prior to their current owners taking over their respective franchises. In recent years, they have experienced great success and are consistently competitive. I agree Vinik is the person to highlight, but I would say the Glazers and Sternberg deserve some honorable mentions for being among the top owners of their respective sports leagues. The Buccaneers may be the exception to "consistently competitive" in the Glazer tenure, but of the current ownerships in the NFL less than half have won a Super Bowl championship. Of those, only 6 owners have won 2 Super Bowls and the Glazers are in that category. So, in that regard I think the are worth mentioning.
Putting Stan Kroenke as one of the best owners has aged very well with the Nuggets winning the Finals. Arsenal also came second in the Premier League this year. He is a little stingy with spending money on Arsenal though.
Mario Lemuiex was a very good owner for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
There are many great sports team owners, But I think the New York Giants Owners are among the best. Legendary owners Wellington Mara an Robert Tisch won 2 super bowls under the Bill Parcells era back in the day and now we have John Mara and Steve Tisch who have won 2 super bowls under the Tom Coughlin era and now have a chance to win more under Brian Baboll (Provided they get the right quarterback) Despite the struggles in recent years the Maras and the Tisch co-owners have a system that is designed to work and get results in the long term.
Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones should have been mentioned among the best as well. JJ is all about winning super bowls. In the Jimmy Johnson era he built up a true super bowl dynasty. He's done everything he could to build another. Despite no super bowls in recent years - He at least made the Boys a legitimate playoff qualifying team every year and sooner or later he may get the big silver cup one more time.
One of the best owners is Tony Bloom who has turned Brighton into a solid Premier League and served as an example of how to run a football club, particularly in regards to scouting and recruitment.
The worst would be The Glazers at Man Utd since they have asset-stripped the club, run down the facility to the point that Old Trafford is leaky, and cramped, and recently been told to improve food hygiene. The club's training facilities haven't been upgraded so that meant that they have fallen behind their rivals. Finally, they have spent a lot on transfers but their transfer policy seems to be wait to until the last minute, panic, and overpay for a transfer fee and wages.

STEPHEN ROSS owner of the dolphins was completely ignored in your worst category. The guy was suspended for tampering with Tom Brady potentially playing in Miami. This while Brady was under full contract with the Tampa Bay Bucs. Not to mention asking Brian Flores to tank the team in 2019 so they could get a better spot in the draft and he incentivized losing by offering Flores $100k for losing each week.

How about Katie Blackburn of the Bengals? Mike Brown may still be the official owner, but his Daughter is now the one calling the shots. She has done a complete 180 on Mike Brown's old ways and brought the team into the modern era with a Super Bowl appearance within the 3 years.
The one thing I’ll disagree about is the name Redskins was not offensive. I agree with Snyder on not wanting to change that. However he needs to go as an owner

Technically, it's Kroenke's wife that's the owner of the Avalanche as the NFL made Stan transfer ownership as part acquiring majority interest in the Rams (NFL rules then prevented an owner from owning Big Four teams in another NFL market). But I guess it counts since all the teams are under the same umbrella.
Meanwhile, I would have put Clark Hunt in over Kroenke. Since inheriting the team from his father, Clark has surpassed him and unlike Lamar's largely-absentee ownership, Clark has been there in both good times and bad and turned a middle-to-the-pack to bottom-feeder team into a consistent contender. Also, you didn't have Hunt getting sued by a city over a broken lease.
Stan Kronke is hated by Arsenal fans through they seem to think a bit better of his son Josh who I think is now running the day to day

I get the gripe on Khan, but he actually did the Kraft mindset of ownership. He just hasn't found his BB yet. He is very much handsoff kind of owner.

How is Jerry Jones not on the worst list. He is the dictionary definition of meddling owner. He is too loyal to some coaches (Jason Garrett) and some players, and he makes all the personnel decisions instead of hiring a GM who knows how to build a football team.

Dean Spanos has to be the worst owner because he doesn't care about the Chargers whatsoever he only cares about the kudos of being an NFL team owner. Oh, and don't forget George Reynolds, the former owner of Darlington Football Club who spent over £50 million on a stadium that nobody wanted, asked for or went to and promised to take the club into the Premier League but neither did that happen but the club ended up being relegated out of the Football League altogether!

Kraft: The only mistake he made was trading Garoppolo to the 49ers in 2017 and removing the heir apparent the Brady's throne to allow QB chaos.
Steinbrenner: Tell that to diva and pampered Yankees fans who want the team fired out of a cannon and everyone sacked whenever they don't win the pennant, which is Every Year nowadays.
Kroenke: Firstly he's an evil monster. Did you not see how he screwed over St. Louis?
