Another day, another Jrose video. I could get used to this, I wish this month wouldn't end. Gen 3 is my childhood, I always love when Jrose covers it more
Hey jrose! I’m loving the nuzlocke content here and there, quick note for Ruby, sapphire and emerald, Minun (and to the same extent Plusle) absolutely break the elite four for nuzlockes, if I’m not mistaken all the first mons of each member almost always go for a status move, you get substitute, then encore the status move they can’t use since you’re subbed, and then baton pass onto another team member that can either wreck their team as itself, or to baton pass to someone who can set up a bit and then just wipe their team. The TH-camr Freezai explains just how broken Minun is for gen 3 nuzlockes. Managed to find a Minun for my emerald nuzlocke, and him and Ninjask chain baton pass cleaned the elite four little to no issue, and Minun was never a hinderance using throughout the nuzlocke either, ESPECIALLY with the 7.8/10 too much water hoenn region.
This may be Emerald only, but there is actually a way to guarentee a Magneton, depending on your definition of Dupes Clause! In Aqua Hideout, there are 2 static Electrodes, 1 of which you can catch, which if you count any member of that evolution line as a dupe, lets you go back to get a guarenteed Magneton! I would recommend this, as Electric Steel is a nutty type combination in older gens.

I'm surprised you didn't mention that Breloom actually can't learn Spore unless you evolve it at level 52. Very impractical for a run like this and definitely the best example of missing out on a key move for the health of the team
But Breloom also has Technician bullet seed which can range from 75 to 188 base damage which is crazy and would be a great help for drakes kingdra (you would have spore and swords dance by now) and very reliable for Steven, and solo sweeping wallace, also i didn't pay attention to whether his breloom was technician so don't quote me on this

In case anyone was wondering, Treecko is actually a VERY good starter for Hoenn Nuzlockes, despite it being the weakest starter, due to the abundance of water types and only being weak to two of the gyms. It’s still outclassed by Marshtomp, but only because there are very few grass type trainers in the game. Agreed. Water type 8th gym, team aqua in sapphire, and and water type champion in Emerald counts for a lot. To be fair, Jrose relies a lot on leveling up to outspeed things in his solo run content, so maybe he also doesn't know how valuable it is to reliably outspeed your opponents when playing with level caps, which sceptile does.
Hoenn has by far the strongest starter trio of any generation. I'm not too bothered by the claim that Treecko is the weakest of the three, because it's still very very good. Reasonably speaking though, Torchic is the weakest. Struggles vs 4 of the final 5 fights in Emerald, 3 of the final 5 in Ruby/Sapphire, and is weak to the last 3 gyms while also being weak to the first gym.
Treecko would be so much better if it at least got Mega Drain instead of being stuck with Absorb until Lv. 29 while the other two starters get 2 40-60 power STAB moves as early as Lv. 16. At least this was fixed in ORAS by giving Treecko Mega Drain at Lv. 13. Also love ur Hooty profile pic btw lol.
While I agree that treecko is not a bad pick in gen 3 since you do get an abundance of waters, grass types in general aren't very good in gen 3, and outside of roxanne, if you aren't playing emerald, only the 8th gym is one where it has an advantage (with wallace for Emerald). And the thing is, you can easily guarantee a magnemite by catching a electrode in the Aqua Hideout of Lilycove, then backtrack to catch Magnemite in the Power Plant outside of Mauville. Not only that, staryu is pretty easy to get around the water routes near Ever Grand City/Pacifilog (or you can fish it outside of lilycove if you don't get wailmer there) which can learn thunderbolt and is a fast water type with decent special attack, which can handle the 8th gym more or less solo, and there is always the chance to get a oddish/gloom in either Slateport, Mauville or in some of the tall grass sections before/after Fortree. Coupled with the fact that if you are playing base ruby/sapphire, grovyle's learning moves pool is kinda bad up until leaf blade. And outside of all the above, Sceptile doesn't really bring you much in the E4 fight unless you're on Emerald, where it can have some contribution against some of Wallace's pokemon (albeit Tentacruel & Milotic can be tricky to deal with due to their coverage) Mudkip on the other hand, in addition to only having about 4 trainers with grass pokemon that are mandatory (3 of them being your rival, and no mono grass gym to deal with), gives you a free roxanne (more or less), if you are playing ruby/sapphire a free wattson fight (less free in emerald due to exploding voltorb lead), which can be a run killer or at the very least a hard fight , and once marshtomp & swampert is gained, can be a good pivot against random electric types due to it's immunity (pairing really nicely with the Broken Gyarados despite not having physical water stab yet). Stab mud shot while 95% accurate with the speed drop & raw damage output can deal with half of flannery's team, can learn Ice beam if you don't have an altaria answer for the 6th Gym, and can spam surf against tate & Liza relatively safely (especially Ruby/Sapphire where they only have 2 pokemon), and while not super great into anything specific in the E4/Champion fights, can be made of use with surf spam or just to take a hit & possibly bait some moves for other team members (Ice beam is a little less useful from Swampert because it isn't the fastest thing ever, so you would prefer a tentacruel/Starmie against drake). I will say though, ORAS did at least buff treecko significantly in movepool distribution (and if you use megas), so at least there it's a lot more viable as a starter
Fighting types in Gen 3 were amazing. I haven’t watched the video yet but for sure Medicham with ice punch, shadow ball, brick break, etc can solo the E4. Also, water/ground is quite possibly the best type combo in Pokémon history so yeah lol.
@@TheBigMan920 I seriously love Water/Ground. Quagsire, Gastrodon especially, Whiscash and especially Swampert. There’s some I’m forgetting I’m sure but yeah they’re all great.
It's unfortunate that Swampert didn't survive until the E4 because it dominates like nothing else. Great stats, Surf and Earthquake demolish most of Steven's team, Ice Beam destroys Drake, and Brick Break for Sidney and Glacia. It generally can overpower Phoebe, though support doesn't hurt. Great run as always! Hope best mon Swampert gets to make a comeback in Emerald
@jrose11 Thanks for struggling and having fun for us man! I used to do solo runs for fun when I was a younger and watching someone boil these games down to an exact science has been eye opening and I’ve been hooked since the beginning of covid. Love your content man. Also - these vids have to take a toll, so I appreciate what you do and you’re easily my favorite TH-camr! When I see there is a jrose vid, I buckle up and watch right away
So while I think because the daycare exists and you can just trade time for levels, hacking in rare candies is justified. That said if you grind on mons you risk em to brain farts, but gain EV's so end up with stronger mons. I like these strategy guides because they're accessible for everyone, a kid who just has a cartridge can play Rather than someone who knows how to save file edit. Or is playing on emulator. So good job
Your move choice in some of these fights is making me rage. But the month of JRose, or Jrosember as I've been calling it, has been making me so happy. Thank you for your work sire.
I find myself struggling to find new content from people this month but I can always rely on this channel to give me something to watch every day, loving it!
Honest opinion, Watson is the hardest fight in the game if you don't have Marshtomp or Shedinja due to the crazy RNG with Parafusion and only one or two chances to get a proper resist depending on your version and starter due to the high special attack and defense of Magneton since this is pre special split, so most available special attackers are weak or don't resist Magneton.
You really can see on your figths that Nuzlocking is not your prime skillset. Switching in Marshtomp into focus punch had me screaming at the screen. Cool to see that you still create instructional videos for beginners even though this is not your comfort zone :)
Yknow I would recommend using rare candies and sticking to the level cap there is no strats that go into grinding its usually just fight trainers and fight pokemon so using rare candies would just improve the viewer experience and if anything it just makes the nuzloke harder since you can't get evs.
man ths is the game that made me a pokenerd thanks for keeping these old games alive i watch the gen 1 and gen 2 vids bc i wasnt born untill 99 i got blue but no hardware to play it on love the vids i still have my sapphire cart with 999:59 hrs on it lmao had that same save since 2007
I just did my first Red and Blue run, using a pre evolved Pokémon you haven’t used yet. I won’t spoil the surprise and tell you what I used, but given you’re a lot more experienced at this than me and will presumably do it faster (although there were a few lucky segments which you may be less forgiving of and spend more time levelling up or resetting if the luck was too good), it may be a solid contender for a top 3/5 finish. Wasn’t expecting it, but it got a very good time. The only trainers that genuinely took a while to get past were the last three
12:00 grinding very time consuming, kinda why I often rare candy. I’ve gotten deaths due to grinding, and tbh I want my deaths to be to skill issue at the important points
Aron becomes Lairon at level 32, and Aggron at level 42. Lairon doesn't really have good enough stats to be worth using. Aggron is basically an elite 4 only pokemon due to how late in the game it's available. And you can just catch a Lairon in Victory road as your final encounter to get it. It's the poster child for Hoenn's "bad for most of the game, becomes great later on" problem.
1:48 you can just evolve it to combusken lol It got peck for brawly Fighting moves for magnemites Counter to norman Beats sidney Beats glacia Beats steven
Pretty sure magnemite/ton is a guaranteed encounter if you get an electrode from the hideout which is it’s own area, and then go to new mauville afterwards
personally i think torchic is the right pick for a few reasons. your basically guarenteed a pokemon with type effectiveness, whether its seedot/lotad, wingull, shroomish, or trading a slakoth for makuhita. so once your passed roxanne, blaziken is the best mon for the elite four. solos sidney, glacia, and 5 of stevens pokemon. rough for the gyms but easy endgame
in what universe is Gardevoir a "Late game evolution" it evolves at level 20 From Ralts to Kirlia and 30 for Gardevoir so HOW is this late game ? this is 5th Gym at latest
5:09 I used shedinja in a casual playthrough and it was practically useless at the elite 4. Sydney specializes in dark type which destroy shedinja. Ice type member wants hail up at all times. Obviously other ghosts destroy it. Dragons tend to have fire coverage or rock moves, Steven is also well prepared for shedinja special mention goes to skarmory who can set up spikes so that shedinja can instantly faints upon switching in.
yeah the part about ralts being weak is so true, ive tried using ralts in oras in the fighting gym, because i thought psychic fairy should be insanely good there, but no, despite the 4x resistance it got bodied, dont recommend.
The route west of maulville is actually where I used to power level back when I played Ruby,Sapphire and Emerald as a kid. It helps out more than people think.
I know you hear this alot but I love you videos I watch them daily at this point. I've loved Pokemon since I was a kid but watching your videos makes me love the Pokemon verse more. Thank you for the consistent uploads and awesome entertainment. 😎
I am so confused why you switched from electrode against skarmory then lost breloom. It outspeeds and resists all it's moves and it would at least two shot it.
In one of my Emerald runs, I managed to get a Lombre and a Dustox for Norman. This meant that I was able to protect with Dustox->switch on the loafing turn to Lombre->Fake out->switch back to Dustox->repeat until Slaking fell into Mach Punch range from Breloom. Even then it was kind of tricky because I had to thread the needle of keeping Slaking above healing range but low enough that Mach Punch was guaranteed to kill.
Another counter to slaking is, assuming you can tank one hit/flinch it with fakeout/outspeed it, dig. You can get the TM for that from the fossil maniac on route 114, and if you use it so that you are underground when slaking attacks, you can't be hit.
i can still remember my old emerald nuzlocke. my marshtomp died to a ninja boys koffing using selfdestruct in my face. i lost like 3 party members including my route 101 encounter to the parasol girl on the route past fortree city who has a Thunder Manectric... in the rain!! And My Hariyama pulled a "Ron Weasely", by letting itself take the hit of Wallaces Milotic so my Magneton could come in on full HP to win! (refering to the philosophers stone wizards chess scene, towards the end of the book/film)
Very nice video Although I did almost die of cringe when you switched out electrode in front of skarmory...and sacrificed breloom 😅 We all have our cringe moments
People who nuzlocke or are considering Nuzlockes but hate grinding, take the Rare Candy Pill. Grinding sucks, it's boring as hell, and just takes up time. Unless you specifically wanna EV train, use a cheat code or PkHex rare candies into your save file. It makes Nuzlocking soooo much more fun imo
Mightyena is an underrated pokemon for a Gen 3 Nuzlocke. It might be overlooked but with intimidate it's decent. Especially since you can guarantee it and also gyarados to have double intimidate on your team. But don't use Crunch, it's special in this gen. Return, Shadow Ball, Dig and Howl is the moveset to go for. You can also use swagger or taunt (can be life saver against phoebe). It also gets Thief via level up, so you can steal items from wild pokemon and trainers.
I'm heavily into the shroomish camp. Shroomish, paras and bidoof are my 3 favorite Pokemon. Period. They do stuff. You have to keep shroomish from evolving until 54 to get spore 😢 but brick break is a great tm to tack on to that breloom once it's evolved. Along with false swipe. And just hang on to gigadrain for stab. Love this little shroom!
Ralts evolve in the " very late game"? The final evolution is on level 30, that mid-game and it's really good for the second half of the Game. Aron on the other side is way worse than you make it sound like, "Aggron would obliterate Norman" I guess you are right but at level 31 (the level cap for Norman) it's still an Aron, it's final evolution is on level 42 so you, so right before gym 7. Also, give Zigzagoon it bit more respect, it's not just a Hm slave. It gets Headbutt very early, and it evolves at level 20. It's not helpful in the first 2 arenas but it helps with random early trainers, and later it can be an HM slave.
I love this vids, brings back my nostalgia for all these games. Thank you. I got my first pokemon in 99 when I got Yellow for my 9th birthday. Thank you foe these feels.
3:20 Gardevoir is one of my top three favorite mons, but I'll always say it has 29 problems, called levels 1 to 29. Once it reaches level 30, it becomes a beast, but until them the poor thing falls to someone looking somewhat intensely in its general direction. It is THAT frail, and it can't really take down mons in it is suposed power range that easily either. Kirlia feels like a first form mon, compared to the power Gardevoir has. In fact, the initials ARE stronger than Kirlia in their base forms, and even mons like Shinx are barely weaker than Kirlia (263 vs 278 total base stats). Gardevoir is almost twice as powerful, stats wise, than Kirlia. Hell, Pichu is stronger than Ralts, and Pikachu is MUCH stronger than Kirlia, while Raichu is quite weaker than Gardevoir! So yeah, unless you are lucky and VERY careful with Ralts, it's not exactly prime material for a nuzlocke. Not until level 30. Also, the fairy type and moves gave Gardevoir a lot of power that doesn't have prior to that.
In my experience gen 4 has the hardest nuzlockes. Between the level curve and better AI, things can get pretty harsh. It would be interesting to see if this series runs through the gens one by one.
Nah Gen 4 are quite easy You could argue that Gen 7 nuzlockes are pretty challenging, but aside from them anyone should be able to hardcore nuzlocke any vanilla game It's really when you start to get into romhacks that things get interesting
@@florianpaulet2261 yes usum is very difficult in end game for me. Especially against the groudon in the magma village for example or the ultra story boss. It can easily end your run in a snap if you get any bad rng
while blind-nuzzlocking Omega Ruby I was so close to losing so many times due to all these absorb oddish and other stuff like that... finally Mega Gallade wiped me out, but that was earned for sure
For the elite four/champion I had always learned that your level cap was the champions highest level pokémon. Because that makes the most sense right That way you're not at a any sort of disadvantage when you get to the champion
@@menderbug1 if you’re genuinely interested I would refer you to the Jrose Can you beat Crystal without dealing damage run, where I elaborated on my situation and why I appreciate Jrose 👍
Do what I did: - acro bike - ride up to one of the sand slopes -grab some coins and a rubber band -run into over and over -leave it running all day When you have a Pokémon in the day care for each step is 1 xp. So over night before the elite 4 I have lv 70 Pokémon. But I never do hardcore nuzes so good luck
A true hard challenge for hardcore Nuzlockes, because I always thought nuzlocking was supposed to be like this: You can only use the pokemon in the order you catch them. So, in this game. The starter. (Examples). Wingull. Ralts. Tailow. Slakoth. Abra. And you can ONLY use these until you need an HM. (NEED) or until you lose one of them. Then you use the next one you catch. Repeat until you lose/win. Also, Duplicates make it harder. Also, I level caps don't.. matter in battle? And why is everybody thinking the last E4 member is the level cap? As long as you hit the level cap before the battle, it doesn't matter. But going over the level cap for the champion, will negate that pokemon if it goes over thanks to the E4.
I'm gonna change up the format a bit and talk more about the successful run, but this was recorded over a month ago before I released any of these. I hope it's still a good video.

@@TheBigMan920 I seriously love Water/Ground. Quagsire, Gastrodon especially, Whiscash and especially Swampert. There’s some I’m forgetting I’m sure but yeah they’re all great.
@@plebisMaximus I have to admit I was caught napping about Whiscash a bit and it came through in the clutch.
I can't wait for the emerald and leaf green / fire red play through!
I can watch jrose all day every day!
Your narration is just so great!
Thank you for being you!
I'll be sad when the month of jrose is over.
YEAR OF JROSE FTW
AJ would quit
@@Jrose11genuinely curious, how long did this take to prepare for? You had to be making extra videos on the side for months for this
@@tradeka4206 UMMMM, can Canadians plead the Fifth?
@jrose11 Thanks for struggling and having fun for us man! I used to do solo runs for fun when I was a younger and watching someone boil these games down to an exact science has been eye opening and I’ve been hooked since the beginning of covid. Love your content man. Also - these vids have to take a toll, so I appreciate what you do and you’re easily my favorite TH-camr! When I see there is a jrose vid, I buckle up and watch right away
You CAN use the Protect strategy against Norman, but it's not worth the cost. There's no way he doesn't disown you after you do that to him
Him and the players mom are getting divorced anyways-
So while I think because the daycare exists and you can just trade time for levels, hacking in rare candies is justified.
That said if you grind on mons you risk em to brain farts, but gain EV's so end up with stronger mons.
I like these strategy guides because they're accessible for everyone, a kid who just has a cartridge can play
Rather than someone who knows how to save file edit. Or is playing on emulator.
So good job
That sad moment when you realize the month of Jrose is coming to a conclusion… 😢 Thank you for all the great videos!
Why, he is retiring?
@@Dominik40301 no, the uploads are just going to slow down
Your move choice in some of these fights is making me rage. But the month of JRose, or Jrosember as I've been calling it, has been making me so happy. Thank you for your work sire.
I find myself struggling to find new content from people this month but I can always rely on this channel to give me something to watch every day, loving it!
I wish we had a Jrose podcast so I could listen to him for like 2 hours straight while I'm playing lol
That would be awesome.
Do not underestimate linoone as a potential elite 4 end game sweeper.
Belly Drum is a hell of a move
Don't sleep on Crawdaunt and Absol either. Swords Dance + Substitute and you can sweep just about everything.
@@SoulmongerV2 Linoone sweeps the entire e4 solo tho, you can't really beat that
@@bunzk8286 Reliably?
@@SoulmongerV2 Yes. Search for "The BEST Pokémon For An Emerald Hardcore Nuzlocke"
I absolutely love this channel, I'm so thankful he has been able to post daily. It's the first time I have checked notifications for youtube
Seeing things actually evolve in your videos always feels weird to me now.
Yknow I would recommend using rare candies and sticking to the level cap there is no strats that go into grinding its usually just fight trainers and fight pokemon so using rare candies would just improve the viewer experience and if anything it just makes the nuzloke harder since you can't get evs.
man ths is the game that made me a pokenerd thanks for keeping these old games alive i watch the gen 1 and gen 2 vids bc i wasnt born untill 99 i got blue but no hardware to play it on love the vids i still have my sapphire cart with 999:59 hrs on it lmao had that same save since 2007
You forgot one of the golden rules of Nuzlocks. You have to nickname all the Pokemon
He did. He nicknamed them after their species names.
The only rule I never follow. No point
The only trainers that genuinely took a while to get past were the last three
Mudkip is just the win button. It's quite possible the single most broken nuzlocke Pokémon in the history of the franchise.
12:00 grinding very time consuming, kinda why I often rare candy. I’ve gotten deaths due to grinding, and tbh I want my deaths to be to skill issue at the important points
This is great! I would love to see a more narrative driven Nuzlocke similar to the double battles one you did.
1:48 you can just evolve it to combusken lol
It got peck for brawly
Fighting moves for magnemites
Counter to norman
Beats sidney
Beats glacia
Beats steven
I think the point was more about how it's an example of a Pokémon that's really bad until it's fully evolved, not the late game part
I'm glad to see that Walrein got the Elite Four spotlight! Like the breakdown of how Nuzlocking works!
Your red nuzlocke video got me to do one on fire red, and I used a lot of advice from your videos and had really a very smooth go of it.
People ban Shedinja because it makes a dumb gameplay, not really because it's strong
The month of jrose has been the best!!!! Don't stop!!!
yeah the part about ralts being weak is so true, ive tried using ralts in oras in the fighting gym, because i thought psychic fairy should be insanely good there, but no, despite the 4x resistance it got bodied, dont recommend.
This man keeps on chucking out content as if it just spawns randomly out of the air non stop. What a unit.
@jrose13 dude i can't wait 🤩
You know what this is the video that will finally make me subscribe I really enjoyed watching your content so you deserve it for sure
I so hope that pchal reviews this nuzlocke. I want Jrose to get as much exposure as possible
Dude would get bodied for not using rare candies
Also, he sacked his Breelom against Skarmory when he could have simply used the Electrode that was already on the field
Guaranteed shilling for Guts Tailow
Jrose does his nuzlocke videos like a guide though. Pchal reviews single nuzlocke play throughs.
There's just too many mistakes to explain I feel like
The guy was dead to crit so many times
Take the rare candy pill Jrose! 💊
This reminds me of the old catch 'em all's in a great way, thanks for this!
The month of horse is legit haven’t missed a video love it
neighs in agreement
The route west of maulville is actually where I used to power level back when I played Ruby,Sapphire and Emerald as a kid. It helps out more than people think.
I'm a pretty crappy nuzlocker, but you barely need any 'advanced' strategy for the early gen base games at all, they're so insanely easy.
Calm your ass down.
Loving these new Nuzlocke 101 videos. I’m learning and having fun …. Very weird experience.
Loving all the variety of videos the month of jrose has brought !
Can't wait to see some more gen 3 content!
This is one of the rare times where I got to use the Shiny clause.
In Granite cave I found a shiny Makuhita in Ruby version.
I wonder if he'll get a new intro /hj
Amazing video, keep up the great work on the last push for the Month of Jrose!
Also shoutout to Cacturne for being the only good special attacking dark type in RSE. She owns phoebe except for the dusclops with ice beam
Very nice video
Although I did almost die of cringe when you switched out electrode in front of skarmory...and sacrificed breloom 😅
We all have our cringe moments
People who nuzlocke or are considering Nuzlockes but hate grinding, take the Rare Candy Pill.
Grinding sucks, it's boring as hell, and just takes up time. Unless you specifically wanna EV train, use a cheat code or PkHex rare candies into your save file. It makes Nuzlocking soooo much more fun imo
Or simply remove EV to make things even better
breloom is one of my fav gen 3 pokemon, and it was crushing to see it faint
Mightyena is an underrated pokemon for a Gen 3 Nuzlocke.
It might be overlooked but with intimidate it's decent. Especially since you can guarantee it and also gyarados to have double intimidate on your team.
But don't use Crunch, it's special in this gen. Return, Shadow Ball, Dig and Howl is the moveset to go for. You can also use swagger or taunt (can be life saver against phoebe).
It also gets Thief via level up, so you can steal items from wild pokemon and trainers.
Watson steel? I thought he had electricity?
Perfect timing just before bed
I could be wrong but I thought the move with Norman was to teach DIG to marshtomp to manipulate truant. And then probably Breloom for the vigeroth
@jrose13 lmao, I almost got scammed by jrose13 hahahah
So excited for this video. Gen 3 is when nuzlockes get REALLY fun imo :D
Meh. Gen 4 is pretty chill besides all of the horrendous mons you can encounter. The hardest vanilla by far is usum
Nah Gen 4 are quite easy
You could argue that Gen 7 nuzlockes are pretty challenging, but aside from them anyone should be able to hardcore nuzlocke any vanilla game
It's really when you start to get into romhacks that things get interesting
@@florianpaulet2261 yes usum is very difficult in end game for me. Especially against the groudon in the magma village for example or the ultra story boss. It can easily end your run in a snap if you get any bad rng
I remember this one. It was sick.
Can’t wait for you to go for Emerald Kaizo some day, it’s like the king of Nuzlockes, pls do it!
Five tries? That's a significant improvement. Nicely done.
Isn't part of the idea of a Nuzklocke that you don't want to lose Pokemon? That you're meant to use skill to keep all the pokemon alive?
These are some great tips. I just started a emerald hcnuz. Definitely some info ill use
What bs....
24 seconds lets gooooo. I'm so excited. I love this month
I mean Crobat is really good.
Hey. Throwing a thumbs up and commenting to support the channel itself. Never been a fan of nuzlockes myself, but I hope everyone else enjoys.
Love these nuzlock videos bro very well done
How dare you say Breloom is not amazing!

It can't be a coincidence that the month of JRose is coinciding with this Leafs heater
you are the content king
Fun fact: Swampert has the highest BST (Base Stat Total) of all starter pokemon.
Oh oh oh oh oh oh I'm undeafeatable, Pokemon Advanced Nuzlocke!
I'm home sick, and catching up with Jrose is excellent
while blind-nuzzlocking Omega Ruby I was so close to losing so many times due to all these absorb oddish and other stuff like that... finally Mega Gallade wiped me out, but that was earned for sure
For the elite four/champion I had always learned that your level cap was the champions highest level pokémon. Because that makes the most sense right That way you're not at a any sort of disadvantage when you get to the champion
Love the description. Best theme song ahah
This run gets the OG Bug Catcher official stamp of approval! 👍
Is this all you do?
@@menderbug1 if you’re genuinely interested I would refer you to the Jrose Can you beat Crystal without dealing damage run, where I elaborated on my situation and why I appreciate Jrose 👍
Do what I did:
- acro bike
- ride up to one of the sand slopes
-grab some coins and a rubber band
-run into over and over
-leave it running all day
When you have a Pokémon in the day care for each step is 1 xp. So over night before the elite 4 I have lv 70 Pokémon. But I never do hardcore nuzes so good luck
A true hard challenge for hardcore Nuzlockes, because I always thought nuzlocking was supposed to be like this:
You can only use the pokemon in the order you catch them.
