Depoe Bay Spouting Horn

Beside the bright storefronts of Depoe Bay, lie chasms deep, mysterious and full of rage. From these trenches rises the throaty roar of the Pacific, a building cacophony that increases to a deafening crescendo only to die away, and then with sudden violence erupt skyward to douse tourists in brine as the sea savagely crashes against ancient lava and the modern bulwarks that man has built in his hubris against the ravages of the unstoppable power of the ocean.
The immense power of this cataclysmic collision of land and sea produces a display of raw energy and wild beauty during storms and high tide that humbles our mortal souls with its incredible glory. Tourists gasp and scream with wonder from relative safety, though with one false step Poseidon would take their souls as he has so many mariners of the past. Despite the town, the thronging crowds of sightseers and shop goers, the inevitable doom of entropy and time makes itself known with loud voice, cold water, and the tang of unrefined salt.

​@@davestredulinsky The wind was pretty severe the entire trip, as was the rain. Really wanted to do some flying, but there was never a time when conditions were close to suitable for drones!
