I think you channel is about to blow up. This showed up in my recommended videos and you are really good at this. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see you at over 1k subs by the end of the month. This is at least a 10k sub channel quality wise
Another great video, you're about to blow up on TH-cam for sure bro. Keep smashing it. Also don't want to be that guy, but the wormple and wingull where caught on the same route... sorry to burst the bubble 🤣
Yeah, I've been told before but you're 100% right x) I skipped a whole bunch of optional encounters in endgame so I reckon I'm fine but alas, it IS an illegal encounter I guess :x Thanks!
@Malorak7 don't worry I always make the same mistake when I play emerald. Always forget it the same route. But still top video. And for sure will smash the TH-cam game for the rest of this year 💪 keep it up man
@@Stf-le9ot Hehe, I can totally see myself doing this mistake again next time I run gen 3 or the remakes 😆Thanks! Already on my next run, I may skip ingame grinding via rare candies but the TH-cam grind is real :D
@Malorak7 for sure rare candies save you hell alot of time, but you also lose out on ev's and iv's but definitely worth not having to grind. Emerald cross is a game you should download. It's Emerald but when starting a new game it gives you nuzlocke options for your game. Like level caps, if pokemon faint they'll automatically go to your box. Or if your party faint the game save deltes it's self. And tones of other options too. That the version I always play
JOJO REFFERENCE! Am now very happy i subbed from the last video which was also very good btw, as many people have said you're video quality is awesome!
Glad to see you upload again! I love watching nuzlockes, and your first video popped up in my recommended a couple days ago and I knew I had to stick around to see more. :) super high quality for only 2 videos so far! Looking forward to more.
Awesome vid!! I was gonna say for the Wallace fight, you could teach Kadabra Substitute for the extra security. It doesn't block Attract, but it gives you more turns to set up in case you get infatuated. BUT I just learned that it's an Emerald exclusive tutor move in Lilycove. Otherwise it could've made the sweep more doable
Oooh interesting! Substitute into sweep sounds dope :D I mean, I could've done Wallace in a million different ways but I didn't think much further than "oooh calm mind" and "water is special so I am safe, let's go". I only looked up movesets for the elite 4 so I probably need to start doing that as well...If I had known this thing attracts then I would've just pivoted a bit more or rely more on my grass types lol Lots to learn still, which is exciting. Thanks for saying the vid's awesome!
FunFact : Did you know that the Pokémon "Rhydon" was the first Pokémon ever created by Game Freak? Despite not being the first Pokémon in the National Pokédex (that honor goes to Bulbasaur), Rhydon was the first design conceptualized by Ken Sugimori and the team. This is why many statues and carvings of Rhydon can be seen in the early Pokémon games, as it was a foundational part of the Pokémon world (Now I want my info 😏crab)
I already knew that one, but it's a cool one! I do love me some Kingler and the reason is very straight forward: It's a basic but really cool design! Seeing a crab with a crown-shape for its head and it being the final evolution, King-ler is a cool name for a Crab. It being a mostly physical water type with Crabhammer is also just cool to me. I remember playing a Romhack of Platinum and it helped me throughout the entire game, ever since then I've kinda loved this goofy crab
From what I can tell, ruby is a bit easier - Tate and Liza have 2 less Pokémon for example. Ruby also misses the cool cutscene where Rayquaza swoops in and stops Kyogre and Groudon from fighting, which is neat! I chose it cause I never had Emerald as a kid and was more familiar with ruby :D Thanks for the comment!
@@LetsPlayJoshPK Thank you very much, I highly appreciate that! The quality will only improve, for example I bought a new Mic today which should sound a LOT better!
The singular is actually not a legal encounter. Both the route before and after petalburg woods is route 104 and you already caught the wurmple on the route.
Oh...I didn't know that D: I mean, I skipped like 10-ish optional encounters so I guess it's not the biggest deal, but good to know for my next run. Still new to this, thanks for the heads up!
Ruby and Hoenn in general are harder than FRLG for a simple reason: it's got way more garbage Pokemon not worth using, a forced weak bug type 1st encounter that might evolve into the wrong evolution for anything past gym 2 because the evolution is random, the early route Pokemon are 90% garbage or the kind you spoonfeed up to 30 to get a powerful mon with an atrocious exp curve (Gardevoir), so basically you've got your starter and trash until you've cleared the 3rd badge (some trash is usable with the right tactics and ability for the job needed, like Hariyama with guts for Wattson or Hariyama/Azumarill with thick fat for THE 4th gym, Pokemon you would not even look at if they were in FRLG). Also Hoenn games heavily favor certain types while making others completely miserable (Ruby Treecko line is a pain to use, Sapphire/Emerald any fire type drops 2 tiers because everything relevant resists fire and your best moves are the coverage ones, not the fire STABs, and it's got an entire route where it rains and a rain Milotic cooltrainer you don't see coming who stomps your not ready team). Hoenn loves water despite having a volcano and a sun/ground legendary. This game hates fire types. And ghosts with everything having bite or pursuit (gen 2-4 common coverage). And steel ruins the viability of a few Pokemon in some key fights too (be it defensively or offensively, your steel or their steel). And so many mons have levitate, are flying type or grass (with a 2ndary type that nullifies fire weakness, like Ludicolo, Lombre, Cradily...or they fight in the rain like palm tree dinosaur mon). And dark types can't use STAB moves due to trash sp atk, are super slow and squishy. Basically the only good dark type in RSE is Sharpedo because it has mixed attacking stats and a speed stat. Gen 7 has super slow Pokemon, but Hoenn tends to have even slower mons, a few exceptions with 115-140 speed and mostly Gardevoir, Blaziken and a handful of others around 80 speed (hello Gyarados, we had not been missing you).

Why not emerald
