- We've finally arrived in the French Alps and the mountains are covered in flowers for our summer roadtrip.
We forage for fragrant mountain herbs, camp in abundant wildflower meadows and take a beautiful hike up through the Alpine forests where we find loads of wild strawberries to snack on. Eventually we arrive at the top of the trail to find a picture perfect lake just in time for sunset.

Love seeing you two living your passion so beautifully. We were children in love during the flower power days of the 70s and have carried much of that ethos with us throughout our more than 50 years together. Yess we adore this area! There doesnt seem to be anywhere in the world quite as beautiful as the mont blanc region for us. Its just breathtaking those snowy peaks. And yes haha she fell straight asleep when we got back to the van 😂

I hope that you don't mind a few questions about your van build...in the process of doing your build...did you start your ceiling paneling first or was it more of from the ground up process? Did you add insulation behind all your wood paneling? Thanks!
Heyy magdalena thank you so much for watching this and for such sweet words! So yess we did insulate behind all the wood first. The process was to get the van (originally a minibus) to a bare shell, give a good clean inside, install wooden batons to secured wood into, fit insulation, add a plywood layer (secured into batons) and then we went in with the wooden panelling which you see 🤗💕
Please be safe, and don't adorn your driving cabin with items that'll end up as projectiles should an incident happen! Appreciate the aesthetics but safety first :)
