Vince Gill is a wonderful entertainer and a wonderful person, my daughter went to see him at Calhoun music land with a friend, she had front roll seats, my daughter was in a wheelchair from birth, that didn't slow her down at all, she loved country music and went to karaoke shows a lot, sorry getting to the point, Vince Gill came off stage and picked her up from her chair, she was always really tiny, he carried her on stage and sung, I STILL BELIEVE IN YOU, to her, she loved it, they said she was on stage waving at the audience like she was the star, such sweet memories, my girl went to heaven in 2009, miss her so much, I know I'll see her agian one day, wanted to share with y'all what a really nice guy Vince is, we love you Vince and Amy, wish Vince could read this, I know he would remember that little girl he made so happy that one night in georgia, I think it was maybe 96 or 97,🙏🫶✌️🎄👑🎁

Vince Gill sang “Whenever You Come Around” while Amy Grant looked on adoringly. He wrote and sang this lovely ballad for her. Can’t think of very many country artists who would go that far for a loved one. Still sounds terrific after all these years.

@thomastarwater. It was years ago though,while he was still married to his last wife and Amy was married to her last husband,her kids' dad. I think he still just sings it cause it was a hit song.

He did write the song, GO REST HIGH ON THAT MOUNTAIN, for his brother when he passed away, and he sings that song with so much feeling in it😔🫶✌️🙏

Wow...the voice alone...sweet Carmel tone with adequate force and colour.
The song : such a beautiful melody to match a soulful sentimental ballad.
I love the way he does NOT overplay this...the economy of notes played to fit...only a couple key notes get stretched...otherwise this might be...a perfect rendition of a timeless truth and a truly golden song.
