I think with the addition of a wife and each child born into the family, God replaces that fearlessness of our youth, into quaking and shaking while on the ladder. This is done to remind us that there are many loved ones who are dependent upon us, and we must be prudent in our decisions when climbing a ladder.😇

I really love that you always include the family saying grace before dinner. It's only seconds, but the statement is huge. May God continue to bless your family, and may you always live healthy, abundant, and prosperous lives.
The two trees across from each other make a naturally beautiful entrance to your homestead. It's lovely there, and you guys have turned that property into a valuable piece of land. Your hardwork has transformed it, and it's yielding it's very best back to your family. God bless you guys!
I love your Holler family. I love your videos. I love your meals, you cook Meg. Enjoy your family visiting and know all of your subs. will still be here. I can't imagine anyone who watches your videos that doesn't keep coming back for more. Travel blessings to your family as they travel to see and be with you all. And the same as they return. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How wonderful that your parents are coming to visit. Enjoy time with them. Burrito's are fast food, and easy. Which is a good thing when you have other things going on. Life is good❤
Buggies bye always cracks me up. And all the questions to Dada. I have 2 girls (15 and 16) and I've had a life time of cuteness and hilarity with them. She's ident to them
Looks so much better than before with gravel! Baby Rose is getting cuter by the day! Enjoy your time with the parents! Burritos are good anytime. Blessings to you beautiful family ❤️🤗🙏🏻
While I don't use my battery chain saw for felling trees, at least not big ones, I love it! I didn't have very high hopes for it when I got it, but I loved my lawn mower that is battery and since it uses the same battery, I got the chain saw. It is perfect for cutting up the limbs etc around my yard. I would never go back to a gas one for what I use it for. But even so, I'm betting you could take down up to a 12" tree with it. And it's not on until you pull the trigger and there's no pulling a rope over and over and over again to start it! Great for us "old guys" backs!! I've long since added the blower and shrub pruner to the set and love them as well. All use the same battery so I now have several batteries I keep charged, each gives about 30 minutes. ❤❤

Francine passed over my house last night. She knocked out my electricity but they had it back on by about 8am. I’ve been picking up limbs all day. I sure could have used that handy dandy chainsaw. I wouldn’t mind that wood chipper too!! The driveway looks great and I’m def getting some jalapeños to make some of that cowboy candy. Mmm ✌🏻

Hello Hollar Family...tks for video. Loved it when Buggie ask you ,"What's that?" She is such a cute little girl. Seems to always be around either Mom or Dad learning all she can. Blessings on all of you.....much love.....
I bought an inexpensive chainsaw to help clear branches that fall at my mother's home. My husband grabs it every chance he gets, and he has Stihl chainsaws. 😊 Enjoy your parents' visits and many blessings to all the Hollars!

Spruce trees are very conical shaped and the branches would let you down easily. Great fun, terrified our moms. I'm 70 now and I hope a lot smarter.... but it sure was fun.

I went from enjoying heights to a full phobia suddenly one day when a friend jiggled the ladder (we did it to each other all the time). That day it took a long time to get down the ladder. It felt like I would die if I let go of a rung to climb down to the next. After that, making myself face the fear and do desensitization was HARD. It only took a couple of years to get to where I could go on a roller coaster again, (with HUGE discomfort at first), but heights were still hard for years. Even now decades later I feel it a bit. I'm proud I never let it stop me and gradually worked through most of it.
I don't use pickling spice in my cowboy candy either. But I do chop them up into very small pieces. Sometimes I'll put a hand blender to a batch also, to make a spread. The driveway looks way better.
Hi Ben and Meg, and family, as people have said as you get older , you get more careful around you, I’m now 60 and compared to even when I was 50 I’m more cautious with things. Don’t get old it stinks😂😂😂, someone even asked if I needed help with my shopping, they nearly got a thick ear😂😂.❤️🇬🇧🙏
I volunteered after Hurricane Katrina. After about 12 days I started physically reacting to roads with dropoffs on the sides. Much later I used Dr. Hulda Clark's zapper. One day I noticed I wasn't reacting any longer to the roads and the only thing I could think of was the zapper. So, I assume I picked up parasites which stayed with me for a few years, until I zapped them with frequency.
When I say 'reacting' I had to slow down to a crawl driving on curved on/offramps with no guards. It felt like I was on a storm-ridden boat. Going thru the mountains at night, I knew instantly when the sides dropped off. Even with guards I still had to go slower than what would be safe in traffic.

Have you considered added some cement to the gravel mix? Kris of the Kris Harbour Natural Building channel added cement for the floor in the lower level of his earthbag workshop. I do not remember the ratio or whether he just spread it on the floor and it was mixed as the floor was tamped/packed down. It helped make the floor harder and to keep it level. The video titled "Off Grid Earthbag Workshop Part 43 Man Cave Floor and Lime Plaster" should contain the cement information (from four years ago). You may, however, need to also view Part 47.

Yes, putting gravel down on the driveway does need to be done from time to time. Trimming the trees around the driveway is a great idea in preparation for the folks visiting in their RV. That's great that you'll be crowning the driveway to move the water away from where it gets puddled. Crush and run is what you're using. Thanks for talking about that. I'm glad you have that laser. Buggy seems to like it! Thanks for showing us how you drag it too. Yum, cowboy candy! Thanks for the tip to use celery seed, turmeric, and garlic for the seasoning. Nice quarter inch slices of the peppers. You don't can it, you just put it in jars and put them in the refrigerator. It looks delicious! Nice job trimming the tree. That wood chipper is great. I just noticed the teeter totter. Nice! Yum, Meg is making burritos! It looks delicious! Thanks for this video Hollar family! I hope you have a lovely visit with your family!
After working the new addition pillars you need some quicker projects that make a visible change like the stairs, some physically easier projects like the tractor work, and some projects you can completely cross off theclist.
