1:28 I find this one very useful, you managed to help on a team fight by first realizing the position of all the other players and instead of trying to get the player who's alone you decided to go back.
As always, this is very helpful Chara. I think a cool video for Splatoon 3 is, after about maybe 3-6 months into the game, you do a map video where you discuss different hard points to cap to help your team to secure the victory. I play primarily solo Q, and noticed that some players don’t know which areas to hold. Like in the reef, holding the bridge is important but I don’t see many players attempt to always control it.
@@warmhugs2youu Because it can put you and your mates in bad situations later on and while you do wanna get kills, kills are NOT EVERYTHING. That can actually cause you to lose some matches because you got greedy. Don't always rush one person down just because you see them cause you don't know if their mates are waiting to jump you. You NEED to know where everyone is at before rushing and know when to rush as well. Hope this helps
Commentary is actually really helpful. I go brain dead sometimes when I play, and it’s mostly because I don’t really know what to do. Knowing what leads you to your choices is fantastic
That was actually the best video of pro player that explains what mindset they have and why they are choosing to do some things! Fantastic work with excellent script! Kiver has some videos like this that I really like but I think he needs some help with the script. I wish he'll get inspiration from this and release more cause his observations and quick decision-making is in another level
Extremely rare to find crisp play-by-play breakdown of anyones matches for Splatoon 2, if more players did this with an ounce of dedication as you Chara, the scene would greatly benefit by a metric crap-ton. Just showing my appreciation bro.
ive been fluctuating between 2000 and 2300 for probably over 2 years now lmao, awareness and decision making are some of the biggest things stopping me from improving so this is really useful
Probably the most important thing I learned is to pressure opponents when you outrange them and they don’t have ink behind them. Chara only mentioned it once but I thought it was a great idea.
Thank you for making this. Your awareness is amazing and you are teaching us lower level losers how to play the game. Sorry your brella decided to fail, I really hope it’s better in the next game. To me blob is the worse one for brella It’s shots just go threw the shield
@Ravetastic. I'm not fully sure but I think it watches which way your eyes move, eg up and down, and then it places a circle roughly where your looking?
hey Chara! Do you have any advice on what kind of mindset I should have when playing Grim? I tend to get frustrated whenever burst bomb combos don't work thanks to rng.
@@ProChara Oh lol ok, thanks for the quick response! Had Covid a month ago so was stuck at home and got back into Splatoon, been watching a buncha your stuff. (:
Really useful, I wish more top level players did breakdowns of why they did certain plays and what they were thinking during the plays
A lot of them actually do. A lot of them are older video break downs but still counts

You’re going to be insane in Splat 3! So smart

This video is really helpful. I feel like one of my worst habits while playing Splatoon is my positioning and playing too aggressively
why is it bad to play too aggressively?

This type of content is really helpful. I would certainly enjoy more videos like this in the future

these types of videos are my favorite, dynamic thinking is always so cool to hear
It was really nice to hear what you were thinking while doing all these plays in Splatoon 2
Please do more videos like these! Having this train of though helps me question more how I play and how to improve. Greetings from Costa Rica!
Yo también soy de Costa Rica :D saludos

This is amazing! I would live to see more content like this!
I love videos like these, they're my favorites out of your great content. Keep up the great work!
Amazingly helpful content! Would love to see more in the future, especially brush plays!

the way you use torpedos is really smart, I never would have thought of that
LOVE THIS
This was great, I feel like decision making is one of the biggest differences between a good player and a pro.
your enemy awareness is incredible
Would love to see more.
This is an amazing video this is what helps players get better, have you ever thought about buying an eye tracker- would make your videos even better?
I don't think it would help much so I prolly won't,
@Ravetastic. I'm not fully sure but I think it watches which way your eyes move, eg up and down, and then it places a circle roughly where your looking?
It’s nice to see the mind of one of the best Splatoon Players of all time👍🏽
This looks fun and nerve racking at the same time lol
Cool
Nice pfp
That’s very helpful and smart . It’s amazing that you can get a triple kill with two shots
definitely want to see more
You make it look so easy I swear 😭
there was a lot of information i wish i knew more about tactics in platoon thank you
Damn.
I just go “WAIT I ALMOST SPLATTED A NEWBIE” half of the time.
I thought that my plays were thought of and planned… boy was I wrong
How would you start to develop a analytical mindset while playing the game?
i mean jus think about fights where people want to be etc
Could you also maybe do commentary on bad decisions? Like commentary on what you did wrong and what you should've done
yea prolly could at some point, this was originally just a normal scrim highlights I wanted to add to
XD I can only dream of being this observant. This is insane.
hey Chara! Do you have any advice on what kind of mindset I should have when playing Grim? I tend to get frustrated whenever burst bomb combos don't work thanks to rng.
swapping between burst bomb support and agrro pressure under ledges helps a bit
So splatoon is a game of chess essentially
Very informative but I don't really get what "collapse" means in this context.
OK… so I think exactly like you do and just as fast, but I'm stuck in step 1 because I get killed XD
wheres the second part of the main weapon tierlist😐
Wednesday have patience
@@ProChara No, i dont want to have patience
When people think it’s a braindead game for kids, with no thought involved
Why do you call kills picks? Is there a difference?
idk and nope

Pretty sure I saw a fake u in league. but they made too many mistakes to be you. If it was u... oof. GG?
