Ben, you and your family ha've been through a traumatic experience with the car accident. It's only right to feel off. I'm glad you're physically ok but the emotional portion takes longer. Take your time . We all adore your channel and family

I'll second that. They've been through it once before. Round two is bound to bring up some uncomfortableness. The body has a way of remembering things like that and even though there was no rollover, the adrenaline spike would have recalled all the fear and potential for disaster that they went through last time. Sometimes we just have to be kind to ourselves and allow the time we need to process stuff.

Hi Ben... no need to apoplogize for not getting into the groove. You, Meg and your beautiful kids got lucky again ... no one got injured, you all sure had an Army of Guardinan Angels sitting right next to you during the car accident. Please don´t be so hard on yourself. This was a very traumatising experience and it takes time to put your mind to rest, pick up the pieces and move on. Totally normal and no one here would ever say anything negative nor complaining about the content of the videos, be assured. All we care about is, that our favourite Hollar family is all well, save and sound and that is what matters the most. Sending faith and hope. Be blessed, you deserve it and so much more. They have social hierarchy, can basically fend for themselves and are trainable and adaptable to new routines or surroundings. Interesting creature really. Glad your vehicle is home. We don’t have a lot in common but I identified with this. You are a vibrant and healthy young man with a family to provide for and protect. Im a handicapped older woman but as a single mom when my husband abandoned us (youngest 2 of 5 still home), I learned really quickly how crushing the feeling of having to provide for and protect can be. Perhaps crushing because Im female and had to be both mom and dad. But in any case it’s a huge role to fill and I don’t know how anyone, male or female can handle it without faith in the lord. In Nov 2018 a driver ran a red light and tboned me. 2nd time in that particular intersection, 10 years or so apart. Both times insurance was horrible to me. This last time it happened right after leaving my church, having just done an act of service for someone. I was actually praying and feeling grateful when it happened unexpectedly. I lost my car, insurance treated me like a criminal, it took many months to get a new car and NO ONE did the right thing. It shook my faith. In myself, other people, and admittedly in God. I to this day get anxiety about leaving the house. It’s hard to get over the feeling of I can’t trust that this won’t happen again. Give yourself time, get alone with God and get honest with Him. He can take it. And in time the trust will come back.

I got hit as a pedestrian coming out of a store up on a sidewalk so I still am very nervous where cars are around. It has been 8 years. I'm still in some pain everyday because of it. At least I wasn't treated like a criminal but no one understood how much pain I was in because nothing broke and I could still walk. I had and could still have several displaced bones. They hurt when they aren't in the right place and you can't show that to anyone. I know a bit how you feel.

Ben be easy on yourself. You and the family went through an accident that could have been so much worse. As head of your family, I'm sure you take on the responsibility for keeping everyone safe and healthy. And then you had to deal with the aftermath. Give yourself a little break. Take it a little easy and relax as much as possible. You'll get through this and will be fine. Love watching your vlogs!

I have a totally blind chicken named Helen and she gets around really great. I just keep the food bowls in the same place. She even gets up/down from the nesting boxes quite well.

Hiya Ben, brilliant vlog as always. You've all been through some tough times with 2 car accidents, thankfully none of you were seriously hurt. Your bound to feel off and out of sorts. Be kind on yourself, don't be too tough with your expectations. Thinking about you all in my prayers and thoughts 🙏 ❤ love and hugs Janx

Trombonccino are amazing and tasty. A 25 ft trellis grew over 100 pounds of them. Let them get brown and the stems start to dry out before picking for winter. They will last as long as 12 months in a cool dry place. Also if you pick them young, when the skins are thin and tender they are better than zucchini.

Only you could find something positive to make of such a nasty accident. Now you have yet another project! I just love your attitude, which is shared by your whole family. It is very encouraging in such unsettling times.

Hello Ben- So easy to hydroplane. Your Excursion is a tank. Thank God for that! When I lived in northern UK, I had a friend who made pottery for me. He had an older Volvo station wagon for his business. He was driving those narrow country roads that England is famous for, with his family, when they were hit head on! The car protected them, but was totaled. Only minor cuts and bruises for all parties. He told me we was looking for a second used Volvo and found one. Next thing I remember, yet another head on crash! This time at a higher speed. Both happened on his side of the road. He broke his ankle, but sadly there was one fatality in the car that hit them. Fix up your vehicle Ben the best you can. I'll be sure to put my 4x4 truck into 'all wheel drive' next time I have to go out in 💦💦 pouring rain. I would definitely roll my Tacoma! ~ Diane

Ben - you never have to apologize really. We just enjoy watching your journey no matter how often or what you show - just do what works for you and your family. And every time I see your Excursion/s, lol, I think of our 02’ Diesel 4x4 Excursion we sold two years ago and miss it.

I'm so grateful none of you were hurt in that accident. Any other vehicle on the roads probably wouldn't have faired as well in saving you all.
So sorry the corn casserole didn't survive but AGAIN I'M SO Grateful that none of you were hurt.
I'm sure that this is not an accident any of you will forget, but it sounds like you have great plans already to fix it back to where you had it and it again will be a safe and secure vehicle for all of you again.
God's Blessings were and are with you and us every minute of every day.
Thank you Jesus in all you do and have done for all of us every minute of every day, and will continue to do.
    We love your family!!!💜

I'm so glad you got Sasquatch back! It looks a lot better than the last time you got into an accident in it. I'm glad to hear it's not too bad to get it back on the road. It's wonderful that the motor is fine. It was nice seeing you give the pigs a treat and doing your late chores. Vloging can certainly go out the window when you're fresh from another accident. Thanks for this Hollars.

One of my more memorable roosters (I don't name food critters. If they earned a name somehow, they tend to be the sort that stay.) was blind in one eye. He ended up being called "Smart", because he was very smart. He died fighting a predator. Great bird.
I've not found that chickens have issues with disabilities past a certain point. I have had partially blind birds, ones that have lost toes and/or combs and wattles to frostbite, and ones that suffered grievous injury. If they survive past recovering from the wound, they tend to do well and make adjustments without my needing to shift things for them. The ones with the most "can do" attitudes tend to do the best.
Best thought to you and yours as you shift back to your routine, whatever that looks like. When big disruptions happen, it does take time to flip that switch that lets you get back into a rhythm. Be good to yourself and take the time you need. It's okay. We'll still be here.

Ben stuff to repair vehicles are out of this world. Here in San Antonio, tx we have certi-fit that's cheaper on parts. Have a 2006 malibu max and got both bumpers cheap. Gave our daughter it 3 years ago. Had 80,000 and still running by taking care of it. Have a 2015 trax and it only has 46,000 .. mostly sits in our oldest garage. Now the semi has 2 million miles 2006 freighteliner driversjagt knuckle took 4 weeks to come in April. Steering column took 2 wks from Ohio. Good luck on parts. 1 day at a time

After seeing the truck, it is a miracle that no one was hurt! If you can (in time) repair it, that would be awesome....it is a tank and keeps your family safe! Take time to get your work rhythm back...it has been a hard couple of weeks for all of you. We love you guys!😊❤

The steering linkage may be disconnected but, with those tires it's not "free wheeling"! Do plan in the back of your mind to install a battery kill switch at the battery incase you end up with a kiss of a dead short in some wire.
