My father played guitar with harmonica and sang in french. I was raised on this music, rice , & gumbo.

This is almost perfect music, the combination of the instruments is so well done, I listen to them every day and sometimes repeat it 3-4 times one after another. Also thanks to TH-cam.

Is there nothing Joyce Barnaby can't do? Seriously, really enjoyed it, and can hear the words more clearly with this singer.

@@tomsmith5216 This is Pontchartrain, just outside New Orleans. The French festival is Saulieu, between Paris and Lyon in the Massif Central. Does anyone know if it's on this year?

    What are the words?

    • @PatakaisseTV
      @PatakaisseTV  5 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Chercher mon cher ‘tit veau,

you have had, you will have no more,
      Potatoes and gratins,
      Layer and curd layer,
      Porridge, rabbit skin.
you have had, you will have no more,
      What's left is for us.
I was in the savannah looking for my dear 'little calf,
I climbed on my popo, And I had back pain.
you have had, you will have no more,
      What's left is for us.
